the door to the motel room quickly and threw a black cloak onto Aurora's lap. "Dress quickly, we have to go."
Aurora held up the long heavy cloak, "What is wrong with that I'm wearing?" She asked, looking at her bright pink dress.
"Caius would kill you if you represented the Volturi in that." Jane simply said. "You'll be seeing those Cullen's again, you'll have to show them your new life."
Aurora found her stomach sinking at the thought of the group, "I assume Bella will be there."
Jane nodded whilst re-pinning her hair, "Whether or not she's human still is the problem. I know you're worried, just stay behind me and dont worry too much, Rory."
Aurora quirked an eyebrow at her whilst pulling her cloak over her head. "Rory?"
Jane cleared her threat and looked away from the mirror. "You ready?"
They were walking through the woods in a v formation. Alec and Aurora flanked Jane followed by Demetri and Felix. All five had pulled their hood around their heads, concealing them.
They came to a stop in front of the Cullen's, a fire ablaze in front of them. In sync they all lowered their hoods, Aurora's eyes immediately scanned over all of the Cullen's and Bella. They looked frightened, and rough. Carlisle stood foremost, taking his role of a father figure on easily.
"Impressive." Jane said breaking the silence. "I've never seen a coven escape an attack of this magnitude intact."
"We were lucky." Carlisle excused.
"I doubt that." Jane shot back.
Alec decided to speak up. "It appears we've missed an entertaining fight."
"Yes." Jane agreed, "it's not often we are rendered unnecessary."
"If you arrived a half hour ago you would have fulfilled your purpose." Edward told Jane from beside Bella. The brown haired girl was staring at her friend strangely. She had changed so much so quickly. Her once hazel eyes were now an unnerving bright red.

"Pity." Jane spat out before her eyes glanced to the side. "You missed one." She looked at a young brunette who was nervously darting her eyes between the Cullen family and the Volturi. Jasper moved to the girl in a protective manner.
"We offered her asylum in exchange for her surrender." Carlisle explained.
"I may be mistaken, but that wasn't yours to offer." Aurora spoke up for the first time, drawing many eyes to her. She looked at Jane quickly, seeking approval.
Jane nodded and looked to the young girl. "Why did you come?" She yelled before invoking her power. The girl arched her back in pain, falling to the ground. "Who created you?"
The girl let out an ear piercing screech of pain that could've made Aurora's ears bleed- if she still had blow flowing through her veins that is.
Esme let out a sigh turning to the blonde. "You don't need to do that. She'll tell you anything you want to know."
Jane revoked her gift with a small smile, "I know." The girl on the ground gasped for breath.
"Riley wouldn't tell us! He said our thoughts weren't safe." The girl choked out, clutching at her throat.
Edward thought it best he help, "Her name was Victoria, perhaps you knew her."
Jane glared at this suggestion, Carlisle-in attempt to ease the situation spoke up- "Edward, if the Volturi had knowledge of Victoria, they would have stopped her. Isn't that right, Jane?"
"Of course." Jane said, her face stoic. She glanced back. "Felix."
The burly male nodded, moving forth to the girl. "She didn't know what she was doing!" Esme tried.
Jane stopped Felix with her arm. "Give her a chance." Carlisle added.
"The Volturi don't give second chances. Keep that in mind." She glanced to Edward and Bella. "Caius will be interested to know she's still human."

"The date is set." Bella spoke up from Edwards embrace. Her eyes didn't stray from her old friend.
"Take care of that Felix." Jane said, nodding to the newborn. "I'd like to go home."
Felix stalked to the brunette with a predator like stance, grabbing her off the ground and ripping her apart.
The group turned to leave once Felix rejoined them. Aurora, however stayed put, sniffing the air. Jane turned back confused. "Rory."
Aurora glanced to Jane nodding her head to Bella. Jane glanced at the girl before nodding. "We'll be waiting."
They sped away leaving Aurora. She stepped forward to approach Bella, but was met with snarls from the vampires surrounding her.
"It's alright. She has good intentions ." Edward said, nodding for Aurora to continue.
Aurora took Bella's arm and rolled the sleeve up, revealing her arm, slowly trickling blood. Aurora tore off the makeshift covering and placed her palm over Bella's wound. Bella flinched slightly at the cold touch, but marveled as a faint glow cane from where their flesh met. She dropped Bella's arm, revealing that it was healed.
"Aurora, how... what?" Bella stuttered looking to her friend with wide eyes.
"It's my power, apparently. I can heal people." Aurora said, not meeting Isabella's eyes. "I'm sorry, I must go."
"Why are you with them? They are cruel. Especially that Jane girl! How can you stay with them?" Bella asked, her face showing disbelief.
Aurora gave a small smile. "Bella, Jane is my mate." She hugged Bella for a second, and released her, turning before the human could say another word. She paused for a moment, looking back, "Besides, it's not like you guys put me in a position where I could leave." She sent last one last smile, and sped away.

8 112The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!
8 231Berries, Boars, and a Boy (A How to Train Your Dragon Fanfiction) (Snotlout/OC)
"In a lot of ways, Snotlout is very much Spitelout's son," said Freda. Torben did not need to see her face to hear in her voice that she wanted to say more. "One can hardly help but notice," he said when she didn't immediately continue. "But," she added hesitantly. "In more subtle and quiet ways he is much more my son." Torben turned his face toward the sun, the heat of it warming his skin though his world remained dark. "Even without my sight I could see that. Why else do you think I would encourage and allow his frequent visits here." --- He was brash, cocky, and way too self-confident for it to be real but he had gotten her out of the tree. She was older than him, taller than him, and had an annoying habit of seeing through his bluffs but she had stitched him up. What happens when Sigyn and Snotlout strike up an unusual friendship? And what happens when Snotlout goes away to The Edge with the other Dragon Riders and she stays behind? Will their friendship remain intact, fade away, or possibly change into something neither was expecting? Just see if I don't make a Snotlout fan of you by the end. Story told from both Sigyn and Snotlout's POV.
