《JJBA X Reader》Kakyoin: Someone Like Her
Advertisement
"JoJo's mother, Ms. Holly, is a woman capable of calming the hearts of others. People feel at ease around her. This may sound awkward... but if I were to fall in love, I'd like it to be with someone like her. I would give my all for her. And I would want to always see her warm, happy smile."
"Do we really have to go to a maid cafe, Polnareff?" Kakyoin rolls his eyes.
"Oui!! In my time in Japan, I've always wanted to go to a maid café and meet a lovely girl!" Polnareff squeezes his hands together like a child.
The cherry boy opened the door for him. "Ladies first."
"Why thank you, Monsieur!" Polnareff says with irony.
"Welcome to Tokyo Café, how many people?" The host asks.
"Two." Kakyoin replies.
"Okay, please follow me. Your server will be here shortly."
They both look over the menu until Polnareff gets excited.
"I hope she's cute!!" Polnareff squeals.
"I hope I am too." You giggle. I'm Y/N, and I'll be your server for today. Are you guys ready to order?"
"I'm so sorry, Mademoiselle!! I didn't mean to offend you, but you're very cute! I'll take a black coffee."
"Aw, thank you! A black coffee, and you?" You look at the other boy, his violet eyes moving along the menu. You thought his eyes were so pretty compared to your E/C eyes.
"Uhh, cherry tea, please." He was too caught up in the menu.
"Okay! I really like your cherry earrings, sir! I'll be right back." You smile and walk into the coffee bar, Kakyoin watching as you do so."
"Kakyoooin?" Polnareff waves his hand in front of Kakyoins face.
"Yeah?" He replies.

"Why were you staring at Y/N?" The French man raises an eyebrow.
"I guess I just zoned out." Kakyoin sighs.
"Yeah... okay."
You come back with the drinks.
"Here you go!" You put down the drinks in front of them. They were both looking at you, but you weren't really interested in the guy with tall hair. The cherry boy, your new nickname for him, was very intriguing. He's so colourful and not bland, even though he's in his school uniform. You're into fascinating things, and this boy defined it. You smile at the boys once more and walk away.
Kakyoin watches you again as your boss gives you a task to sweep the floors. You accept it with a "Hai!" (Okay!) and grab the broom.
Polnareff sips his coffee, checking out the other waitresses, but he lands his eyes on Kakyoin staring at you again.
"Seems like you like her more than I do." He teases.
A hint of pink appears on Kakyoin's cheeks. "I guess she reminds me of Ms. Holly."
"Well? What are you waiting for? You said you love women like her!" Polnareff punches Kakyoin.
Your gaze turns to the boys' table when Kakyoin yelps. The cherry boi looked back at you, locking those beautiful violet eyes of his with yours.
You give him another soft smile, and he gives you one back. You felt something about this boy. His calming presence made you feel at ease. Everyone probably feels at ease around him. Little did you know, he felt the same way about you.
When you aren't working, your voice is a lot calmer, but still energetic. Soothing but spirited, comforting but vibrant.
You say bye to your co-workers/friends, and walk to the door while the sun was setting.

"Pssst! Y/N" F/N calls out.
You turn around. "Yeah?"
F/N shields their face away from the window, pointing behind their hand.
"I think someone's waiting for you."
"Huh?" You turn to the window, and you see the cherry boi you served earlier today, leaning against a street light. Was he there for you? You couldn't be sure.
"O-oh... okay. See you!" You walk out of the door with your head down, trying to walk past the red haired boy.
You caught his attention. "Y/N?"
You freeze in defeat, and turn to him. "Y-yeah, that's me. And you are...?"
"Kakyoin Noriaki. May I have your full name?"
You politely respond with, "L/N F/N, but you can call me Y/N."
He smiles. "Nice to meet you, Y/N. May I walk you home?"
Knowing that Tokyo is a pretty safe place, you knew that he was genuine.
"Are you sure? I thought you were waiting for someone just now. You don't need t-" He cuts you off.
"I was waiting for you. I wanted to uh, ask you out on a date..." He blushes, then pulls a singular rose from behind him. (this reminds me of joseph joestar pulling that tommy gun out of nowhere LMAO)
You blushed as well. You felt like you've known this man for so long, even though you just met him.
"For... me?" You ask shyly, then reach out for the rose slowly.
You sniff the rose. A fresh scent flowing through you. You couldn't help but grin.
"I love roses. Thank you, Kakyoin."
You decided that red is your new favourite colour.

To Burn a Kingdom
It has been centuries since Gods and Angels forsook the world of Ashaari, leaving its people Faithless and divided as Magic begins to fade. But some of their powers still remain, embedded deep in the earth as rare Gems and sometimes, in blood. Wars are waged and fought over these Gems, for what little Magic they provide. But now, a new prophecy has arisen. The Angels will return and with them, comes Magic and hysteria. - In the kingdom of Illya, Princess Arellia Virtris lives a life of opulence but she is miserable; a caged puppet whose strings are controlled by the members of her court. She yearns for the freedom she may never have but is bound by the prophecy to serve her kingdom and the Faith. But when her brother—the crown prince Vasilis— suddenly arranges an unfavourable marriage, her life begins to spiral out of her control. On the other side of the continent, mercenary Dillon Azshker jumps thoughtlessly from battle to battle. He lives only for the coin he earns and booze to drown the sorrows of his past. Life has left him dispirited save for one last reckless campaign that he hopes would end it all. As fate— or perhaps, bad luck—would have it, on the night of summer solstice, the lives of these two unfortunate souls are intertwined as they find themselves caught in the dark webs of politics and sinister schemes. When they meet and tragedies unfold, their decisions will ultimately trigger a series of events that will alter the course of history. *** Warning: This novel is grimdark and will contain descriptions that some readers may find disturbing.
