《Poems》The 3 Little Pigs

There was a wolf

That I once knew

Whose favorite dish

Was piggy stew

As a child

He was my friend

But then these big 'ol teeth grew in

Now mean and nasty

Crude and rude

This wolf was known

To kill friends for food

Years, they pass

He's out of my life

And as it is said

Out of sight, out of mind

Now college ends

And then I saw

A little house

Made of straw

It really was the quiantest thing

I couldn't help it

I moved in!

My brothers, though

Were rather rich

One had a house of twigs

And the other a house of bricks

So I get a call

From wolfy man

"Can I visit? I miss you, old friend!"

A little surprised,

I exclaim, "Why not?"

"Good," he responds,

Licking his chops

So not long after

I heard a knock

I get right up

To open the lock

But through the keyhole

I see an evil grin

"Little pig, little pig! Let me come in!"

Suddenly, it comes to mind

This wolf, he ain't no friend of mine

"I'm waiting!" he cries

"Let me in!"

"No," I reply.

"Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!"

"Oh well," wolf grins

"You know, I haven't had lunch."

And the wolf began to huff and puff.

But little did wolfy know

As he began to blow and blow

In my house there was a back door

Which I was very grateful for

I watched from a distance

At my brother's twig house

As my beautiful, wonderful house fell down

Where I had gone, wolf didn't know

"Hey, what happened? Where did pig go??"

Out of the corner of wolf's eyes

His vision hit

A little house

Made of twigs

"Piggy, you can't hide forever!

I'm partial to pork chops,

but bacon sounds better..."

"When will this end??"

My brother cried.

"I see you brought a friend.

Dear piggy, you're too kind."

And wolfy, with his evil grin

Yelled, "Porkie pie, let me come in!"

"Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!"

Poor older brother shook with fear

"C'mon wolf, get out of here!"

Eyes ablaze, he shook his head

"A fine meal of piggy I'll have instead."

Inside the house,

I motioned towards the back door

Just as wolfy

Began to roar

We hurried down the street

To our brother's brick house

With racing feet

"The house is down!"

Wolf cried with joy, then

"Where are the piggies?

Where's my pork??"

He wandered and wandered

His stomach growling

And carried on

With his prowling

He came across

A house of bricks

And he saw through the window

The three little pigs!

"Hello, piggies! I've found you at last!"

Delighted he would end his fast

"Little pigs, little pigs! Let me come in!"

"No!" said the brother with the house of bricks.

"Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!"

"Oh, silly pig!" said wolf, patronizing

"Either you come out, or down goes your house.

I'll have no compromising."

"Let's go out the back door!"

Said the brother with the house of twigs

"C'mon, let's go, or else we're dead pigs!"

"No worries, no problems,"

My eldest brother winked.

"He can't blow down

A house made of bricks!"

"Oh no!" wolfy groaned.

"There goes breakfast, lunch, and dinner...

Unless maybe...

I'll climb through the chimney!"

So determined in his heart

With a ladder in his hands

Wolf climbed to the roof

To try to break in

But us pigs,

We were smarter

So we got ourselves a log

And the fire burned brighter and brighter

So the wolf on the roof

Hungry and stoked

Was too preoccupied

To notice the smoke

In he jumped

"Ow!" he cried

I guess we'll be having

Wolf for dinner tonight
