After a couple of weeks, Louis was discharged from the hospital. Harry had visited him everyday instead of going to school and Louis wasn't happy about that.

"Haz, you can't miss your education because of me." Louis tried to tell him.

"I'm sorry but it's not the same without you. Of course there are Niall and the others but I miss you there." Harry explained.

Louis smiled up at him. Harry was helping him put on his coat. Louis no longer had a sling on his arm but the cast was still on his leg which meant he had crutches.

"Thank you, Harry." Louis said to him.

"For what?" Harry asked.

"For everything. You could have left me when this happened but you stayed." Louis said, pushing his arm though the coat.

"I wouldn't leave you Louis, not for anything." Harry assured him.

The two boys were currently sitting in Harry's living room. Jay and Anne had allowed Louis to stay there because Jay would be at work all the time and the girls would be too loud for him.

They were watching the TV, Louis' leg propped up on the coffee table. His head lay on top of Harry's shoulder. Harry was watching the programme on TV when he heard small snores and he looked down and smiled at Louis sleeping. He carefully lifted the small boy's head and adjusted him so his head was on a cushion. He took the blanket from the couch and covered the peaceful boy.

Harry made himself a cup of tea and quietly headed to his room. He desperately wanted to start reading books again so he picked up a novel he had meant to start and began to get lost in the fictional world.

He was reading for around an hour when he heard a sob from the living room. He folded the page and headed to see what happened. He saw Louis sitting with his head in his hands and the petite boy was crying. This made Harry's heart break.

"What's wrong, love?" Harry asked quietly.

Louis' head snapped up. He shook his head as though he didn't want to talk about it and another couple of tears fell down his face.

Harry moved the blanket out of the way and sat beside the small boy. He pulled him into his lap and held him close while Louis cried into his shirt.

"Do you want to talk about it, my love?" Harry asked, looking into the boy's eyes for an indication.

Even as upset as Louis was, Harry could still see a blush forming on his cheeks.

"It's s-stupid." Louis insisted.

"No doll, if it's made you this upset then it must be important." Harry assured him.

"I had a n-n-nightmare and I was driving. You were crossing a road and another car was speeding and d-didn't stop. It felt so real and I thought you were dead." Louis cried more.

"It's okay doll, I'm here and I'm not leaving until you want me to." Harry told the distressed boy.

Louis looked up at him like he said something stupid.

"I never ever want you to leave." Louis told him quietly like if he said it loud then Harry would disappear.

"Then I won't. Would you like a cup of tea, my love?" Harry asked.

"Yes please but Harry." Louis said, also quiet.

Harry smiled at him as a signal to carry on.

"Please don't ever leave. You're the best thing to ever happen to me." Louis whispered.

Harry looked into Louis' eyes.

Harry didn't say anything but instead kissed him. Louis immediately kissed back and held onto Harry for dear life. It was as though Harry was his oxygen and he couldn't survive without him. Louis had never said the infamous "L word" but he was sure he felt that way for Harry. Everyday, the taller boy was all he ever thought about.

When they pulled away, Harry told him he'd be back in a couple of minutes. He headed to his room to get his empty cup and then went to the kitchen to make two new cups. He took the two cups of tea back into the livingroom and Louis had turned the TV back on.

"Thank you Haz." Louis smiled at him and took a sip from the cup.

"Shall we watch a film?" Harry suggested.

Louis nodded and instantly turned on the TV and went to netflix.

Harry placed his cup and Louis' on the table and pulled the small boy back onto his lap. Louis scrolled through films until he found one of his favourites.

Louis clicked play and was immediately excited. Dirty Dancing was one of Louis' all time favourite films along with any other musical.

"He is so pretty." Louis thought aloud as they watched the film.

"Not as pretty as you, my love." Harry told him.

Louis blushed and hid his face in Harry's shirt. Harry tilted Louis' face up to look at him.

"Never hide yourself, baby. I just wish you could see how beautiful you are."

"I love you." Louis whispers and Harry wasn't sure if he heard correctly.

"What did you say Lou?" Harry asked, although he heard correctly.

"Doesn't matter." Louis muttered.

"You love me?" Harry asked.

"Yes Haz, but if you don't love me then that's fine I'll forget I sai-" Harry cut him off.

"Lou, I love you too." Harry assured him.

Louis looked up at him and stared into the emerald green eyes that he'd grown to admire.

"You're not lying?" Louis asked.

"Why would I lie to you baby?" Harry asked as he stared back into his boyfriend's ocean blue eyes.

"Dunno." Louis admitted.

They turned their attention back to the film and Louis fell asleep again, the boy always seems to be tired.

"I love you more than you'll ever know." Harry whispered, thinking Louis was asleep.

Little did he know the small boy heard.
