《Idol War (VKOOK)》Round 3-pt.3

All the boys are called back on the stage, and Taehyung makes it just in time for them to walkout.
Jungkook looks at him for a second, noticing that he looks fine. He sighs in relief.
"The acts were all amazing tonight. However we've chosen our distinct winner and that is....Hoseok!" Namjoon announces Hoseoks name all too fast.
The boy smiles brightly and shakes the producers hand, waving to the very excited crowd.
Yoongi, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook all feel tense as Namjoon suddenly coughs, quieting down the crowd so he can announce the elimination.
"We didn't notice any bad performances out there tonight, however there was one that the judges believe didn't fit their standard."
Jungkook bites his lip nervously, looking next to him at Jimin. Jimin seems confident in himself, and he averts his eyes over to Taehyung.
Jungkook looks to Taehyung and realizes the boy might be the one.
And Jungkook also realizes that it could be his fault. His doing.
He begins to sweat anxiously, realizing that he should probably confess. Tell the judges or someone that it's his fault Taehyung hadn't performed as well.
If the boy gets eliminated it isn't fair.
Jungkook looks around him anxiously, realizing he doesn't have a lot of time before the member will be eliminated. He steps forward for a second, then takes a step back into position. Hesitating to speak up, Jungkook bites his lips and looks ahead, deciding to wait for the judges to call it.
Jimin notices Jungkook's strange attitude, whispering for him to calm down and stay still.
So Jungkook takes a breath, feeling his chest getting heavier as the eliminated members name is at the tip of Namjoon's tongue.
"I am sad to say that Min Yoongi, you're going home tonight." Namjoon says and everyone freezes.

Jimin's face drops as he looks over to Yoongi, who looks up at Namjoon.
Namjoon pats the boy on the back, sorrow in his face as he looks at the rapper.
The crowd seems very disappointed, booing Namjoon as Jimin walks over to Yoongi.
He gives the taller boy a tight hug, pulling their waists together. The hug lingers for longer than it should and Jungkook let's out a small laugh when Namjoon tells them to break away.
He feels relived for himself, but sad for Yoongi. The boy was a good companion for Jimin. However this competition is about 1 winner, so it's hard to get attached to someone.
"Thank you and good night!" Namjoon announces, the five boys waving to the crowd before walking off stage.
And when the get off stage, Jimin grabs Yoongi's hand and quickly pulls him away, both running through the exit door and leaving before anyone can say a word.
"That was weird." Hoseok laughs, feeling like he's on a high as he walks next to Jungkook and Taehyung.
"Congrats Hobi." Jungkook says to the boy as he watches him smile brightly.
"Thanks Jungkook." Hoseok ruffles the younger boys hair before walking quicker to talk to one of the cameras.
Jungkook is left with Taehyung, feeling like he should break the silence. He feels slightly happy, knowing the boy didn't get eliminated. However a part of him still knows how close the cut was. How much Jungkook could have costed the boy.
"I'm going to sleep." Taehyung waves Jungkook off and heads to the exit, opening the door and disappearing before Jungkook can even open his mouth to speak.
And Jungkook can't help but feel like even though they talked earlier, that things will be awkward for a while.
After all, they did make out. But it shouldn't matter because it meant nothing. Right?
Right?

I believe in the healing and therapeutic power of writing. And so, I wrote poems. Poems that I want to share with the world. This is the collection of the poetry that I wrote so far. The poems that may be written in the future, after the collection is out, will also be uploaded.
