It was during a meeting with Bang Shi Hyuk that everything changed for Jimin and Jungkook.

He had called them to his office, saying that he wanted to talk to them about their relationship. They were buzzing with nerves. Whatever it was, it couldn't be good if it involved their relationship.

Jimin and Jungkook walked briskly through the Bighit building's bright white halls, clutching each other's hands and praying for the best.

When they arrived, they took a seat in their manager's office, bowing their heads respectfully. They had to be on their best behavior today.

"No need to be so formal boys!" Bang Shi Hyuk exclaimed. "I have a few things I want to discuss today regarding you two. It's up to you to decide whether it's good news or bad news, but I think you'll choose the former."

The two boys perked up. The older man prattled on for a bit with the usual stuff, about how they'd been doing a great job keeping their relationship private. Jimin and Jungkook sighed with relief, thinking that maybe he was just going to talk to them about keeping it on the down-low, but then he surprised them.

"I've been thinking about this a lot, but I think I've finally come to a decision." he said, and hesitated before speaking again.

"You both know I like to be like a father figure to all of you guys. I try my best to keep you happy, safe, and in general, let you live your best life with little restrictions." He cleared his throat.

"I've noticed how much your relationship has suffered from having to hide yourselves. I've noticed how you barely get to spend time with each other alone. I've also noticed how fed up Taehyung-ah is with these "shippers". I notice a lot of things, and I can see that you're unhappy with your situation."

"What I've also noticed, however, is the sheer amount of people that support and "ship" you as a couple, without even knowing if you're truly together."

The couple stiffened, their eyes widening with curiosity, fear, and maybe even joy as they looked at their manager.

"I've realised that.. Well, the world has changed. Outside of Korea, people are a lot more accepting. I think maybe it's time to be a little more truthful to the armies. To set some delusions straight."

Jimin's breath caught in his throat and Jungkook squeezed his hand.

"What I'm trying to say is.. In the end it's your choice of course, but basically, I think you should try and reveal your relationship."

Jimin's jaw fell open, Jungkook mirrored his expression.

"R-Really? You're not kidding?" he stuttered. The shock he was feeling was visible on his face. Jungkook nodded in agreement.

Their manager nodded. "Of course not. I think your fans deserve to know the truth. You will get hate. A lot of it. But in the end it's your choice, and you'll just have to focus on the support instead of the scandals ."

Jimin and Jungkook were grinning brightly with shining eyes, squeezing each other's hands. They glanced excitedly at each other, before Jungkook looked back at his manager with a serious look on his face.

"Are you 100% sure about this? You're really ok with it?"

Bang PD nodded, smiling gently at him. "You work so hard, you deserve happiness"

The boys grinned back, "Thank you so much!" Jimin replied.

Both of them bowed and left as their manager waved. As soon as the door slammed shut behind the, they ran to the dorms, giggling uncontrollably as they headed to tell the other members the news.
