《Star Wars: Rebirth of the Sith》Chapter 12

There was a violent sandstorm raging on Korriban right over the academy, which had now become a battleground between the New Republic and the Empires Chosen, neither of which could see well enough through the sand to land an accurate shot. But the sandstorm also caused communications to fail so nobody knew what had just transpired above Korriban. The sandstorm also made it impossible to detect any incoming forces.
"Lord Scath, we are about to land at the co-ordinated you have provided." Said the pilot as he brought the ship down to land in the same place that Jadek landed when he first arrived on Korriban. Darth Scath, Darth Luna and four Sith troopers disembarked from the shuttle and went into the cave that led into the rear of the Academy. "This tunnel leads into the workshop of the academy. We can make our way from there up into the main hall and surprise our enemies. The last hing that they will be expecting will be for us to emerge from the very Academy they are desecrating." Said Scath. "Everyone is a target but do not attack until i give the order. I want them to taste confusion, to taste fear, before we end them!"
The made their way through the basement of the academy and into the main hall. Lord Scath reached out with the force and caused the sandstorm to clear.
"Can you hear that, my lord?" Asked Luna. "Gunfire."
"Let's introduce ourselves" suggested Scath.
"Eh captain, I'm detecting life signs from within the academy." Said a Chosen technician.
"That's impossible. There is no way, in that sandstorm, that the Republic were able to get past us and into the academy." Replied the captain trying to assess who the life signatures could be. At that moment both the Empires Chosen and the New Republic soldiers looked over towards the academy as the hooded figures of the Sith emerged, led by Lord Scath. Everyone aimed their weapons towards the academy doorway. "Identify yourselves!" Demanded the Captain of the New Republics forces as their group got up from the rocks that they were using as cover.
The Sith came forward, "I am Darth Scath, Lord of Shadows! We are Sith. This planet belongs to us. You are trespassing and for that you will be punished!" Bellowed Scath as he and Luna ignited their lightsabers while the four troops readied their blasters.
"Open fire!" Shouted the chosen captain and on his order both the New Republic and the Empires Chosen began firing on the Sith. Every laser fired ricocheted of a force barrier that Scath had projected. When the enemy soldiers realised that the laser fire was a waste of time, they stopped.

"Pointless!" Laughed Darth Luna. She looked at Darth Scath and with a slight nod of his head the Sith soldiers opened fire at both opposing sides and their enemies hid behind cover as the Sith troopers moved in behind the entrance of the Academy which provided them with ample cover and a good view of the battlefield.
"Suppressing fire!" Shouted the Republic Captain, just as he was struck on the chest with three consecutive laser blasts causing him to drop to the ground in a heap with three gaping holes in his chest. Darth Luna vaulted over the line of Republic troops, dodging laser fire as she did, and before the soldiers could turn around and take aim Darth luna had already cut two of them down with two slashes of her lightsaber. She somersaulted backwards and as she landed the republic had opened fire again but she deflected every shot with ease before unleashing a devastating blast of force energy that sent them hurling into the rocks with the bone crunching impact killing them instantly. Another three soldiers stepped out of cover and as they did Luna launched her lightsaber and in an arc of purple light her lightsaber cut through the three soldiers and they all dropped dead. SHe proceeded to attacking the res of their soldiers under the cover of blaster fire from the Sith troops.
On the other side of the battlefield Darth Scath was slowly walking towards the Empires CHosen who were firing on his position but every shot was deflecting off him with a force barrier that he still had projected. Out of nowhere he jumped high into the air and with ground breaking force he slammed into the ground in the middle of the Chosen lines creating a shockwave of dark energy that carried most of their ground troops in every direction. The force of the shockwave was enough to kill the lightly armoured scouts on impact. The chosen scouts and shock troopers were facing an impossible task. In a whirlwind of crimson light Darth Scath was cutting his way through troop after troop with ease. Scath was relentless. He was merciless.
"Power up those damn walkers" shouted the Chosen Sergeant. Scath stopped as both AT-AT walkers opened fire on him. Everyone stopped to witness blast after blast. There was no way he could have survived. Or could he? The walkers eventually stopped firing and all that could be seen was a cloud of dust and sand where the lasers were impacting. Suddenly the dust was aggressively blown to wait her side and revealed that Darth Scath was still standing. Unharmed and unmoved.
"Impossible..." gasped the sergeant.
"Pathetic."mocked Scathe. He started to emit an eerie red glow as he was gathering energy. "I am the ultimate darkness! Witness my power!" He roared as he unleashed two powerful bolts of lightning, one towards each walker, completely disabling two fully armoured AT-AT 's. But he wasn't done. He reached out with the remaining energy that he had channelled and there was a loud metallic groan as he raised one of the walkers high into the air. There was more creaking, followed by a loud crack as Darth Scath, through the power of the force, ripped off the walkers legs, one by one and let them fall to the ground below, each making such a thud that the very ground felt like it was shaking. He allowed his destruction to continue as he pulled off the walkers head and launched it like a missile straight into the second AT-AT causing it to topple and explode. In one final act of power and aggression Scath crushed the suspended body of the walker and let it drop toi the ground in a ball of scrap metal.

