B/F is best friend
You sit in front of your vanity. Tonight, it's B/F's birthday, so you're going to a nightclub to celebrate. You went with a classy black outfit with heels, (desired makeup), and a thin, gold necklace with a heart locket as its charm.
You pick up the necklace from your jewelry box, and try to put it around your neck. You struggle for a bit when you open the ring.
"Come on.." You mutter.
You fail sealing the two ends. The necklace is thin and frail, so naturally it'd be hard to close.
You stride downstairs, looking for your husband to help you. He probably can't do it either because his hands are much larger than yours.
You hear the noise of a controller in the living room, as well as guns shooting.
"Jooosuke!" You call.
"Yeah?" He shouts back, eyes still on the TV.
You walk to him. "Can you help me put on my necklace?"
"Mhm, after this round." He glances at you quickly, but looks back at you when he sees your outfit. It distracted him, so he got killed.
You sit beside him on the couch, leaning against his shoulder. You feel like falling asleep because of his warmth.
"You shouldn't be playing video games so late at night. It's bad for your eyes over a period of time." You say.
His match ends. His team lost.
"Aw man." He turns to you. "Y/N, my eyes are perfect! And.." He yawns. "Why can't I come partying?"
You kiss his nose. "Because you're clearly tired, and you're a guy. No boys allowed."
"But what if someone tries touching youuu!" He whines.
"Then I take care of them myself. Now help me put on this necklace."

You stand up and give him the necklace.
"Where'd you get this from?" He dangles the locket in front of his face.
You let out a soft laugh. "From you, silly."
"Really?" He asks, and reads the initials '(First Inital) + J'.
"You gave that to me when we were teens." You smile at the reflection in the TV screen.
"Damn, we're old." He jokes.
"It's only been a few years. Cheer up." You laugh.
He notices a crevasse in the heart, so he opens it up. It's a picture of you and Josuke. There's his usual goofy grin on his face, while you're giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Josuke gives the locket a soft smile. "I used to think high school sweethearts weren't a real thing."
"What do you mean?" You ask.
"My mother gave birth to me while she was still in college, and.. you know my dad. He's an old fart, and I never met him until I was 16, so I didn't really believe in true love.." He puts the necklace around your neck, brushing your hair to the side.
Your facial expression turns sympathetic. "I'm sorry, Josuke. You didn't deserve that."
"It's okay, Y/N. I met you, and now I know what real love is like, even though I was so dumb in high school." He clips the 2 ends together.
"Aww, Josuke. You're such a gentleman, even after we got married." You turn around and put your arms around his neck.
"Why should I love you less even after we got married? I love you this much!!" He does his signature grin and stretches his arms as far as they can reach.
You play with the 2 ends of his hair. "I know."

You back away from him, twirling playfully. "How do I look?"
His face turns beet red. "Ah... um..."
You gasp. "Josuke! Is my outfit bad? Tell me!"
"No, no! I love your outfit! You look gorgeous!!" He blurts out.
You hear B/F's car horn.
"Guess it's my cue to leave." You say and peck Josuke on the cheek. You start walking when your wrist is grabbed gently. Josuke's pouting.
You roll your eyes and smile. "I'll call you if I need you, okay?" You lean in and give him a kiss on his lips.
"Okay... stay safe."
You nod and he waves you goodbye from your front door, his eyes never leaving the locket that's swaying as you walk off.
