Something short to start with the return.

Omniscient

"I can't do it, that whole family is fucking crazy. I wish you would have told me... She's a Jones now? They're going to war behind her! They'll kill me and you."

The Jones were an internationally known family, their name rang bells in every State. Illinois being one, NC being two. She didn't know how she ended up getting tied to Monét Jones but she did.

Although she was a therapist, her checks weren't enough to fund herself and her grandmothers hospital bill. So when Donovan Mitchell called her with a deal, she couldn't help but to take the money.

Donovan was blurred by the sixth deadly sin, envy. He hated the Jones family, specifically the one that resides in his City. He watched the women flock to him, he watched the beautiful woman he sported on his arm. Portia was the one woman he'd crushed on for years and she finally gave him a chance, Deondre Jones stepped in and took her away from him. It was just a coincidence that his younger sister was connected to one.

He secretly couldn't stand Monét either, she was the Princess. Her father stuck around, she did well in school while he dropped out. She had awards plastered throughout the house, she was the senior class president. She was the baby while he was the oldest. He had to take care of his siblings while she got to get away with many things that he couldn't at her age. He stayed broke while she sported designer on Instagram.

From the outside looking in, Monét life was perfect, but he had no idea how she ended up with the last name Jones.

Don would consider himself lucky when he found her therapist. Coming across her laptop that she left in her old room, he looked at her google search only hoping to find something that could destroy her life. He had hit the lottery when he found out that she was now going to Dr. Smith who had a gofundme for her grandmothers hospital expenses. He had the perfect plan.

Dr. Smith had no idea that Donovan was broke, she figured he had came up whenever Monét had came across money. In reality he might've been the brokest out of each of his siblings.

"You do understand that these people have no remorse for anyone. I'm out and I'm going to tell Monét." She panicked, she was scared to even have the conversation with Don. She didn't know his ultimate goal and how this ended but she knew that she didn't want to be the reason anyone got killed.

"Bitch, I will kill you and your grandmother. Keep your fat ass mouth shut." Don anger blasted through the phone. "Continue your therapy sessions, continue gathering information for me and get her to talk about that evil ass family."

Donovan was praying that he didn't have to resort to murdering Dr. Smith but he would do anything to protect himself. He had a lot planned but it would shortly be interrupted, Melissa on the other side of the door heard everything that Donovan had said and however Monét decided to handle her brother after would be between the two. She wasn't going to address Donovan. He clearly wanted blood and she didn't know what he would have done if she stated she was going to tell Monét.

His screws weren't too tight.

She had to protect her little sister by all means.

Monét questioned the text message her sister sent, they had just reached home from Charlotte and she felt so much better.

Meme💖: I'm coming to Chicago, ASAP. Can't tell you over the phone.

@noelle.xo: falling back, having a baby, you know. Doing the mother thing, doing the wife thing.

Gathering the money from in front of her, she walked out rubbing her stomach in circles. She smiled when she seen Mael sitting on their bedroom balcony.

Walking outside she bit down on her bottom lip. He was already attractive to her, and her pregnancy hormones just shot it up to another level. She always wanted to have sex.

"Welcome to Joseline's Cabaret." Monét leaned forward kissing Mael on his lips before she found comfort between his legs, resting her head on his chest. His arms linked around her, he rubbed her stomach. She loved moments like these. It was when she was at peace.

Closing her eyes, she thought about how far the two had come. The good, the bad and the ugly.

"I love you."

"I love you too." The sound of the doorbell made her jump up. "Thats the food."

Samael jumped up after her following her downstairs. He was high as hell and starving. When she opened the door she frowned at Dom.

"I have a question, when y'all got out of the car the other day and my old man was right here why was y'all being rude? Cause that right there made him cry all mother fucking night."

"Why are you here? We literally just got back from a trip together. Can I spend time with my husband?" Rolling her eyes playfully, she laughed.

"I want you to put me out!" Dom mimicked her.

"Go to Hell you son of a bitch." Jayda walked up squeezing past the couple into the house. Dom following behind her.

"One thing about these two is they gone find a way into this house."

"I'm glad y'all decided to wait to go on the honeymoon. I don't know what I'd do with y'all two gone for that long." Jayda sighed

Samael shook his head and pulled Monét towards the steps. "We going upstairs. Leave us alone."

"You really bout to leave me down here with crazy? WHY YOU BEING WEIRD TA ME?!" Dom shouted, Monét busted out laughing. Dom and Jayda spent most of their relationship joking on each other and it worked for them. They fit together like a puzzle piece. Jayda needed someone as goofy as she was and Dom was that perfect one for her. She was happy she gave him another chance.

"Shut up pussy." Jayda smacked his chest, disappearing off into the kitchen to find something to eat.

Samael mug never disappeared from his face, while the two walked upstairs. "Your cousin is funny as hell to me."

Mael shook his head pulling Monét onto his lap as soon as he took his spot on the bed.

"I don't know how I was able find the most beautiful woman in the world but I did, and I thank Allah. I'd give my life to guarantee your happiness." Samael rubbed her stomach.

"I wouldn't ever be completely happy if you were no longer here in my life. I know I tell you this a lot but you've helped me grow. We both still have a plethora of things to work on. We're mastering peace until our life is a masterpiece. I love being in love with you. I love sharing these little moments with you and when our baby gets older, we'll be able to share the good memories, we might have to put the bad into the closet cause we do be going at it like Ike and Tina." Monét laughed kissing Samael. Her lips always found a way on his.

The stare between the couple was intimate like they were reading each other and they were doing it so well. They allowed themselves to get comfortable, to be vulnerable and that's when they became their strongest selves, together. They felt safe with each other. Never wanting it to end.

"Nah, y'all finna make a nigga cry. Y'all food here though."

Monét rolled her eyes standing up from Samael's lap.

growth and happiness.
