《Sun Kissed (Tom Holland x Reader)》Chapter 4

☀️Your POV☀️
As I was applying my makeup, I get a text from Tom. I open his text,
"Hey I'll be there in 15 minutes." I look at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a plunging neck black beach dress with a floral pattern. My hair was in a half pony tail, and I was wearing simple black strapped high heels to match. I fixed my makeup quickly and walked out the bathroom and onto the balcony.
I leaned on the balcony, and waited.
The only thing on my mind was Tom, our kiss.
I was honestly kind of nervous to see him again. I was mostly nervous about the party, the only person I knew was Tom. The whole night i'll be following him, listing to conversations, probably take his picture with people. I already felt embarrassed for the things that I was gonna' say at this party.
I go on my phone, and go through my social media. A picture of Tom popped up while searching Instagram. I felt a tinkling feeling in my stomach. A feeling that I've never felt before.
A knock at the door threw my thoughts out the window.
"Coming!" I rush to answer the door. I open the door and see Tom in a blue button up shirt, with a Hawaiian theme. He paired it with simple black skinny jeans and black shoes.
"Hey.." I look into his chocolate eyes, for a moment I almost saw twinkles in his mesmerizing eyes.
I fought the erg to leap into his arms, or to attack him with kisses.
"I'm all set." I smile. Tom smirks, I walk out the door and shut it behind me.
We walk to Tom's car.
"Who's party is it?" I buckle my seat belt.
"It's one of those dinners with friends before my high school friend gets married." Tom chuckled quietly.
"Does that mean I'm your date?" The words burst out of my mouth. I was really curious as to why Tom wanted to bring me to a party.
"Yup. That's what you are- My date." He awkwardly kept driving. I sat back in my seat and sighed.
I look over to examine Tom. I haven't really gotten a good look at him in a while. His brown curls scattered all over his head, and his jawline chiseled. I smile at the adorableness of his perky face. He looks over and chuckles.

"What?" He grins widely.
"You're kinda' cute you know that?" I tilt my head.
He reaches over and places his hand on top of mine.
"Ditto." He slides his fingers in between my fingers.
For the rest of ride we held hands.
Tom parks his car in front of a fancy suburban house. He lets go of my hand, which were a bit sweaty.
Before I could get out Tom already rushed to open my door.
"M'lady." He reaches his hand out. I grab his hand and laugh. He helps me out of his car and shuts the door.
"That's awful nice of you Tom." I pinch his cheek.
"Ouch." He chuckles and grabs his cheek.
"I could of opened the door myself but thank you." He nods and wraps his arm around me, grabbing my waist. We walk into the house together.
"Tommy!" The door swings open and a guy around our age flings himself at Tom.
"I haven't seen you in forever!" The guy backs up and notices me standing there.
"Mate, I didn't know you were bringing a girl." His tone was sarcastic. He extends his arm to shake my hand.
"Girl has a name." I shake his hand for a second and let go.
"Uh- Oliver. Her name is (y/n)" Tom butted in.
"Well, nice to meet you. Lets go inside." He steps aside to let us enter. His house was nicely furnished.
"It's in the back." He scoots away, leaving Tom and I alone. He grabs my hand.
"Are you worried?" He asked.
"Kind of."
"I figured." He squeezes my hand.
We walk into Oliver's backyard, full of people laughing, talking and overall having fun. People notice Tom walking in, these were his High School friends, but people were thrilled because he was a famous actor.
We walk around to find an empty table, we find one and sit down.
"Oh. My. God." A girl exclaims behind me. I turn around, she had her phone in her hand.
"Tom is that you!" She grabs him by the arm and makes him stand up. She hugs him. Tom pulls her away.
"Hey Patt." He steps back.
I felt as if I was in a cartoon, where my face would get boiling red, and steam would come out of my ears. Whoever this was she was kind of an a-hole.

"Can you take a picture of us?" Patt throws her phone on my lap, as she poses for the picture with Tom. I held her phone and stood up. I held the phone up to get a picture of them, and took a few pictures.
"Take another!" She holds a kiss on his cheek.
Oh hell no.
I take a picture and Tom pulls her away. She snatched the phone out of my hand.
"Thanks Tommy!" She runs off. I sat down in my seat, arms crossed.
Tom whips saliva off his cheek and notices I was pissed.
"(y/n)? Dear? Are you mad?" He sits down and scoots his chair closer.
I wanted to scream that I was mad. No. Angry. Furious. Why was I furious? No idea, but that kiss on the cheek- Tom wasn't my boyfriend but I liked him. You never want to see someone kissing your crush. I uncrossed my arms and sighed.
"No." I knew I couldn't stay mad. It was the dumbest reason to be mad.
"Lets just get food." I stood up and walked over to grab some food.
Tom tries to catch up with me, but he kept getting stopped by people.
So far this wasn't fun. But you were doing it for him.
I sit back down in my seat and watch Tom catch up with his pals. I eat my food. Alone. I tried to force myself to tell my mind I was happy. I couldn't, I felt like the odd one out.
"Hey." Tom sits down next to me and sighs. He seemed like he wasn't having a good time either. You sighed and sympathized him.
"Hey." You grin.
-•20 minutes later•-
"Attention everyone!" I look up and see Oliver and his fiancé holding mics. I look over and see Tom finishing his food.
"We want to thank you all for coming. I have a few words for my beautiful fiancé Cierra." Oliver pulls out a peace of paper and starts reading what he wrote down.
"Cierra, I want to say that you make me the happiest I ever been. You are the reason I want to wake up early in the morning, just so I can see your face, hear your voice. My motivation to do better. The reason I love you so much is because you understand me. You make me feel whole, and human. You complete me." He breaks down crying and hugs her.
I felt Tom's hand grab my wrist. Our eyes meet.
He glances over at the couple and looks back into my eyes.
"Ditto." He raises my hand to his face and pecks my hand.
I froze. I didn't know how to respond. Million questions rushed through my brain.
Did what Oliver say apply to Tom?
I nervously stand up. I grab our empty plates.
I give Tom a fake smile. "Awe." I stutter. I walk away to throw away our plates. I rushed away and walked around the house to get to the front. I spot Tom's car and lean against it.
I was trying not to freak out. I wasn't scared, if anything I felt happy. But it felt too unreal. I pinch my arm, as hard as I could.
Okay. Ouch. I guess i'm not dreaming. I thought to myself. I could feel tears form in my eyes. I was actually freaking out, in excitement.
Tom was such a sweetheart.
"(y/n)?" Tom called out, he came out the front door and spotted me. He ran over and grabbed both of my shoulders.
"(y/n)? I was scared you ran off." He pulls my body towards him and wraps his arms around me tightly. My weak arms wrap around him.
"I nearly had a heart attack." He squeezes my body.
His strong arms around me calmed me down. I sighed and pushed Tom, to see his face.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you, I thought I was being sweet, but I was being stupid."
"Tom." I pull him for another hug.
"You're not stupid. And you didn't scare me with your confession. If anything I'm over the moon happy." I exhale. It felt better to let it out.
"Let's get outta here." Tom let go.
"Yeah! Fuck it!" We both enter his car.
We drive to our hotels. Before leaving the car he stops me.
"Let's go to my room."
