Once the two reach the restaurant Maina the two decided to eat there. Alton eats as Zoilos kept looking at him like he wanted to say something. When Zoilos was about to say something the general finally arrived he sat in the table and ordered as well.

"Zoilos Alton it really nice to be contacted by you two. Especially as the academy was only dragging you two down. Now I want you two to work as a duo in the much harder parts of the mission. Don't worry I will never send you two to your deaths I understand how valuable you both are" the general explains. Zoilos and Alton agreed with his request they work together well.

"I will also give you guys a joint room no worry separate beds. This is because I can't show to much a favoritism the room is big. However, the others under me might get annoyed if I gave you two your own rooms. Everyone needs to share well except me as I am the general" General Laurence explains.

"Makes sense don't worry General Laurence me and Zoilos aren't lowly enough to complain about these simple things," Alton says with a smile. General Laurence smiles at Alton and nods in thanks. He knew how much getting these two work under him will boost his score. Each soldier has a brace that measures how many aliens they kill depending on their score they rank up. When some become a leader of any group they earn points from them as well. Not noticeable at first until a talented soldier comes and earns a lot of points then it's noticeable. General Laurence will be getting a lot from having two killer machines like Alton and Zoilos. It wasn't just for that either it was honestly to lose less of his people. Alton and Zoilos are talented and help a lot in battling and training! He wanted them so he can bring back all his men including Alton and Zoilos home. He hated losing anyone to him anyone who becomes a subordinate is his family. Since they all work and live together for months time and only head back home to their families for a couple of days.

"General, may I ask why aren't you helping in the attack in plant 68?" Asks Zoilos curiously looking at the General.

"I was gonna help but when I heard the Academy tried to kill Alton one of my new people. I decided unless they beg me to help then maybe I'll consider it!" General Laurence says bluntly. To him, lives shouldn't be sacrificed if there was no need for it. Before he would sacrifice any of his people he would put his own life at risk. If he wasn't able to do that himself how could he ask someone else to do it.

"That seems good to me" Alton answers with an amused smile. He liked this general he really earned his seat. He wasn't someone greedy and actually has respectable morals.

"You really are a good general" Zoilos states with a smirk. With a general like this, the two didn't have to fear to be used. Through him, they can get into positions that will give them enough power to protect themselves.

"It's great that you think that! I already added a claim for you two. The academy got the notification by now there is no way for them to claim you now! Let's get you guys settled at my spaceship now. Right now we are relaxing for a couple days as we just came back from a huge mission. Most of my men are tired and healing from injuries they acquired" General says when they all finished their food. The three head to the giant spaceship that can hold hundreds of people. When they entered Zoilos and Alton couldn't help but be impressed a bit.

"I don't have a lot of people under me because I prefer talent over a number. I also have everyone live with another not because of not having enough space. But to have them bond with the other so in the field, they have a partner they can work with flawlessly with. SInce out there is harsh alone I want them to have someone to depend on out there to watch their backs much closer. Before I had everyone watch each other back but it was too much for everyone as some thought another person can take care of it. Now I have this duo thing so they watch each other back I had one as well but that bastard left me so now I'm without a partner myself. Instead, I just fight where ever I'm needed" General explains. This how he improved the family idea in his ship. Many people who they room either become brothers, sisters, best friends and even lovers in some cases. Alton is surprised but couldn't help but approve at the general ideas.

"You are very a talented man your partner must have been an idiot to leave you" Zoilos answers truthfully. He however still finds Alton more outstanding than anyone. The general finally left them alone in their room to unpack.

"Hey Zoilos I want to tell you something," Alton states as he puts his clothing on a hanger. Zoilos turns to him with a questionable look curious of what Alton wants to tell him.

"What is it?" Zoilos asks looking Alton straight in the eye.

"I was thinking back when I went on the date with Tauri," Alton softly says stopping for a bit when he saw Zoilos anger almost seething out of him.

"I don't know why I did that honestly when I already had someone in my heart. When I kissed Tauri I felt my heart break for not having the person I love to kiss me instead. I just wanted to hide the fact that I actually fell in love. That person I thought I could actually get over him but I cannot. He is the only person that I trust the only person I can depend on anything!" Alton stammers a bit before stopping again trying to figure how to say. Confessing is very hard honestly it's very nerve wreaking in all honesty. Zoilos as processing everything frozen then he remembered Leighton trust level words. It was in the lover/family level! He stood frozen did that mean Alton actually loved him and Alton has been hiding it. By acting like he was interested in other people! Zoilos wishing that the person Alton is talking about is him.

"That person is you Zoilos I have always loved you for as long as I can remember. I was scared to ever to tell even now I fear your reaction" Alton stutters a bit. Yes, he hated confessing it official in the future unless its necessary he will never do it again. However only seconds later seeing Zoilos face his heart faltered.
