I am currently getting ready for a date which my husband has been planning the entire evening. This time he asked me out. I couldn't believe it when he did it. He seems to be more free here. I'm seeing a new side of him ever since we got here. After our heart to heart talk session neither of us mentioned it again. I, for the fear of pushing him too much and him, probably because he is scared. I know how intimidating it can be when you realise that you are not alone anymore and that there is a person who claims to never leave you and wants to be intimate with you emotionally. I know I have ruffled him up a bit but this was needed. He needs to know that his life is going to change forever and he better be prepared for it.

Anyways, I'm ready. He asked me to meet him at the beach at 8 pm sharp. It is 7.50 already. I should leave.

I reach the beach to see a board with my name on it and a letter attached to it. I start reading it excitedly. It reads,

'My beloved wife Noor,

I have always wanted to take you out on a date at a beach,under the night sky, with the background of waves splashing on the shore and I came to know that this is your dream date too. So what are you waiting for. We are fulfiling our dreams today baby. Your man is standing 50 steps away from you. Just take a right turn and I'll be the one with a bright smile.

Your husband Adi'.

I run in his direction as fast as I possibly could in my high heels.

The moment I saw him, I couldn't stop the awed expression coming on my face. It is so beautiful. Adi standing with a beautiful smile on his face beside a table and 2 chairs under a tent surrounded by flowers.

'Your beauty is beyond words', is what Adi said walking towards me. He kisses me softly and then leads me to the chair holding my hand. Being the chivalrous guy, he pulls out my chair and waits for me to settle down. 'Adi this is lovely. Thank you so much for this', I say barely keeping myself together. I never thought I would live to see Adi doing such sweet things for me.

'I'm glad you like it', he replies kissing the back of my hand. Soon a waiter comes and lays the food on the table and then leaves.

'I prepared all your favorites. I hope you like it',says Adi. 'You can cook. I never knew', I exclaimed. 'Well not many people know this about me. But I wanted to cook for you. Though I'm no chef but I make really tasty food if I may say so myself'. I immediately serve myself some pasta that he made and take a bite. Hmm. 'This is so delicious'. 'So you really like it? I mean you are not saying this just to keep my heart!'. 'Adi this is the best pasta I have ever eaten in my life and I don't think I will ever taste a better one. You know why? Because you made it with love for me. Nothing can compete with it, ever. And you are right. I'm keeping your heart forever with me'.

With that Adi starts blushing. 'And now he blushes. I now realise how wonderful it is to know that your partner is blushing because of you and when you can tease him about it',I say winking at him. No wonder he likes to tease me at every given opportunity. It's so much fun. With that wink, he blushes even more. How cute.

'Stop it. I'm glad you liked my food. Now stop talking and let's eat'. With that we start eating and relishing the food slowly. 'You need to cook more often. I can never make my favorite dishes so good'. 'Well wifey, if you like it so much then I will surprise you with my cooking every now and then. I promise'.

After that, Adi gets up and whistles probably calling for someone. I see a few people holding music intruments, coming towards us. Adi offers his hand to me and asks,'Will you dance with me?'. I hold his hand and say with a smile,'Yes. I would love to dance with you'. Soon the musicians start playing a melody. Adi pulls me closer and keeps his hands around my waist. I keep my arms around his neck and we start swinging in the night.

I once again notice his mesmerising eyes. The very eyes which called to me when we first met. 'Your eyes have bewitched me', I tell him. He smiles and says,'Your personality has bewitched me'. With that we got lost in each other. I place my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes.

This is it. This peace is what I have wanted all my life.

The music stops playing. I pull back only to see Adi already looking at me with so much emotion that it brings tears to my eyes.

'I need you'.

That is all it took for him to say and I was already pulling him in the direction of our room. This is the moment I have been waiting for so long. Tonight I'm going to show him physically just how much he means to me.
