⚠️ STONE OCEAN SPOILERS ⚠️
I'm sorry for such a sad chapter, I love writing angsty/sad stuff.
Who knew your day would have a turn of events? You were only trying to run errands, but an assassin got to you as you passed an alleyway. You don't have a stand, so you were helpless. You could tell he was trained for killing, so you just accepted your fate. There's a stab wound in your stomach, and it hurts so bad, but you're not reacting.
Why aren't you reacting? Well, Jotaro wanted a divorce to protect you and Jolyne, but you talked him out if it. You knew you'd still be in so much danger because of the Joestar fate, but you accepted it all for the sake of your beloved family.
"I just wanted to go home to my family," you say.
The assassin smiles, "I'm truly sorry Y/N, but I've been ordered to do this to you. Since you're about to die, I'll let nature take its course."
"Wait," you whine, and he turns around.
"Don't touch Jolyne," you glare at him.
The assassin leaves and you're stuck in a dark alley, your life fading away from you. You decide to fight through it and call Jotaro. Your phone rings and he picks up.
"Y/N, I'm at work," he groans.
You laugh softly, then wince as your stomach reacts to it. "I know, Jotaro. But this is important. Listen to me and don't hang up."
"Are you okay? You never do this. Are you in pain?" Jotaro worries.
"Shhh, shh. Listen. I love you so so much, and I love Jolyne the same. You pass my message onto her, okay? And don't leave her side. I'll be home soon. I love you guys so much. Don't forget that." You drop the phone and fall unconscious.

"Y/N?! What the fuck is happening?! Answer me!!" Jotaro rises from his desk and tells his assistant to call the Speedwagon Foundation. He tracks your phone and stops time repeatedly so he can hurry over to your location.
He finds you in the alley and sits you up gently. It woke you up and you knew that he'd come to your rescue. Unfortunately, it's too late. With the last of your strength, you whisper, "Someone's after you and JoJo. Leave me."
"It's okay, you're going to be okay," he assures.
You shake your head slowly. "I love you guys. Go back to Japan."
With your final breath, you smile and close your eyes.
"Y/N! Stay with me!" he cries.
The grip you had on his hand became loose. The hand dropped to the floor.
Tears form in Jotaro's eyes, and he buries his head in the crook of your neck, his favourite place on you. It felt like home to him, and so he closed his eyes. Hugging you like this when he asked you out, when you said goodbye to him every time he had to travel for work; with you gone, he felt like he hit rock bottom—but not quite yet.
The Speedwagon Foundation's ambulance appears, so he picks up your body that's now turning cold.
Your widowed husband sits in the ambulance, tears flowing down his cheeks. He asks for privacy to talk to you, and when he's alone he says, "I'm sorry, (f/pet name). I didn't make it. Your last memory of me was me groaning because you called me during work. I love you. So much..."
Meanwhile...
You wake up. Everything is white, and you're... already standing?
"Where am I?" you ask yourself.
"The afterlife," a voice responds.

You turn around to lock eyes with an Egyptian man in a red robe. "You... I know you," you walk towards him out of curiosity. Joestar-san's stories are real? "Muhammad Avdol?"
"Yes! I am!" he smiles. "You're JoJo's wife!"
"Was. I'm dead, right?" you frown.
"I'm sorry about what happened to you, Y/N," another voice comes from behind Avdol.
You gasp, "Y-you're... Kakyoin, right? Jotaro has told me so much about you!"
He nods, "Guilty. How's Joestar-san?"
"He's still alive, but he's old. Really old. I'm surprised I came here before him," you giggle.
"That's nice to hear. I'm sorry, Y/N. You don't deserve this." Kakyoin frowns.
"I love my family. I'd do anything for them, even if it meant to die to keep them safe."
"And that's what you did," Avdol places a hand on your shoulder.
Tears stream down your cheeks, "I miss them already."
"You'll see them eventually, Y/N. Hell, we've been waiting 22 years for them! But we watched you and Jotaro fall in love, Joestar-san having a new son, and more. We all had bizarre adventures, but it's time to move on," Kakyoin offers his hand and you take it.
~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~
Now, you're watching Jolyne get framed for murder and Jotaro trying to bail her out of prison. You can't do or say anything.
Jotaro's memories are now taken away, and you sob uncontrollably at the torture he's been put through. Jolyne retrieved the stand disc, but now your husband is just a 40 year-old-baby.
You watch Jolyne and her friends fight against Pucci. Weather report and Anasui fall to the power of Made in Heaven. Jolyne's being attacked by knives, and your husband tries stopping it. He fails and gets his face sliced up.
"Jotaro!!" You shriek, your ghost hurrying to his body. You hold him, then let go and quickly go back up into the sky when you see someone arrive.
"Jotaro! Finally here, huh?" Kakyoin nudges him.
"W-where am I? Where's Jolyne?!" he shouts.
"Jotaro?" you say.
"Y/N?" he gasps.
You run at him full force. "I told you to protect her," you clash into him and wrap your legs around his waist. The crusaders smile and leave you guys to it.
"I tried. His time acceleration shortened my time stop. I'm sorry, (f/pet name), I really am." He buries his nose into the crook of your neck. He missed being able to come home and do that.
"It's okay. She's strong, she can do it," you say, but deep down you don't think she will. All you need right now is hope.
You stay in each other's embrace when you feel a third person.
"Sorry guys," a female voice says.
"It's okay. We're all here now," you start to cry into Jotaro's shoulder while Jolyne rubs your back.
"So this is how the bloodline ends, huh?"
Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar. Their descendants inhabit the ruins of humanity, barely clinging to survival, plagued by monstrous beasts and blessed with strange powers. Note: Have not edited it at all yet.
