《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 47-Questionable Choices

They both left after sharing a knowing look. I just sighed before going back to my dorm too. I sat down at my desk and started working on all the homework we had been assigned. Not too long after, I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it, only to see Todoroki standing there.
"Hey." I greeted.
I wasn't really surprised that he was here, more worried about what he'd say.
"Do you want to go to train?" He asked.
Well I wasn't really expecting that one.
"Uh, yeah. Sure. Let me go change real fast." I responded.
I closed the door on him and quickly changed out of my uniform and into something more comfortable for training.
Once I was ready, I opened the door again and saw him leaning against the wall across the hall. He got up as soon as he heard it open.
I followed him of out the dorms and he took me back to the spot where we had first started to train together. The one where he had taught me to use my ice, not the very first one we'd just hung out in.
We both got into position and started with a few simple attacks. After a little while, Todoroki began to talk.
"So why did you choose my father's agency?" He asked.
My face heated up a little from embarrassment at my mistake.
"Well actually, it was an accident." I responded.
"That makes more sense. I don't know why you would voluntarily work with that scumbag for a week." Todoroki grumbled.
I shrugged. We still continued to train. I could tell Todoroki was thinking about something, and he spoke again after a little bit.
"I mean, no offense, but I don't know why he would want you to intern for him in the first place. As far as I know, he didn't make an offer for anyone else in class, so why you?" He wondered.

"I'm not sure. I guess we'll find out on Monday." I replied.
He just nodded and we continued training.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wiped the sweat off my forehead and looked at the sun, which had begun to set.
"Wow. I didn't realize it had gotten so late. We should probably head back." I said.
Todoroki nodded. We started to walk back to the dorms. We didn't really talk, but it wan't that awkward either. He might think of us as just friends, but for me it was still nice to have these moments with him.
We arrived back at the dorms, and it smelled like someone was cooking. I went back to my dorm and looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't really think about it during training, but I had gotten a lot of dirt and grime on myself. I decided to take a quick shower before heading down to dinner.
After I finished, I got out and dried off before changing into some new clothes. I headed downstairs and saw that Mina and Sero had just finished up putting the food out on the table. Everyone else was starting to sit down, so I did too. There was quiet chatter as we began to eat, and at one point I heard Mina ask Ura where me and Todoroki had gone. They were probably just going to come up with some crazy conspiracy so I didn't pay much attention.
After we finished, Tsu and Ura said they would take care of the dishes so I went back up to my dorm. I sat back down at my desk to finish the rest of my homework.
I started to yawn as I worked and my eyelids began to droop. I quickly finished before turning off the light and laying down in bed. I fell asleep thinking about my internship again.
Most of it is already written, but I'm going through the chapters and editing the shit out of them. This story is NOT a Lit-RPG, so no blue screens or anything of the sort. It is just fast-paced fiction with slight cultivation elements. Updates are bi-daily (so every 2 days), and chapters are 1500-3000 words. As always, feedback is more than welcome. Why are you still reading the synopsis? You have already decided. Go ahead, give this story a shot. It's worth it.
