That night I sat and wondered what on earth would Ron be up to that he wouldn't want me to know. We weren't exactly close but it wasn't like him to run away at the sight of me, something just didn't sit right.
"What are you deep in thought about?" Pansy tilted her head.
"Nothing really, it's just I saw ron earlier and I shouted out to him and he blatantly ignored me like I wasn't even there. It was so odd, he literally put his head down and scooted off away from me." I moved myself to the edge of the bed to be opposite Pansy.
"Ivy, he's a Weasley of course he acts weird" she laughed at herself as she swung her legs around onto her bed.
"Hmm maybe but something just felt off. There's weird and then there's running away from me for no reason and the more I think about it the more I keep thinking how weird Harry's been recently. Have you noticed anything strange?"
" The day I concern myself with their group's problems is the day I've truly lost it. No offence it's just I'd rather use my wand to poke my eyes out than spend five minutes with any of them" she chuckled again.
I sniggered at her comment, even though it was mean it was just funny coming from her. Maybe not all true after that possible revelation we had with Harry. My head was spinning from my own questions, I picked up a book and decided to take sometime to escape to another world.
"I'm going to go to the common room and read a book, do you want to join?" I turned around to Pansy as I grabbed the door knob.
"No I can't, Flitwick has us doing some weird music reading I don't understand". She huffed in annoyance and went back to her work.

I nodded and smiled and made my way down the corridor but before I could reach the end I heard whispering, at first I couldn't work out the voices.
"They are definitely somewhere, we just don't know where"
"Well obviously Crabbe, why are you such an idiot"
"Sorry Malfoy"
It was Crabbe and Draco, but what were they on about.
"Are you sure they weren't in the Forbidden Forest?" Draco whispered.
"Me and Goyle checked twice, we couldn't of gone any further in and they definitely wouldn't of done."
I knew I was staying away from Draco but I was dying to know what they were talking about and if it had anything to do with what happened earlier with Ron. I was so conflicted do I walk away and pretend like I never heard anything which was definitely the easier option or do I ask Draco which goes against everything that I'd promised myself. We hadn't spoken in weeks and yeah maybe I didn't feel good for it and yes maybe I still thought about him more than I wished to but it was progress. Progress that I needed.
"We have to find them, I want to see the look on Potters stupid face when we do". Draco snapped
Harry? What was he on about? Why wouldn't Harry of told me if something was going on? What was this secret that I didn't know about and why couldn't I know about it? And why did Draco know before me! Now I needed to know what the hell was going on.
I purched myself at the end of the corridor, leaning against the wall. "Having trouble boys?" I smirked over to them both, both of them nearly jumped out of their skin at the sound of my voice.
"Drayheart? What are you doing here you nosey little-." Before he could finish which I can only assume would of been a charming sentence Draco held his arm up to signify Crabbe to stop.

"Crabbe, go to your room". Draco's face deadly serious but never taking his attention away from me. I didn't lose the smirk off my face because I knew it would drive Draco mad. Just because I shouldn't be doing this doesn't mean I can't have a little fun whilst doing it.
"But Mal-." Crabbe stuttered.
"Go." With that Crabbe headed back to his room in a sulk.
"What are you doing Ivy?" Draco tilted his head and narrowed his eyes.
I took a couple of leisurely steps forward. "Well I couldn't help but over hear you two and wanted to know what you were talking about"
"Not that it's any of your business but we're part of a group now, The Inquisitorial Squad" Draco smirked back to me.
"HA! How sad are you?" I laughed in his face. Suddenly his face grew angry.
"Least I care about Slytherin, we get 50 house points if we-." He stopped in the middle of his sentence.
"If we what Draco?" I raised my eyebrow to him. He turned his face to the side to avoid my face. I began to close the distance between us with slow steps. As I reached him he still didn't look towards me, I looked down to his chest to see his tie had begun to come loose, for whatever reason my hands as if possessed reached up to slowly wrap around the green and white striped tie. Ever so gently I began adjusting it, he flinched slightly and then turned his head around till our eyes locked.
"Come on Draco, just tell me" my fingers began tightening the top as my fingers just slightly grazed his neck.
Draco's voice was soft and quiet almost a whisper. "What are you doing Ivy?" He was right what was I doing. I knew I should stop and walk away but I was enjoying this rush too much.
"I'll stop, just tell me who you are trying to find" I slid my fingers from the top of his tie slowly down to the very tip, I pressed my entire hand over the edge of the tie so it stayed resting against his torso. I could feel his hard body pressed against my palm, his body tightened under my touch. My eyes still locked with his, I watched his mouth twitch followed by his jaw beginning to clench.
"It's Harry, he's started an army. We don't know why, but Umbridge thinks it has something to do with Dumbledore trying to overturn the ministry." His face looked upset by his defeat.
"Harry? Why would..why would he not tell me" my eyes were furrowed with confusion. I can't believe how hurt I felt, why would he keep this from me? What had I done to deserve him doing this to me. I took a step back from Draco and backed my way onto the edge of the sofa. "I can't believe him! What an absolute...an absolute..."
"Dick?" Draco scoffed. "I told you this. Potter isn't as great as he seems" Draco came over next to the sofa. The anger inside of me was burning, how did I have to hear this from Draco of all people. I couldn't believe him.
"I thought I was staying away from you?" Draco's face was back on me again. I looked up to him and suddenly the anger melted.
"I thought so too"

Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...
