《Law of God (Book 1)》three

I went to visit my mother in prison, as my father reluctantly passed away. He suffered from depression and it caused him to commit suicide.
My mother was just telling me how much she wished for him to still be alive. "I miss him, too," I said. Mom chuckled, smiling. "And I miss you." Mom answered back once again.
I sighed. "Please don't be upset with me, I was just trying to help your father until things went terribly wrong." I chuckled, "Yeah, me and Jacob were taken by Child Protective Services."
Mom sighed once again, "I am so sorry your daddy and I put you and him through that. I'm sorry for everything, for the mistakes I made. For the mistakes your daddy and I made," Mom said, softly crying, while I was wondering if she really felt sorry for me when she didn't back then.
******
"Please Ryan, just please forgive me." I swallowed before speaking back to my mother. "I need some air," I said, hanging up the phone and my mom called out my name. But then I continued to walk away, as I put on my suit jacket over my shoulder and left the prison center.
Mom was making me forgive her by what she and dad did. I couldn't even believe she had the nerve to tell me that. Once I got into my car, I turned on the engine. I backed up from the parking lot, and drove back home, I tried calling Jacob, but he didn't answer.
I dialed the number one last time, and he still didn't pick up. I left him a voicemail. Until after I got home, it was late at night and I was asleep. A few minutes later, I got a phone call from Jacob. I opened my eyes, moaning and I looked at the clock to see what time it was.

I sighed, and I got worried wondering why in the world Jacob would call me this late. Is he not even home yet? I answered the phone, and Jacob sounded like he was crying. "Ryan?" Jacob asked as he continued crying. "Jacob? Where are you? Are you home?" I asked.
"I am in the woods, I think I found Izza." I frowned, feeling confused. "Wait what? What are you doing there?" Jacob continued to get upset, "I-I found Izza. Sh-she's dead."
******
I was in complete shocked after Jacob told me he found his girlfriend dead. I remember him telling me that him and Izza were going on a date. I believed him. "Okay, Jacob. I know where you are, just stay there and I'll be there as fast as I can."
Jacob continued to cry, and I was trying to calm him down. Jacob then hung up, I tried to call him back, he didn't pick up. Until I was parked by the side of the woods.
I got out of the car, and I immediately went looking for Jacob. I turned on my flashlight and I was calling out Jacob's name. He shouted, "RYAN!" until I heard him and ran.
I saw Jacob just standing there in tears. I continued running, until I hugged Jacob making sure he's okay. "Are you hurt?" I asked.
Jacob shook his head no. Jacob continued to cry and I turned my head and noticed Izza lying on the ground in cold blood. "What happened?" I asked, Jacob. "I just found her like this. I-I was going for a run, because I couldn't sleep.
******
I just needed to go for a run, until Izza texted me telling me she was in trouble, and I just found her just now." I sighed, closing my eyes, until I opened them again. I turned to face Izza. "I am gonna have to call the police." I said to Jacob. "Okay, okay, I didn't know what to do I am so sorry." Jacob said.

I sighed once again, I hugged Jacob. Then I called nine one one until the police and an ambulance came. Jacob was being questioned by the police, asking him if he saw anyone or even had possibly seen the murder when it happened. I was standing next to Jacob. Jacob was still crying, scared to death.
Poor Izza was just brutally murdered. Until Jacob and I were free to go home. Jacob was still pretty shaken up.
I was driving on our way home, and Jacob sighed, looking out the window. Until I parked my car into the garage, and Jacob and I got out of the car. "It's been a long night, let's head to bed."
Once I walked inside the house, Jacob walked in after me. I shut the door, and poor Jacob looked exhausted. I was exhausted as well. When the next morning arrived, I couldn't go back to sleep.
******
I kept thinking all night about what had happened to Izza. I sighed, leaning myself up from the bed. I went to go check on Jacob.
I walked into his bedroom when I noticed the door was open. He wasn't in bed. I turned, frowning in confusion, and went downstairs to see if Jacob was in the dining room or the kitchen. "Jake?" I asked, softly and wondering where Jacob could be.
Jacob was staring out the window of the kitchen sink and the sun was shining at his face. "Jacob?" I asked softly, slowly walking up to him.
Jacob didn't say a word, I continued slowly walking to him, and Jacob didn't answer me the first time. "Jake?" I asked one last time. I was closer to him. Until I took my hand and slowly grabbed him by the shoulder. Jacob turned and he was covered in blood. I gasped as I woke up. I was trying to catch my breath.
