After my rest I woke up to Ahri's excited soft voice.

Ahri: *quietly* "Y/N! Y/N!!"

Y/N: *rubs his eyes* "hmm?"

Ahri: *points at the egg* "look!"

I walk to the table with Ahri and stare at the cracking egg. a few seconds of anticipation later a small crystal armoured worm-like creature peeks out of the broken side of an egg. It looks at the both of us before cutely growling in a happy way and wrapping around my hand.

Ahri: *giggle's* "It seems our new partner likes you."

Y/N: "heh... it would appear so..."

The little fella then gets off my hand giving me chance to put my fighting gear on. After that it wraps around my neck like a necklace.

Y/N: "The incubation time of the egg was suprisingly short, but I guess every creature is different."

Ahri: "actually... the eggs the slave merchant sells are under a spell that always keeps them just barely from hatching... I heard him mention it a few times when he sold them... the incubation nests are just to dispell that magic."

Y/N: "huh... I learn something new everyday about this world... soooo what do we name her?"

Ahri: "hm... I don't know... what about Razmery?"

Y/N: "Sure. It certainly sounds better than Crysty. Anyway we should get ourselves a breakfast."

-timeskip to the inn-

When I walk into the inn I see Naofumi and Raphtalia along with a little filolial.

Y/N: "What's up Naofumi?"

Naofumi: *notices Razmery* "when did you get a necklace Y/N?"

Y/N: *confused* "hmm? *realization* oh this little friend hatched from the egg. *Razmery wraps around Y/N's hand* This is Razmery."

Naofumi: "She looks too cute for a fight right now."

(Y/N)/Raphtalia/Ahri: "So does the little filolial."

Y/N: "But both will eventually grow to a more imposing size."

-Y/N's Pov-

Right now I am in a abandoned shack working on my project that would be A)really usefull B)real baddass, if managed to make it work. I learned some creation magic and it lead me to learning a spell called perfect remodelling. All it did was reshape a object to my wishes, but imagine if I had like alot of metal and lots of my car/motorcycle engineering experience. Naofumi may think of this as a crazy idea, but I am freaking doing it. I WANT MY CHOPPER MOTORCYCLE. so far I got the wheels, frame and handlebars finished. I just need to finish the motor, exhaust pipe, front and back light and I am getting too much into the detail.

What is finished on the chopper:

I thought I would make this project my priority for a few days, since we, were ahead from everyone and this would later help us anyway, since our adventuring lacked the movement in wider area from the castle. Me, Ahri and Razmery raised a few levels. Now I was level 45, Ahri was 40 and Razmery quickly jumped to level 23. This jump was followed by nearly instant increase in size, now Razmery was size of a larger scarf. I nearly maxed out my rubber barrier mostly thanks to Ahri being careless by rushing into a horde of enemies with just a little magic. Razmery was on the other hand very tricky for her enemies, she would go underground and reappear under them delivering a strong bonecrushing bite. However my thinking of memories was interrupted by Naofumi knocking on the shack's door.

Naofumi: "I see your vehicle is coming up nicely."

Y/N: "Yup it's got wheels and a fuel tank, if I am quick about it, I might have a fast moving beast of a transportation, that isn't just some boring teleportation."

Naofumi: "I might take you for a race, when you finish it."

Y/N: "This baby against Filo. HAH I'd like to see the day she would defeat me."

-timeskip 5 hours-

I finally finished making the Motorcycle. The motor was a difficult part, since I had to think of a alternative to a fuel that wouldn't absolutely terrible idea. Sadly I didn't have much room to be picky since gasoline is something I might never see in this world, so thought of an alternative that uses gun powder and Blast-crystals. Blast crystals were the safest option since I didn't need to refuel and only a slight shock would make the crystal explode.

a crystal growing underground. When hit by electric magic or lightning the crystal voilently releases a strong burst of flames, but never strong enough to shatter itself.