"This fight is over!" Boomed Scath.
The remaining Republic and CHosen forces surrendered. They could not compete with this kind of power. it was on a completely different level and was unlike anything that they had ever seen or encountered before or were likely to ever encounter again. No one could rival this power. Scath and his New Sith Order were a terrifying and powerful force and were a threat to the entire Galaxy. What Scath wanted was for the Galaxy to fear him. The mask of Darth Nihilus was changing him. He was beginning to feed off the fear in people and revel in destruction. He tried to hide it but it was getting more and more difficult to do so.
Luna had ordered the Pathfinder to land. The remaining Sith had disembarked and so had a handful of droids. The Sith troopers had rounded up the remaining opposition. Darth Scath approached them. As he was standing in front of them one of the Chosen troops caught his gaze. Lord Scath reached out with the force and lifted him into the air, choking the life out of him and said, "You do not deserve to look at me!" As he then clenched his fist and there was a sickening noise as the soldiers windpipe collapsed and he fell to the ground. "The highest ranking soldier from each side, stand!" Ordered Scath. "I will only ask once".
Slowly the Chosen Sergeant and the Republic Lieutenant stood up. "General Luna, take these two men to the hanger" ordered Scath.
"Yes my lord" she replied as she and a Sith soldier marched them over to the Pathfinder. Scath looked at his soldiers "Kill the rest" he commanded as he turned and walked away to the sound of screams and laser fire... and the silence.
"General Luna, call two X-02 starfighters out and have them land with us." Asked Scath. Darth Luna done as she was asked and ran a command code for the two droid star fighters and they exited the hanger and landed beside them. "You will both be spared. You will board these star ships, they will take you to your superiors and you well tell them what has happened here. You will tell them what you have witnessed. You will tell them who I am and you will tell them that the Sith are reborn! Do not see this as mercy for this is an act of war!". Luna removed the bindings from the two soldiers and each were escorted onto an X-02. They quickly took off and left the planet in opposite directions. One heading for Coruscant to the New Republic and the other to the Empires Chosen COmmand Base on Corellia.
Scath turned to address his acolytes. "Acolytes of the Sith, a new day has dawned. Our enemies will soon know fear. That fear is us! That fear is Korriban! We will rebuild this academy and we will grow strong in the dark side of the force. We will assemble an army of droids and we will rise to greatness. We will become the ultimate power in the Galaxy. We will receive the blessings from The Valley of the Dark Lords and we will use those blessings to hone our skills. We will strike down the Empires Chosen and we will destroy Coruscant and every lie that the Jedi Order and the New Republic has spread. And if they dare approach Korriban, we will make them know pain!" Shouted Lord Scath. "We will forge order among the chaos that they have created. The force will set us free!" Luna and the Sith troopers applauded him and cheered. They felt invincible. Under the rule of Lord Scath they were close to invincible.
Darth Scath was becoming more and more powerful with each passing moment but every decision he made was taking him further and further down a very dark path. He was becoming very invested in the dark side of the force and it was beginning to corrupt him as it did to all Sith Lords. Power of this magnitude comes at a cost. What cost would Darth Scath have to pay?

Planet-Eater Reincarnation (in Star Wars)
He wakes up without being able to see, taste or hear. Or even smell! But, after developing an eye for himself, he's able to recognize two facts: one, he is no longer human, and two, he's not on Earth anymore. He's in the middle of an asteroid field, stuck on a moderately large one with nothing around him but endless space. Heck, he's not even in the solar system! And now it's up to him to grow larger and stronger in order to avoid being eaten. Going by the leviathan-sized creatures swimming about the asteroid field, he has a long way to go before he can so much as try to live calmly. ---- Don't let the fanfiction tag scare you off. This only barely takes place in that universe since I like the basics of the lore and nothing more. It will barely feature a single prominent character, and the focus will mostly just be on the main character trying to grow himself out of danger, in the meantime denying the very idea that he could possibly be lonely. The first few dozen chapters will entirely focus on him growing from almost a gnat all the way to a real asteroid-eater. After that, an actual story will appear. Got the idea when I was reading the 2017 Darth Vader comic and my mind suddenly flashed back to that scene in the original trilogy when they're in some asteroid field and almost get eaten by a big monster. I loved that scene, and my inhibitions will no longer chain me. Enjoy, but don't take this too seriously.

8 139Ode to Fallen Angels
Jericho, the land of humanity, squirms in pain. Magic has been forbidden for so long in this so called "Age of Silence", that all Arcane knowledge has been presumed lost and irrecoverable, and the echoes of God's Will grow fainter with every passing year. The sight of Demihuman caravans is less frequent every day, as the likes of orcs and elves have learned to no longer beg for help from those who despise them. Clearly, they can expect more from the voracious wild lands than from humankind. Many have succumbed to despair, some driven mad by their fruitless efforts to bring back a Golden Age that they only ever read about in books. And in the middle of it all, in an old chapel lost in the Eastern lands, young Gabrielle lives in complete ignorance. She is another orphan living under the mercy of the Church of the Saints; one bearing the mark of evil in her red hair, the telltale sign of a Witch. In an Age of the Silent, the Prejudiced, and the Hateful, she clings to a single hope: that one day, be it in life or maybe after it all ends, she may find herself forgiven of her sin. The sin of being born.
