《Idol War (VKOOK)》3 Days
Advertisement
Hoseok and Jungkook had been spending their last few days hanging out, catching up. Jungkook had been working his ass off for finals and he needed a little break from it all.
And hanging out with Taehyung wasn't going to help take his mind off the competition. Until Hoseok invited him to lunch with them both.
~
"Ah I'll grab another chair, you two can take those seats."
Just as they arrive to the burger place down the street from the Idol War building, the restaurent is super full.
The boys manage to find a two person table, So Hoseok goes to grab a chair.
Taehyung and Jungkook take the seats next to each other while Hoseok drags his chair so that he's sitting beside Jungkook on his left, Taehyung on his right.
"This competition has been quite troubling lately." Hoseok huffs, once he's settled in, grabbing one of the menus.
"Why do you say that?" Taehyung asks, also looking down at his own menu.
"For last two weeks I've barely managed to leave the building. Whenever I leave and start walking down the street, a crazy girl or boy comes up to me asking for pictures or an autograph." Hoseok sighs and Jungkook and Taehyung both look up at the boy.
"And you're mad about that?" Jungkook scoffs, and Hoseok realizes both boys hold jealousy on their faces.
"What? It hasn't happened to you yet?" Hoseok drops his menu to look at both boys seriously.
"Maybe once or twice. But I find the right time to leave the building so that no ones out yet or it's less busy." Taehyung says, keeping his eyes trained back to his menu.
"Same." Jungkook says, earning a gasp from Hoseok.
"Maybe I should have chosen a better time to go out for lunch. Instead of 12:30." Hoseok scratches his head, realizing why the place is so full.

Generally the boys have the choice to bring body guards with them where they go out or not. Usually they do but this time they wanted to have a normal lunch, one that doesn't feel like they're still competing.
However when Jungkook suddenly feels Taehyung's foot kick his own from underneath the table, he remembers he can never let his guard down.
"I'm going to order the double cheese burger! How about you guys?" Hoseok asks while closing up his menu. He keeps his eyes on Jungkook when asking the question.
"Me too." Jungkook agrees, barely even scanning through his menu.
"I'm probably going to have the BLT." Taehyung says, licking his lips as he looks down to the picture f the big, juicy burger.
Jungkook decides now is the perfect time to get him back by kicking his foot for revenge.
And Jungkook swears the boy's lips turn upwards just slightly.
~
After waiting for their meals, Taehyung eventually gets up to ask the waiter how much longer their food will be. His stomach is grumbling and he can't stand to smell the food for any longer.
"2 more minutes sir. Sorry for the wait!" The lady says, bowing as she apologizes. Taehyung thanks her before making his way back to the table where Jungkook and Hoseok are talking.
He sits down and outstretched his foot out till it finds Jungkook's. He taps the boys foot and Jungkook looks away from Hoseok.
"Yah Jungkook I'm talking!" Hoseok snaps as soon as Jungkook locks eyes with Taehyung.
"Ah sorry hyung, what were you saying?" Jungkook asks, nudging Taehyung's foot again.
And they seem to play an endless game of footsie, until their food finally comes to the table.
And Taehyung almost drools when he see's his burger.

"Holy shit." He gasps, picking up the burger with two hands before the other two boys even have the time to look down.
Hoseok looks at the boy with amusement, watching as Taehyung sinks his teeth into the thick burger.
And once he bites the piece off and begins chewing, Taehyung's eyes suddenly shut and he leans his head back.
"Mmmmm fuck that's good." Taehyung practically moans, causing Jungkook to literally choke on his water.
"Are you okay Jungkook!" Hoseok is quick to grab Jungkook's arm, making sure the boy isn't dying.
Jungkook nods furiously, hoping Taehyung is too consumed with his burger to realize Jungkook being flustered.
However even with his stuffed mouth, Taehyung manages that same devilish smirk that he always puts on when Jungkook is embarrassed because of him.
~
The rest of lunch goes well, all three boys manage to finish their food pretty quickly before the fullness catches up to them.
"I'm so full I can't move." Jungkook complains, leaning back in his chair as he looks up to the ceiling blankly.
"Then you're paying." Hoseok laughs, standing up from his chair to go to the bathroom.
"Hyung!" Jungkook sits back up to debate with Hoseok but the boy is already gone.
Jungkook sighs, reaching down into his jean pocket where he keeps his wallet. He doesn't have too much money and he's been getting a minimal amount from Namjoon, which he'd been spending on school funds and necessities.
"I'll pay." Taehyung says, already throwing a few 10s onto the table. Jungkook stops his hand from reaching into his pocket before realizing what Taehyung's trying to do.
"It's okay. I have money Taehyung." Jungkook says, handing the brown haired boy his money back.
"Maybe you do. But I have more." Taehyung pretentiously takes his money back before placing it back on the table. He leans back in his chair and pretends as if Jungkook just lost.
And Jungkook knows he lost, this time.
But he also got Taehyung to pay for their meal so who's the real loser?