This also rendered the fuel canister useless, but I kept it anyway for the looks. I also made a self-sustaining battery as a finishing touch. I took the motorcycle outside and colour a bit of it black while polishing the rest.

The result:

Building this without Remoddeling skill would take weeks, but thanks to the skill It took just one day to build this. Naofumi looked sceptical, but I was really eager to try it. I sat in the seat and counted to three quietly.

Y/N: *quietly excited* "okay... One... Two... Three!"

I zap the battery with little lightning magic and the machine comes to life with a roar of success. Naofumi dropped his jaw as he heard the beautiful sound of purring engine. I hit the pedal and headout for a ride, going as fast as I can. I saw the speed-o-meter go over 200 km/h (124.2742 miles/h) and I felt the world running past me. After a bit I return to the shack and turn of the engine. Naofumi still stands in the same place jaw dropped.

Naofumi: "How fast?"

Y/N: "200 km/h try to top that."

Naofumi regains his composure as we return back to the village. Raphtalia, Ahri and some villagers came asking to us what was the loud roar they heard. I look at Naofumi and both of us burst to laughter, before starting to explain that I build a machine many people in my world use to travel long distances in a short time. After a few hours the panic they had settled down. We head to the barn with Raphtalia and Ahri and I notice that Naofumi's Filolial grew really fast in just two days.

Y/N: "The age and growth in this world are REALLY off from eachother. Is this really how much she grew in just two days?!"

Naofumi: *proud of himself* "My growth skill might have probably helped a little right Filo."

Filo: "Grwa~"

Raphtalia: *sweatdrops* "You named her Filo as in Filolial?"

Ahri: "Isn't that naming choice a little lazy?"

Naofumi: "Maybe~ but she seems to really like it."

Filo just makes a noise of approval. I smiled to myself a little, before the fun moment was interrupted by the villagers talking about something.

Villager1: *curious tone* "Why are the knights here?"

I walk out of the barn with Ahri and see princess bitchy liar showing off a royal decree saying that the Spear hero is now in charge of the village and soon after that she demands a entrance and leaving toll of 50 silvers. Not just a second after the Villagers start gossiping about how it would ruin their village. I sigh before heading to the place where the shack I locked the motorcycle in was. When I get the motorcycle I start pushing it back to the village, by the time I got back I saw Myne was still not finished with her rant, but this time she ranting about making the shield hero leave. Raising her hand for the knights to take action, but she is quickly stopped by Queen's personal organisation called Shadows.

Bitch/Myne: "Why have you come?"

If it wasn't of the eye mask I would think the one holding a scroll had a smug smile.

Shadow: "For you" *hands over Queen's message*

Raphtalia: "Master Naofumi Who are they?"

Y/N: *still pushing the Motorcycle* "Those are Shadows. An Organisation working only under the Queen's direct orders. They're one of the most important people in the country. Almost nobody ever notice's their presence due to their skills."

Ahri: "So that is how they look like."

Motoyasu: *notices me* "Oh hey Y/N? *notices what I drag and goes wide-eyed* Is that a motorcycle?!"

Y/N: *quietly* "Oh lord have mercy on me... *to Motoidiot* Yes Motoyasu it is."

The princess was too focus on reading and being pissed off to notice my Beautiful chopper.

Bitch/Myne: "H-How could this be- !!" *looks away from the scroll and glares and Naofumi* "SHIELD HERO!!! Fight us for the right to rule this village!"

Razmery was getting irritated by the princess's attitude. I knew, because the crystals on her skin got sharper and whenever she's satisfied she is smooth as skin and when she's angry she is like a hedgehog, once it got so bad I had to pull her off me so she doesn't stab me throat.

Y/N: "The Queen must be putting alot of faith into you to make sure this kingdom doesn't go to hell."

Naofumi/Raphtalia: "huh..?"

Naofumi: "I decline."

I facepalm myself, before sitting on my motorcycle and putting my head on the handle, quietly crying to myself.

Village chief: "But sir... if you refuse this chalange the village will fall into the spear heroes hands. Though it pains me to admit it not even I as the lord, can accept further taxation."

