A long, long time, Mia's POV

Zuba was trying to get alekay to listen but all he did was dance. I was the same age alekay. So I was sitting on the ground, watching them. "Now son if you're going to grow up and be like your daddy someday you gotta learn how to fight." Zuba explained. "Dada." Alekay say, putting his paws on zuba's muzzle. Zuba laughed alittle and so did I. "Alekay let me show you something okay. (lifts up his paw with the mark.) You see this mark, you and me are the same and when you're bigger you're gonna be alpha lion just like your daddy." Zuba explained. Alekay gets into battle stance. "Now let me see you fight okay, ready?" Zuba explained, shacking the rattle. As soon as alekay heard it he started dancing again. "No alekay, no dancing. You just amuse yourself don't ya? Oh you're strange kid you're strange. Now come on, let's try it again. " Zuba said. They continued to do that, when I noticed maconga watching us. "It's so disappointing, when they don't grow up the way you want them too." Maconga said, standing up. "Maconga. You're not challenging me again are you?" Zuba said, standing up as well. "Look on the bright side zuba after I defeat you and take over as Alpha Lion you'll have so much more time with your pathetic excuse of a son." Maconga explained. I hissed at him for calling alekay pathetic. "Before I kick your butt, let me ask you why do you even want to become the Alpha Lion?" Zuba asked. "I'm better-looking, I have better hair, I'm deceivingly smart and I want everyone else to do what I say." Maconga explained. "We'll fight on three. 1..." Maconga said, counting. "Pay attention alekay, daddy gonna show you how it's done." Zuba explained. "2, 3!" Maconga shouted. They started to fight each other, when I noticed Alekay chasing after a butterfly. I chased after him, I noticed him chasing after a rope leading off The Reserve. I got a terrified expression on my face with a few tears coming to my face. I ran back to Alekay's dad to tell him what was happening. "Whose the alpha lion?" Zuba asked. "You are." Maconga said. Zuba stood up. "Don't you forget it, and that alekay is how you attack- alekay?" Zuba said, confused. He noticed my tears and he asked me what was wrong. I told him everything, and we saw the truck that had alekay on it. "You go back to Alekay's mother, I'll try to save him." Zuba said, running after the truck. I nodded, and ran to Alekay's mother. I told her what was happening and she started crying, I started to cry with her.

~~A few weeks later~~

Zuba came back but with a scar on his ear. He told us that he couldn't find alekay and that meant that he was.. gone. I just broke down with tears on my face. I knew that I was never going to see alekay again.
