You and Heesung walked into your dorm and sat across from each other on your bed.

You still had wet tears on your cheeks as you and Heesung stayed silent, avoiding each other's gaze. After what seemed like a forever period of silence, Heesung cleared his throat. "Are you feeling better?"

You nodded your head, wiping your face. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for saving me out there." "You're welcome"

Heesung stretched out his fingers and looked around the room. It looked like he had something else to say. He was also tapping his foot.

"You look so anxious right now. Did Jay get to you too?" you asked, laughing a bit. "Y/n, I have something to tell you about Jay and me," Heesung replied. "Okay. What is it?"

Heesung sighed. "So far, you're the only other person that knows this...Jay is my half-brother."

You almost fell out of bed. "Wait, what?" "Yeah, it's true."

"But you two don't even look like each other!" you crossed your arms. "You're not playing with me, are you?"

"No, just please let me explain," Heesung said. "He and I have the same father, but different mothers."

"I never knew who my father was; I only knew from the stories she told me about him. When I was around five, my mother had a disease that was slowly killing her. I was sitting in the hospital with her on her death bed when I saw a strange man walk in."

You leaned in, engaging into Heesung's backstory.

"My mother told me she was going away forever, so she was going to send me to live with my father. I was scared, of course, living with a man I never met."

"I remember going to his home and seeing Jay and his mother there. They got into an argument about me living with them, and my father kept apologizing and explained why they had to take care of me."

"It turned out that he was cheating on Jay's mother for a whole year, and that's why he was apologizing. Jay's a year older than me, and I remembered the way he looked at me when he first saw me. He looked at me like I was a creature from another planet."

"A few days later, my mother died, and it only got worse from there. My new family barely paid any attention to me. I ended being left out from most of their family activities."

"Is that what you created these parties?" you asked. Heesung nodded. "When I got to college, I wanted to become a whole different person. I wanted someone to notice me; I wanted my father to notice me."

"So I started having parties with my roommates to become well known in college. Soon, those parties grew and I had accomplished my goal."

"Why did you start that drunk-dazed thing? I always wondered that," you asked. Heesung shook his head. "I don't remember exactly how I started, but I remember putting white sparkly powder inside of a water bottle and giving it to a girl at one of my parties."

"After that night with her, I craved for more. That's why I drink-dazed every naive girl I saw at my parties...until I met you."

You tilted your head in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"I stopped doing it after I saw the look on your face when you were knocked to sleep. After a few more girls, I got tired of it and stopped."

A shot of pity landed in your heart. You immediately felt bad for Heesung. The only reason he did all of this stuff was that he felt left out and alone.

"You don't need to apologize; you can stay mad at me for as long as you want. You don't even have to talk to me anymore." Heesung looked at his hands. "I deserve for taking advantage of all those girls."

You sighed and took his hand. He jumped in surprise. "It's okay, I understand how you feel." you smiled and he smiled back. "Thank you, Y/n."

"You're welcome. And I have one more question: did you ever get reported for those drunk-dazed incidents?" Heesung nodded. "Yeah. The first girl I did it to report me to the head dean, but nothing happened."

"Wait, why?"

"My father knows the head dean, and he also knew what I was doing, and proud of it as well. So he pulled some strings and made the girl drop out of college."

"Wow," you said as your eyes grew in surprise. Heesung winced and nodded. "Yeah. I wish I could apologize to her."

"I understand that."

Heesung smiled again and squeezed your hand. "Thanks, Y/n. You're the first actual true friend I had."

You and Heesung talked late into the night, about school and personal things. You two talked until Mimi came back.

When she walked in, she saw you asleep on Heesung's chest. You two were laying on your bed, and he was playing with your hair.

Mimi smirked. "So, when are you going to confess?" Heesung looked up at her. "I don't deserve Y/n. She's so sweet and innocent. Plus, I feel like she hasn't forgiven me completely for all the things I did."

Mimi sat on her bed. "Well, you do care for her, right?"

"Yeah, I do a lot."

"And you want to protect her, right?"

"That's why I gave her my letterman jacket."

"I bet she feels the same."

"I doubt it, Mimi."

Mimi shrugged. "Well, there's no harm in trying."

Mimi walked into the bathroom and closed the door. Heesung looked at you and caressed your cheek. "I hope you'll find someone who will take great care of you. You don't deserve me at all."

He lightly laid your head and your pillow and unfolded a blanket, draping it over you. Then he leaned down and kissed you softly on the cheek.

"Goodbye, Y/n," Heesung whispered as he walked out of the room.

Little did he know you were awake the whole time. You wanted to feel his lips again; you craved that feeling. Your face grew hot and red as you thought about it.

I will talk to him tomorrow. You thought as you fell into a deep sleep.