Naofumi: "But why do I have to do it."

V-Chief: "They asked for you shield hero... as a result I don't have any right to challange a Cardinal hero."

I notice Filo walking closer to see the one challanging her. I see a that Motoyasu got a dragon... mostlike a piece of attention from the king. I heard a faint growl from her before I see a fire of anger in her eyes. Oh right Filolials and Dragons have a history of hating eachother by nature. The village chief notices and points it out to Naofumi. Naofumi sadly held is head, while staring on the ground.

V-Chief: "Please we're begging you! We'll give you a huge reward for winning, if you accept for us!"

Naofumi: *raises his head frustrated before sighing* "I just can't make any guarantees that I'll win..."

Y/N: "Hey Naofumi, Motoyasu. Mind If I join this little competition of yours? It'll make up for the fact that we didn't get our fight Motoyasu."

Motoyasu: "I don't see any problem."

Naofumi: "Neither do I. *quietly* The more people put the spear to shame the better laughs for me."

All of us get on the starting line. I check everything on my motorcycle, if it's ok. From corner of my vision I notice Motodumbass approaching Naofumi.

Motoyasu: *acting like idiot* "that is so lame! You are gonna ride that bird thing? Not a Dragon?"

Y/N: *still checking the Motorcycle* "Let me enlighten you Motoyasu. While a Dragon is fairly resistant to damage, it is a creature rather slow thanks to it's heavy scales. In this match the basic physical laws don't work in your favour."

Motoyasu: "Pff as if that thing could ke-" *kick in the nuts by Filo*

I grin as a way to not laugh, but Naofumi and Filo Laugh at the spear idiot's Mis(s)fortune.

Raphtalia: "I have never seen Master Naofumi laugh so much before.. it suits him."

Y/N: *gets in the seat ready for race* "Everyone has their moments where they just can't be a grump, for Naofumi. Getting back at Motoyasu in any way is a very joyful moment as cruel as it may sound, but being around you and Filo always brings his mood up a bit."

Ahri: "You really are observant Y/N..."

After a little bit Naofumi sits on Filo and Motoyasu with a little pain in his balls on his dragon.

V-Chief: "The race will be 3 laps around the outskirts of the Village, Whoever reaches this gate first will be declared the winner."

I heard Myne Cheering for Motoyasu, Raphtalia for Naofumi and Ahri took my side. It was kinda heartwarming to see... except for bitch princess.

V-Chief: "On your marks."

I start up the engine and rev up the engine a few times giving Naofumi and Motoyasu a Challenging stare.

If I didn't scare Motoyasu and Naofumi I scared the knights and villagers, while also earning a few interested stares.

V-Chief: "GO!"

Due to The Motorcycle being on wheels and not legs the acceleration is a bit slow on the start, but soon enough I earn a bit of speed to compete and catch up to Filo and Motoyasu's dragon.

When I got close to hearing range I saw Naofumi speeding up a little.

Naofumi: *looks back* "Hah this will be a piece of cake."

I start doing the most random thing. Standing on the handlebars, while slowly passing Naofumi. His face was priceless, just like Motoyasu's.

Y/N: *jokingly* "Did you say something Naofumi?!"

I backfliped back into my seat and hit the pedal accelerating faster.

Naofumi: "OH CMON!!! FILO CAN'T ACCELERATE BY A SPEED OF A ROCKET!"

Filo seemed to be pleased by the Challenge as she sped up to catch up to me.

Y/N: "Did you say something Naofumi!"

Naofumi: "I guess I stand corrected."

I looked at the road and notice a knight chanting, after a bit a pit appears before me. I barely get any time to react as I use physics to slightly jump with my motorcycle, just barely speeding over the hole, Naofumi on the other hand wasn't so lucky as Filo tripped and made both herself and Naofumi tumble on the ground. I slow down a little just to be fair and let both Motoyasu and Naofumi catch up. I slowed enough to see princess with a dark evil smile.

