Her brother smirked at her "Only because you're afraid someone might ask you to cook... or at least I am."

"Ben! How can you say something like that about your lovable sister?" her hand went across her heart. Maxon was watching intently. This girl did things to him, he wanted to know her but wondered at the age difference? Would she be a student with Anna? That thought didn't sit well with him.

"I'm not... but Rose isn't here and you are." Ben was smug in his reply.

"Oh you..." She jumped on her brother and started hitting into him much to the fascination of the guys watching. Ben was doing his best to block her shots and then he brought out his ace card... "I'll tell them your real name."

Instantly Red hugged her brother "You know I love you right?"

"Yeh yeh.. now get off me." He pushed her off his lap and she landed with a thud on the floor.

"Ow!"

There was silence for just a moment before the three brothers burst out laughing. Maxon got up and offered a hand with a smirk on his face.

"Wow... you know, you're good looking."

Ben groaned while reaching up and pulling her back down to the lounge beside him.

"Please Red. Leave the good looking guy alone, the poor guy doesn't want rabies."

Lucas looked at Damon as Maxon laughed "Were we like that?"

"Hell no."

"If we were I'd deny it."

Maxon looked at Red "So, why can't we know your real name."

"National secret."

"What?"

Red sighed and shook her head "If I told you then I'd have to kill you and..."

"Stop Red," her brother butted in "I've heard that line so many times it's sickening."

"What line?" Lucas asked.

Ben threw his hands up in the air "Oh now you've done it. She'll use it and flirt with him and I'll hear about how cute he is all the way home. Nope. She's not finishing that sentence."

"What sentence?"

Anna walked back into the room with a tray of drinks. Damon got up and took the tray from her and put it on the coffee table in front of them.

"Thank you love. We were just discussing what to order for dinner, although Red did offer to cook and flirt with Maxon."

Anna looked horrified "Tell me we're ordering?!"

"Oh come on, I'm not that bad!"

Ben smiled "Not that good either... right Anna?

"I'm sorry Red but you have to be realistic; the words good cook just aren't in your vocabulary."

"One time! It was one time!" Red went to jump up before Ben pulled her down again.

"Yeh and we'll never forget it."

"I still get sick every time I think about it." Anna said with an upturned face.

Ben raised his hand towards Anna and they high fived.

"So, no problem with her flirting with me then Anna?"

Anna looked over at Maxon and shrugged "I'd be more worried about how you cope with her."

"And again... it was one time! Once! Uno.. need I go on?" Red slumped back on the lounge with her arms crossed while Ben and Anna grinned at one another.

It was obvious she felt conpletely comfortable with him. Damon watched the interaction closely. In one instance it looked like siblings interacting but he knew Ben was involved with the whole deprogramming scene and he couldn't help but wonder just how much influence Ben still had over Anna. He'd find that out shortly and if it was necessary he'd deal with it. No one controlled Anna... she was his!
