A faint yell woke me from my sleep, I was a person who wakes up from any sound

I got out of bed and opened the door

What was happening? Did someone break in?

No there is alarms systems all over the house

"No no no" I heard sounds coming from the room in-front of me

It's Amelia's room!

Is she okay?

I don't know why all of sudden, I got worried about her so I just rushed into her room looking around to see what was wrong before I found her petite body laying on the bed mumbling things while she's a sleep

"Mom! Please no! no!"

was she having a nightmare?

Should I wake her up?

I approached her quietly and slowly started shaking her sweaty body slowly, trying not to frighten her

"Amelia" I repeated couple of times

"Wake up you're having a nightmare"

"Bryce!" She suddenly yelled tears falling from her eyes

I don't know why but something broke in my heart watching her like this

She had no one,

Not a father, not a mother

She moved here leaving her life behind

And she was all alone

"Amelia, wake up" I started shaking her putting a bit of force before her eyes fluttered open, she shot up, taking few steps back while breathing heavily

She let the tears run freely before placing her face between her legs and crying silently

So I did what she did that made me feel better

I got closer to her and pulled her into an hug, making her tense from my touch but she then relaxed slowly

"It was just a nightmare, everything is okay" I whisper rubbing my hands slowly on her back

"I'm ... sorry" she said while crying

"it's okay Amelia, you're okay, everything is" I said and I don't know for how long we stayed like this before she started pulling away slowly and wiping her tears

She took in a deep breath before looking at me "I'm sorry for waking you up"

"Do you get these a lot?" I asked her

"I used to, but the pills mak-" she closed her mouth immediately when she realized what she said

Pills?

"What pills?" I asked

"Never mind it's nothing" she said

"Amelia what pills do you take?" I asked her again

"Sleeping pills"

"Why?"

"I get nightmares when I don't take one" she said avoiding my looks

She was going through something

"I forget to bring them, I'm sorry" she said hugging her knees to her chest

"Why do you get them?" I asked the curiosity inside of me killing me

"I can't tell you that" she said

she definitely wouldn't, why would she even trust me in the first place?

"thank you for waking me up before anyone could see that and I'm sorry that you had to see that"

"It's nothing" I said "how are you going back to sleep now?"

"I'm not"

"You're not?" I asked her

It was still 4 am, why wasn't she going to sleep?

"I can't let that happen again" she said

"You can't not sleep! Sleep, I'll take the couch if it's alright with you and if anything happens I'll wake you up" I offered

What is happening with me?

Why all of the sudden I'm all nice to her?

"No no! You should go sleep!" She said

"Amelia, I gave you a choice, if I didn't stay in this room then I'm staying on the chair which is infront of the room"

"Okay fine, thank you" she said getting under the cover

"I'll take the couch after you sleep" I spoke still sitting on the bed

We both sat in silence, her just staring at the ceiling and me watching her

Her eyes slowly closed before she fell into sleep, her breath steadying

"What's with all the yelling?" Luke yelled appearing into the kitchen with Marcus

"She's making Mike breakfast but not me" Theo said

"You're the bestest friend in the world" Marcus said hugging her then walking over to me and hugging me from behind "Good morning Mel"

"I'll make you one, I can't take the pout that's on your face" Savannah said rolling her eyes before Theo smiled cheekily

"Morning" Axel said entering the kitchen and his gaze meeting mine before I looked down avoiding his looks

and that's when a shriek was heard coming from Brianna's room, the door was opened

before she and Emma started yelling and running out of the room still in their sleeping clothes

"Ant?" Lucas said before he and Marcus bursted into laughters making Mike, Savannah, Theo and I laugh

Lucas appeared outside, the ant on his hand

She and Emma let out an angry sigh before stomping back to their room

Savannah served us all breakfast, I watched them all busy eating except for Axel who was sitting on the side all alone sipping his coffee

I walked over to him making him look up to me

"Can I talk to you for a second?" I whispered, he didn't answer but stood up and went to the hallway

"Um, thank you for yesterday, I got to complete my sleep without waking up" I whispered

"Can you please don't mention yesterday to anyone? The sleeping pills, the nightmares. Please just forget about it all" I said

I saw some emotion pass through his eyes that I didn't understand before he covered them up

"Okay" he said coldly

"Thank you" I said before he walked away and returned to his seat, I did the same and digged into my food avoiding all the intense looks that Axel was giving me

"Get ready, in an hour we'll be going on the yacht, there will be water activities so make sure to get your swimming suits" Axel said

"Oh my god that'll be fun!" Savannah said

"We're going to enjoy this!" Lucas said

we were seated on the deck of the yacht when everyone was undressing

"Then come on! Remove your clothes and let's go" Marcus said as I removed my dress and revealed the long sleeve one piece swimming suit

Then we spent the rest of the day doing some activities, enjoying our day and ignoring The two evil trashes that were trying to fight us every second they got a chance to

Axel kind off ignored me throughout all of the time, except sending daggers to Mike who actually turned out to be fun to talk to, whenever he got closer to me