Ahri: *excited cheering* "Y/N!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!"

After a bit Motoyasu and Naofumi Caught up, but I saw another guard chanting. When he finished I noticed Naofumi and I slowed down by quite a bit. I looked and Naofumi and we nodded to eachother.

Y/N: "If they want to play dirty-"

Naofumi: "We'll show them how much they underestimate us!"

Filo: "Grwoo!"

Suddenly Filo starts running with all her might and I put the engine on the strongest setting. I feel the slowing spell barely holding me back. The spell maybe slowed my current speed, but not my acceleration. While my speed maybe was slower than Naofumi's thanks to a living being speeding up faster than a rolling machine, but my speed built up enough to catch up. Razmery was suprisingly enjoying the fast ride as she looked around her seeing the world run past her extremely fast. I saw that I reached 180 km/h (111.8468 miles/h) and was getting near Motoyasu and Naofumi. I just swish past Motoyasu and Catch up to Naofumi.

Ahri: *jumping around excited* "Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!"

Raphtalia: *happy* "Filo! You only have one last lap to go!"

Me and Razmery grin at Naofumi and Filo, who just grin back and try to outrun us. I was still what they didn't notice was me holding a finger over a button. When I pressed the button I put the danger speed state on. Basically I am activating the Blast-crystals so fast, there is a chance one of the 4 blast-crystals in the pistons accidentally blast too early, breaking the piston and engine as a whole. I was thinking of how to make it safer, but I had no idea for now. I saw Motoyasu in the back speed up a little enough to catch up, but he didn't manage to keep up anymore and fell back quickly. We were back at the place where the pit was. Naofumi was blocking my only way that wasn't over the pit, so I decided to take the leap of faith and believe that my speed is good enough to just 'float' over the hole. I closed one eye and in the second of anticipation... I safely flew over the hole. Then I decide to ride on the wall, somewhat suprising Naofumi as our race was closing to an end just barely by the finish line. In the end though Filo managed to just barely outrun my speed. Now my main issue is... slowing down enough to safely stop. when I was trying to slow down I noticed Filo Growing into a even larger size.

When I come to an Stop... finally. I walk back to the group.

Y/N: "Congrats Naofumi for the First place and you *looks at Filo the Giant* Thanks for the challenge Filo you gave me quite a run for the first place."

Naofumi: "Thanks Y/N I am sure the both of us appreciate your humility and hey Second place ain't that bad, still better than that couple of sore losers." *points at leaving Princess bitch and spear dumbass*

Y/N: "True..."

V-chief: "Sir hero..."

The village chief catches both of our attention.

V-chief: "Again the whole village thanks you very much. We don't know how to express our gratitude for everything you've done."

Naofumi loses himself for a second in a thought before snapping back to his usual self.

Naofumi: "enough about that-"

V-chief: "We don't have the money right now. Please let us have a few more days to-"

Naofumi: "I don't want money."

The village chief looks suprised for a second before relief fills his face.

Naofumi: "I sure don't want any rumours spreading about how I took all your rebuilding funds and left you with nothing."

Raphtalia: "Nobody in this village would dare say such a thing."

Raphtalia being her usual self is slightly naive about the reality of this world.

Naofumi: *sighs* *sarcastic* "You think not?"

V-chief: "But sir hero. How could we propely reward you?"

I saw Filo staring at a slightly beaten up transportation cart, before knocking her beak over Naofumi's head in a way to ask for his attention.

Y/N: "Looks like Filo found an answer to your question sir."

V-chief: *gets an idea* "Sir Shield hero are you interested in become a trader?"

Naofumi: "A trader?"

V-chief: *pulls out a golden card-like tag* "if you are this pass will come in handy. it exempts you from paying tolls across the country so you'll be free to travel the roads wherever you wish."

Naofumi: *takes the pass and tries to sound like a hero* "Thank you this will probably the only way I can help the other villages like this one."

Razmery: *chuckling* "Chirp-chirp-chirp."
