Monét sat in the room she originally occupied, the lights were turned off and open my heart by Yolanda Adams played on her speakers. She didn't have Samael in the house to distract her, and honestly being alone is what she needed.
"Alone in a room, it's just me and you. I feel so lost, I don't know what to do"
It was happening and Monét was shutting down. Everything that she accepted was causing this ticking time bomb to explode. The tears ran down her face quickly.
Her mind wouldn't stop racing, her thoughts were moving a mile a minute. She couldn't pinpoint exactly what was bothering her more in her life but it was like everything was piling up.
"My hopes and dreams, are fading fast, I'm all burned out and I don't think my faiths going to last."
Monét felt her mustard seed of faith growing smaller and smaller. Her faith in the man above was slowly but surely fading and holding on by a thin strand. She wasn't feeling like one of his strongest soldiers and she didn't know who she needed to talk to, to relay the message.
"Why me?" She wiped her tears, she couldn't understand why from adolescence she had trauma piled on her life. She knew her trauma wasn't her fault, but healing was her responsibility. The emotions hit her at once.
Standing up from bed, she slammed the nearest mirror on the ground hearing it shatter. Her loud screams were heard throughout the room "WHY ME?! WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO SO BAD IN LIFE?!" Knocking the contents from the dresser on the floor. She made her way into the closet.
"I CANT HAVE A NORMAL FUCKING LIFE! THEY CANT HAVE ALL OF THIS SHIT!" The Christian Louboutin flew into the mirror in her closet, the sound of it shattering was music to her ears "TAKE IT BACK! TAKE ME BACK!" Tearing the clothes from the rack.
"You think you can buy me with gifts? Fuck you." She looked around deciding what she could break next to release her anger. Slipping her feet into her Chanel slides she walked out of her closet, leaving the messy room she walked downstairs to the kitchen.

"YOU DON'T GET TO CONTROL ME!" Monét cabinets swung open looking for his bottles of liquor, grabbing the nearest Patron bottle she popped the top off, tilting her head back she filled her mouth up with Patron repeating the process until she felt her body getting hot. "You think you can take me and make me marry you?! NO." Smashing the plates onto the ground, with every shatter she felt a sensation go through her body. Grabbing the Patron bottle she took more swigs of it until she felt drunk.
"Alexa, play Sober by the Sonny with a Chance bitch" burping she looked at the counters fighting back and forth to see if she wanted to climb on them. "Nope" grabbing the Patron bottle she drank poured the strong liquor into her mouth, until over half the bottle was gone.
2. Sadness
"ALEXA! PLAY SOBER BY DEMI LOVATO." Looking around at her mess, she hit her bottom lip. "I don't want to be here." Dragging her feet to the couch she laid across it.
"Monét!" Samael walked into the living room, seeing a drunk Monét on the couch."Noelle. What's wrong?" Pulling her hug she broke down in his arms.
"Why am I here?" She spoke above a whisper.
"I already told you—" Monét shook her head cutting him off
"Why am I alive, I didn't ask to be here. I can't remember a moment in my life where I've felt pure happiness, I mean I felt a glimpse of it with us but it was overshadowed by the fact that I'm here to simply be your wife. I've felt pain, I've been hurt, betrayed... you hurt me Samael, when you took me from my life and you put me out for Yolanda..." Screwing her face up, she tilted her head to the side and thought about it.
"you'on know no damn body named Yolanda. That Y named bitch. Ya- Yanna. Got damn, ion even remember what her mama named her. No apology can make up for that and no amount of good dick... My daddy was my first love, technically by psychology and of course not in that way..." her mind trailed off before she began talking again "you know, my mama told me that he was so happy to have me. My brother was a crack baby... but the only reason he wasn't on drugs with me is because he had just got out of timers when they conceived me. She said he showed to every appointment, cut my umbilical cord, the whole nine yards, but then he left me." She chuckled lowly.

"Then my mama left me and she give me many memories to remember her by. Now she's in the fucking loony bin! BECAUSE OF A MAN! SHE'S WEAK, SHE'S FUCKING WEAK!" Her lip quivered and she looked away "You know how fucked up it is, when people ask you what's your biggest fear and to respond that you fear ending up like my mother. Here you go not giving me a fucking choice but to accept the mean and trifling shit you did. Threatening me with death. You know what? Do it." She stared him in the eyes. Her compartment was slowly breaking and she had no more "I forgive yous" in her storage.
"Y'all are sick and trifling. Y'all snatch women away, y'all took Jayda from her family. Lucia and Dess walk around here flaunting and prancing, you got Dess ass on social media, saying she fell in love with her fucking abuser! YALL ARE NOT LAW AND ORDER! You won't stop this shit because you don't want to lose your empire. MONEY OVER MORALS AND THATS WHERE YOU BECOME A TRASH ASS PERSON." Her voice grew hoarse from the crying and yelling.
"It's not only about money, it's my family." Samael pleaded his case
"Oh, I've met your family and they're not that great." Bouncing her leg, she pushed Samael away from her. "You talk about family this and family that. Okay? Dess and I come from a fucked up family, we're not missing shit. If we go back, we're going back to nothing. Additional trauma? Whatever, been there, done that. Jayda? What about her family? She has them too. That love and care for her. Let her go."
"You know I can't do that." Samael sighed, running his hands down his face.
"Y'all are scared she's gonna go tell everybody and they mama about the Jones'... you know what? Maybe she should. Cut this the fuck out. She has a mother and father that loves her, that wants her home with them. She's never going to adapt to this like me, Dess, your mom..." Samael sat staring at her, not giving a response.

"I miss him so much." Her eyes scanned the room. "I watched him get sicker. First the shopping sprees stopped, I never thought anything of it. It's him money, I can't change that, then his weight loss. He got so skinny and his change started catching up to him. He still found ways to joke with me. Every time he went to the store and I'd ask for something he would buy it and charge interest for every smart remark I said. I'd never pay him but the Snickers candy bar would go from 1.50 to 200 dollars quickly. It was like our little game" her laugh turned into a hiccup then a burp.
"and I lost both parents that night." Shaking her head she felt like she was done talking about her past life. She wanted to put it behind her, she was clearly never going back to that life and could make up the childhood she dreamed of and no one but Samael would know her truth.
"I'm so sad Samael. Just hurt, sad and depressed."
Samael held her tightly, he didn't think that this would come with snatching women away. He only thought about the perks that he'd receive and not the pain the women would encounter. He could've let Monét go at this very moment, but for his own selfish reasons, he didn't want to be without her. He'd grown so fond of having her around he never wanted to let her go.
"You can leave right now. I'm going to let you go... then I'm going to call Dom and I'm going to tell him to let Jayda go back to her family. I don't know if she's going to talk but, shit... I'll face what I have to, I just don't want anyone else to get hurt."
Monét thought about it. She stood up and walked to her room, she had a chance to be free. She wanted to smacked herself mentally for questioning if she truly wanted to leave Samael.
After all the pain he'd caused her, was this the end? Did she really want to leave him?
She had a decision to make in the morning, a decision that would keep her up all night.
