Short chapter 😛

The loud banging woke Samael and Monét up from their slumber. Samael quickly grabbed his gun from the night stand, jumping out of bed. He couldn't figure out who the hell was crazy enough to break into his house but he was ready to show them that he was crazier.

"Go hide." He whispered to Monét, she rushed into his walk in closet hiding behind clothes. The black velvet box immediately fell out of his jacket pocket. Raising a brow, she picked it up opening it. She was filled with rage. If the person downstairs didn't kill him she was guaranteed to do so.

Samael creeped downstairs, pointing the gun at the person. Realizing it was Yanna that entered his house he sucked his teeth turning the lights on. "Fuck are you doing here?"

Samael was serious when he said he'd stopped talking to Yanna, he didn't want anything like this to happen again. She had been blowing his phone up from different numbers but he just ignored the messages, blocking each one that had came through. His block list was filled and it was all due to Yanna.

"I seen that your bitch is back. That's why you've been ignoring me for these months?" She was pissed off. Samael rubbed his forehead, making a mental note to change the code on his front door.

"How do you even know this?" He side eyed her, never seeing Yanna act like this before. Truth was for once she had been lurking. She was having a normal girls night with her best friend when Dess posted a picture with the caption "My favorite bitch is back." She wasn't aware she actually left in the first place, but now that she knew he was home she was determined to get the bitch put out again.

"None of your fucking business. Why is that bitch back after you told her to leave! Stop playing with me Samael get that bitch the fuck out!" She screamed, Monét became skeptical hearing the woman's voice she slipped on one of Samael's shirts walking downstairs, she smirked.

"Baby, it's 5 am. Put her out and let's go back to sleep."

"Don't forget the bitch he put out the last time." Yanna laughed, as if that would hurt Monét's feelings.

"and that's why the months you spent stressed about why he wouldn't call you, he was worried about why I wasn't calling him. I also have the ring, the house and the man so in conclusion you were a place holder until he found the one he actually wanted to marry. Samael, put her out NOW." Monét smiled at Yanna waving her hand.

"Like I said before, I will beat you the fuck up." Yanna bucked at Monét who stood unbothered, even letting a yawn slip from her lips. Samael decided to break the argument up before Monét beat Yanna ass like she did him months ago.

"You heard my fiancé, get the fuck outta her house. You disrespecting her in her own home. You know I don't take disrespect too well Yanna. Bye." Samael had made a decision, it was Monét or Yanna and he wasn't making a mistake of losing her again.

Feeling undefeated, Yanna left his house in tears. He almost felt bad for her but the feeling quickly went away. He realized he wasn't holding onto the young and careless Samael and that's why he kept Yanna around but now he was a Kingpin and he had to grow up.

"Now, onto you. Why was there a ring in your jacket pocket? You was looking for a new Wife?" Monét hand was on her hip and Samael couldn't help but to smile at how beautiful she look.

"Nah, but, I'm mad you ruined my surprise. Since you already found it... I had bought this ring about the second month that you were gone and I couldn't stop thinking about you. My mom was also in my ear every five minutes about finding her Monét. I went to the jewelers one day to buy a new chain... while I was there I felt like you would need a new ring for when you got back. The one I placed on your finger the first time, it didn't have any sentimental value. It was something I picked for show. I put a lot of thought into this ring and it took me over two hours finding one that I thought would be perfect for you. I don't know how this arranged marriage is going to go, but I'm willing to make the best out of it with you."

Monét found herself getting teary eyed, she never had any man out much effort into buying her anything.

Samael laughed at her, Monét was definitely an emotional person. They both knew they were still getting married because they had no other options and if they could stop the marriage they would without a doubt but the night he grabbed her, he promised her the wedding of her dreams and didn't follow through.

"A nigga not used to being on this soft. I don't know. I'll give this shit a try. Uh" scratching the back of his neck he tugged at the end of his braids. Clearing his throat.

"We in this here and it's like a lifetime commitment. I again, apologize for all that shit that happened when you left. This whole arrangement is crazy. We both forced into this marriage shit. If there was a way that we could ease our way into this marriage, I would take each of those steps man, but we can't and I'm sorry for that. We should be able to grow from the beginning. We getting married and then discovering each other. Figuring out our flaws, dislikes, likes, what makes us happy shit like that."

Monét raised a brow wondering when he was going to put her ring on or if he was going to keep playing with her but she was getting very impatient.

"Noelle, we're here and we gotta do this...The night that I first snatched yo ass up, I agreed to let you plan a dream wedding, but, I haven't really played my role in all of this." Sighing he got on one knee,

"Monèt Noelle Mitchell, thank you for marrying me." They both laughed as he slid the old ring off and placed the heart shaped ring on Monét's hand. Standing up she kissed him. Though it didn't seem like much due to Monét not having a choice but to marry him, she appreciated the lengths that he was going to stay on her good side.

"It's beautiful Samael..." she smiled grabbing his hand so she could guide the both of them upstairs.

"pack up ma... we're going to Turks and Caicos. This the honeymoon before the honeymoon. Wheels up in 6 hours." Samael joked causing Monét to burst out laughing. She knew that Samael liked Criminal Minds on the low, she knew it was just a facade when he said "I don't fuck with this 12 ass show. I'm a criminal baby, fuck I look like watching this."

She was taking her first trip out of the country with her Fiancé. God was working in mysterious ways.
