《JJBA X Reader》Abbacchio: First Sight
Advertisement
This is probably the closest thing I've written to a lemon. Abbacchio just gives off major sexual tension vibes and you can't tell me otherwise. You're 17 in the beginning scene.
Abbacchio's heart has been sealed off since the death of his partner. He beat himself up because of it, and became a drunk. It took a liking to Bucciarati, and so he told you, his first recruit, to go with you to get him. Well, you practically begged him to let you join his squad. He was your brother after all, and he knew what you went through because he had it the same. He hesitated to let you join the mafia because of your fragile nature. Though when you're angered, you're a completely different person.
"Did I really have to go with you?" you ask your brother, clinging to his arm under the umbrella.
"Yes, Y/N. I think that you'd help him warm up. Fugo's no good at that," he replies.
"Ex-cop, took bribe, got partner killed. I think he'd warm up juuust fine," you roll your eyes.
"You never know. I think he's a good fit, just trust me. His home is around the corner," he says.
"Okay..." you mutter and duck your head down, nervous to meet the new recruit.
You two are on the parallel sidewalk when you face the home. Your head is still down.
"Abbacchio," Bruno says, "What's important is not the end result, it's how you get there. Join my team. Don't be bound by your past."
Bruno's words were always so moving. He can persuade anyone, and it was always so cool to watch.
Abbacchio's eyes land on the dark figure that's clinging to Bruno's arm. You look at him at the same time. You lock eyes with absolutely beautiful purple and yellow irises. He's slouching, bleeding, and drunk. You can see potential in him. Lots of it. Now you see why Bruno picked him.

"I forgot to introduce you to Y/N. She's my sister. Are you ready now?" he asks.
Your eye contact breaks when he responds, "Yeah."
He crosses the street, and you hand him an umbrella you were holding.
"You're bleeding," you point out.
"I know."
You huff and cling to your brothers arm while Leone trails behind you two. He was quite the colourful yet edgy man, and it intrigued you.
"What do you think?" Bruno asks in a soft tone, not wanting Abbacchio to hear.
"He's definitely... intriguing."
When you got back to Bruno's place, you brought the first aid kit to where Abbacchio was sitting.
"Hey... I know you don't trust me, so you can patch up yourself. I can help if you want," you suggest.
"Could you? I can't really see where it starts," he asks.
"Oh, sure," you reply, and you get an alcohol pad and wipe the blood off his face. While concentrating on the open cuts, he watches your every move.
"There," you say, "Don't stress too much or else it'll bleed again."
You give him a light smile as he becomes flustered.
Your feelings for Abbacchio didn't change, and neither did his. You'd always be there to patch him up, unless you were on your own mission. He'd worry about you as would everyone else, but they all know not to mess with you when you get mad. Even Fugo is scared of you sometimes.
You play chess with Mista, who you've grown fond of. He's really fun when you guys aren't on a mission. Otherwise, he's just as deadly as everyone else, even though his Sex Pistols are so adorable—especially number 5.
"Checkmate!" you exclaim.
"Awww man, why do you have to be so smart?" he whines.
"Chess is really helpful. It involves critical thinking, something everyone should have. Don't you predict all possible outcomes ahead of time?" you ask.

"I do... Oh, wow. I never thought of it that way. Thank you, Y/N. Teach me more about this and I'll pay you back with a dinner date," he jokes.
"W-What?!" you get flustered, "Mista, you can't say stuff like that!"
You knew that Mista's a flirt, so you brushed it off and took a look to the side. Abbacchio is glaring at you and Mista as he listens to music.
"What's his problem?" Mista asks.
"I don't know. Maybe he's on his period," you joke.
You and Mista laugh out loud, making Abbacchio more jealous and angered.
"Nah, just kidding. I'll check up on him," you say.
You walk over to the sofa and sit next to Abbacchio, staring at him while his eyes are closed.
He opens one eye to look at you, "What do you want?"
You talk back, "What do I want? What do YOU want? Glaring at me and Mista like that."
"Nothing..." he says.
He's made it clear that the only times he feels at ease is when he's around Bruno— whether it be taking orders, hanging out at the restaurant, or fighting beside him.
But what no one knew is that you made him feel at ease as well. You made him feel something different. Something like butterflies floating around in his stomach whenever you smiled, his heart sinking when you talked to any other guy. Nobody knew because he was insecure.
"I know something's wrong, Leo. What is it?" you say. Abbacchio doesn't let anyone call him Leo except you, and it's just one evidence that he fell in love with you.
"Come with me," he says.
(Y/N, I know you feel like this is a start of a lemon you sneaky gurl, but it ain't, sorry 😣)
You nod goodbye to Mista as you follow Abbacchio into the kitchen. He pours you a glass of wine as you sit at the table. He sits in front of you.
"Sooo, what is it?" you ask.
"Do you like Mista?"
You freeze in shock, "Yeah, he's my friend," you say as you take a sip.
"No, like love," he says.
You almost spit out your drink, "Uhh, no. I don't love Mista as anything more than a friend. Plus, why does it matter to you?"
He lets out a sigh of relief, "Okay."
You put down your glass and stretch over to Abbacchio's side of the table.
"I said, why. does. it. matter. to you?" you repeat.
Abbacchio looks into your eyes, and you feel like melting. You kept your composure and stayed there with both of your hands still on the table. Hair falls in front of your face.
"It doesn't," he replies, brushing strands behind your ear.
You slouch back into your chair, thinking. Sighing of relief when you said you didn't like Mista? Glaring at you two while playing chess? Before Mista joined the team, it would be your brother you'd do activities with, but he became busier and busier.
You gasp and stretch over the table again, slamming your hands into it, "You're jealous!"
He gets up and leans in until there's an inch of space between you two, "So what?"
You feel your cheeks heat up, 'Screw it,' you think, and kiss him. You pull away and sit back down, taking a sip of your wine.
He's in shock. You don't seem like the type of person to do that, but based on your evidence it was a unanimous decision.
He walks over to you and lifts you up, "I've fallen in love with you, Y/N."
You smile, "I know, but since when?"
"Since I first met you."
I guess you can say that it was love at first sight.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.
