Dark clouds filled the sky, the thundering was loud and it was raining heavily, this rain was not like the usual one. Such heavy rains brought with them a sign of death and a sign of victory for the dark knight.

This was a routine ever fourth night, when the king visited the dungeons. It was a dooms day for every prisoner who had done wrong for the territory.

With each step he took the clouds roared and the lightning struck on the ground. It was an indication that there would be nk mercy. His steps were powerful and hard.His body moved confidently and steadily.He was gigantic. The aura around him was dark, like a devil in disguise. His heavy footsteps made a clicking sound on the ground. His eyes were drained of all life that he once used to have. Now they were soul less carrying only one aim in them.

Indeed he was a beast.

No one had the courage of looking up into his eyes neither compete with him. The ones who carried the audacity were killed and shredded into pieces..

"Help Me... Plzzzzzz forgive me, for heaven's sake, ahhhhhh no please.. No.no, ple..pleass" The sound of screaming and begging for mercy could be heared till the entrance gate of the dungeons.

With every footsteps the pleading voice became clearer and horrible. The cries and please of the prisoner was so ear deafening that even Satan himself would think of forgiving, but Dominic was far from it. Far from the word forgiviness. Once he was out he wouldn't return before completing the task in hand.

He reached the cell from where the horrendous pleads could be heard. But before he could say anything an old lady who was the wife of the prisoner started pleading to the king.

"Please, my lord, have mercy on us, pleas,,please forgive us. We will do anything that you want, but plz don't kill him"

The king just moved his gaze from the cell towards his beta Max

"Aye... You better keep your mouth shut old lady, no one has ever dared to speak in front of the king. If you don't follow the rules, we have other ways to make you do so."

The old lady with a tired and low voice again looked at the king with a little hope in her eyes. She held his feet and begged for mercy

"I beg you my lord, we will do as you say, spare our lives, plzz my lord, we have a daughter to look for, please she.. "

She started crying as the pain of watching her husband die in front of her eyes was unbearable.

Whereas the merciless king just stared in one direction, neither did he blinked his eyes once, nor a sign of pity in them.

"Your husband betrayed our king and you have a equal role to play in his crime, you wont be spared too"

The lady stood up with all her might as she was all bruised and covered in her own blood and went towards her husband who was lying at the far end with only little life left in him. Even their daughter wasn't spared. She was kept without food and water for days.

She once again looked with pleading eyes towards the king but Dominic looked away with disgust and turned his back towards them.

"I want both of them dead, they should get the most horrendous death one ever suffered. And kill their daughter too. I don't want any of their species surviving. And once they are dead take their bodies and hang it in the jungle,let people know what are the results of disobeying me.

The lady wiped her face and hugged her husband with all the love she could possess, she was shocked indeed but refused to beg or cry anymore, she didn't care about her life but the fact that he was going to kill her daughter to broke her heart more..

With a quick nod to his beta Max the king started walking towards the entrance but before he could move any further the lady spoke again, and this time the king actually reacted at this. She didn't beg for mercy this time. The words that she spoke were of pure hate and disgust. A curse from a dying woman.

"The way I am suffering now, The pain that I am going through, one day you will go through the same pain. Your soulmate will be lying in front of you half dead and you would be screaming for her life but no one will be there to help you. You would want to do anything and everything in your control to bring her back to you but she wont come back. And that day i would rest in peace and that day..-"

Before she could say anything further her head was separated from her body. And the same was followed for her husband.

It was the same for all. Each and every person was aware of this heinous act that was committed in the name of punishment. In order to save their life they did as they were told to.

Drak clouds still scattered in the air showing the signs of evilness everywhere. After punishing the sinners Dominic should have been at ease but things were totally opposite. He was restless and first time in ages he was a little scared for the coming future. The only question that thundered in his mind was why did they curse him and what would happen if it comes true.

"Nooo!!! I cannot let this happen, but chances are thin, because I know there wont be any soulmate in my life ever.."

"Whyyyy?" his wolf growled lowly from his inner mind.

Dominic's wolf Drew who was shattered to such an extent that he didn't even feel like surfacing in front. But it was these lonely ness that killed him sometime and made him grieve in pain.

"Why?" What do you mean why? Huh, after everything that happened how could you still hope for such thing. I suggest you stay where you are supposed to be" he mindlinked his wolf to stay quiet.

It was not like Dominic wasn't aware of Drew's pain after all it was his wolf, his own inner self. He felt everything that his wolf suffered. Afterall It had been two hundred years and yet they were not able to find their mate and after a certain period of time Dominic felt it was better to give up then to prolong his wait. Not able to suffer his wolf's grief Dominic shut him off completely from himself.

The pain of loosing someone was still fresh in his heart. He knew how it felt like being alone without any support or care. He didn't have much strength to take that over himself anymore.

It was on his 11th birthday that Dominic's loneliness was reduced a little when he got his wolf. Drew was the only one with whom he could share his pain and his agony. But it was not to long when Dominic decided to shut him from himself also.

Drew and Dominic were both similar to their habits. They both weren't expressive neither did they talk much. Completely aggressive in nature. So when Dominic shut his inner thoughts Drew didn't ask any question in protest instead he kept quiet too.

They knew anger was their strength and it was only through their beastly nature because of which everyone feared them. His wolf was his strength but he refused to realise the mere thought that his mate would be his weakness .

Knowing he wouldn't have a mate ever made him more furious which both more deaths and destruction. He wasn't afraid of anyone or anything. He killed men, women and even children without any remorse.

"King, there is an emergency"

Dominic's Beta mind linked him about the current emergency.

"What!! What happened now?"

"There was an attack of Rouges on the border line of our territory"

"I am coming don't let them go anywhere , how can this even be possible"

With a growl and heavy footsteps he rushed towards the territory.

"Max!!!!" He roared with so much anger that the birds and animals started making noises with fear.

"Where are the trespassers ?"

Max stood there like a statue as he wasn't able to utter a single word.

"Alpha, they- we- almost-" he stammered

"Wh-en they- attacked- we almost caught the-m but -

'But What? Hhuh?? Tell me? He roared with so much anger.

"Alpha we- we were almost there but don't kn-ow how we

"Then what you good for nothing morons what the hell happened ?"

"They succeeded in trespassing towards the neighbouring territory, we weren't able to catch them"

He was so scared that of his Alpha's anger that he was ready to piss his pants out of fear. Max knew the consequences of defying him. Even if the Alpha trusted him he knew he was going to be punished.

Everything went silent for two minutes no one dared to speak. It was calm as if nothing happened at all. Suddenly there was a huge roar and all the tress fell in a roar .

"What the hell!! How could you let this happened. No one and i mean it no one has ever been able to escape my Territory alive. Who were they?? Did u see them?

"N-no Alpha but we are trying our best to find them sooner"

Dominic was furious would be an understatement.. He caught Max by his collar and spoke to him.

"You!! Listen to me very carefully Max. If you fail to find them, don't think that you will be able to see the next morning alive, You will be responsible for your death. " He pushed him behind which left him tumbling towards the ground.

He then glared at all the other guards standing with their heads low in shame.

"This is the last time I will repeat myself, Just imagine the consequences, if I wont spare Max being the Beta , then you people are in a deep shit, I hope you wont let me down "

He walked towards his castle with rage and fierceness in his eyes..
