I'd settled in pretty quickly, his parents were super nice. Every day, Clay drove me to school, and we had a lot of classes together.
We were approaching the end of senior year quickly, and I wasn't dreading graduation for once. Even though I'd tried to convince them out of it, Clay's parents were paying for me to go to university with him. I was beyond excited, even though I did feel bad.
Nick and Karl, unsurprisingly, dropped the bomb on us one day that they were dating now. We'd all congratulated them, even though it was prettt obvious already.
As summer was approaching, I was steadily regaining my strength and putting on weight. Clay's mom was a really good cook, so it would've happened anyways.
All in all, life was good. I was living with, and also dating, the most attractive and nice guy I knew, and I wasn't homeless anymore. What more could I ask for?
