Just a reminder!! y/n : your name l/n: last name y/u: your user h/c: hair color e/c: eye color
You wake up and kiss your mom with a bag in your hand. "Awh its so sad my baby girl is growing up.." Your mom says as you continue to hug her. "Its ok mom its only 3 days!" You say smiling to her. "Don't forget to text me." She says shooting me a glare. "I wont I wont I say." Walking out the door seeing Kuroo and Kenma as usual.
"You ready for today??" Kuroo asks me. "I should be asking you that. You guys are the players!" You said with a giggle. Kenma's cheeks turned pink for a second from the giggle but he just shakes it off. "I'm so excited to meet the team I heard there a lot better then they were last year." Kuroo says. You pull out your switch on the way walking. "Hey I thought we agreed no switches on walks!" Kuroo says putting yours and Kenma's switches in his bag. "But- this is a walk to a train station not a school-" You began to say. "I don't care." Kuroo says.
You finally meet the team at the bus stop. "Hey my goddess~~" Yamamoto says to you. Twirling his finger around your hair. Kenma slaps his hand shooting him a look. Kenma hoped Kuroo didn't notice his actions he would be teased for life. "I can picture the look on Tanaka's face when he sees we have a babe as a manager" (Yamamoto had only met Tanaka once online they talked but they had never played against eachother! Just to clear up confusion!) You sit on the bus Kuroo sits next to you. As Yamamoto begins to try to sit Kenma sits next to you. "Thank you" You mouth to Kenma as he laughs a bit. "Kuroo can we have the switches back?" Kenma asks Kuroo. Kuroo puts his hand on his chin and acts like he is thinking about it. "Ugh fine." He grabs them and hands them back to them. You can feel Yamamoto and Lev staring you down so you keep your eyes down. You realize that Kuroo and Kenma had fallen asleep on both of your shoulders. Explains the staring. You didn't really care so you kept playing the new game eager to beat the level. Kuroo wakes up first he yawns and cracks him knuckles. "Ew." You say. "You mean this?" He cracks them again. "Stop!" You say whispering still. "Wow he's out cold." Kuroo says with a snicker looking at the boy asleep on her arm.

Y/n slowly wakes Kenma up when they get there. He yawns and gets up. You are used to grabbing onto Kenma's wrist leading him since he was always playing his games. "You guys are holding hands~~~" Kuroo says whispering. Kenma's head still focused in the game. You look up and say "More like steering him so he doesn't die." Kuroo laughed a bit. Kenma grunts out of anger. You stop for a bit and take the switch out of his hands. You beat the level for him and hand it back to him continuing to steer him. "Hey wait how did you do that?!" He said genially confused. You explain it as you look up and were about to say "lets-" You notice the team is gone. "Kenma. really." You say as he laughs a bit. "I will just text Kuroo" He begins. You drag him "We have to look for them."
You guys were about to start walking as you here a voice behind you. "Hey!" You turn around shocked. "I'm Hinata!!!" He says. "Do you guys play volleyball?" Hinata asks us. "I do?" Kenma says confused. "Oh that's cool!" "Oh you guys are a cute couple" A taller boy with dark raven haired hair says. You and Kenma's hand quickly shoot apart. "Oh were not a-" Kenma and You begin to say but Hinata and the boy look at eachother like "sure". You could feel your cheeks heating up. "So do you play volleyball?" Hinata says looking at you. "No I'm the manager." I say with a giggle the orange haired male was adorable. Kenma smiled a bit at the giggle. "Hey wait? Are you guys Karasuno?" You ask the boys. "Yeah!" Hinata begins. "Wait are you guys Nekoma?" The raven haired boy says. "Yeah" Kenma says. Kuroo didn't really like the other team no matter if they were nice or mean. "She is ours." Kuroo says grabbing Kenma and you. "Huh?" You say as your basically being dragged. "They were hitting on you they were gonna make you go to Karasuno!" Kuroo says. "I think they were being nice." You say.
It was the first practice game you had been to. A beautiful I mean BEAUTIFUL girl approaches you. "Hi! I am Kiyoko! Nice to meet you." She says shaking your hand. "Nice to meet you to!" You say looking up at the girl with a smile. Kuroo and Kenma approach you when Yamamoto grabs you. "LOOK TANAKA!" Yamamoto yells. Tanaka eyed you down and high fived Yamamoto. Tanaka began to compliment you. A dark haired boy approached you. "Ah I am sorry about them! I'm Daichi the captain of Karasuno!" But before you could answer back you felt a hand in your hand. Tanaka was shaking your hand. Kenma and Kuroo basically grabbed you as Daichi slapped Tanaka. "Your gonna scare the poor girl." Daichi said to Tanaka. Kenma leads you over to the side. "I'm really sorry.." He says actually looking guilty. "What? Why?" You ask. "Kuroo didn't mean to bring you into this if its making you uncomfortable its-" You cut him off. "Kenma you softy! I like it and I'm having a blast no need worry" You say as you could see his face turn a bit pink. "F-fine." He mutters. You smile and point to the hair clip in your hair. "No." He says already knowing what your talking about. "Ugh fineee"

"Hi.." Two male voices say. "Hi" You say to them Kenma still standing next to you but sucked into the game. "I'm Yamaguchi and this is Tsuki!" He says pointing at a really really really REALLY. TALL. BOY. "Nice to meet you to!" You say with a smile. They wait for Kenma to introduce himself. "Oh my- That's Kenma!" You say. The green haired male laughs a bit. Kenma's neck snaps up when he hears his name. You feel a hug from behind you. You jump a bit but find its Hinata and smile. "Hi Hinata!" You say with a smile. "Hi uhm.." He begins. "Oh my I'm really sorry I forgot to introduce myself the other day I'm l/n f/n! But please just call me f/n" "Oh ok great! Your really pretty!" Hinata says as you smile and say thank you.
You sit on the bench as the game starts. You write down all the attacks but then something shocks you. You didn't know how high the orange haired boy could jump. He jumped and slammed the ball the Karasuno team cheering. You quickly write it down. After a bit Nekoma knows how to stop it which seems to impress Hinata but a smile still on his face. You take out your phone
Y/u : Mom we got there safe!
Mom : Aw good! Are you guys winning
Y/u : Yeah!!!
Mom : That's really great! Dad says hi
Y/u : Tell him I say hi
You put your phone In your pocket as you see Kenma serve the ball. Your eyes widen as you didn't remember that at practice. It slams over the net onto the other sides floor. "How come he never showed that before?!" One of the coaches says then he says "Y/n can you right that down?" You nod and write it down. You style there names with little doodles next to them.
After the game you walk outside it's getting dark. You hear steps behind you as you see Kenma. "What are you doing?" He asks. "Oh just getting fresh air." He sits next to you. You pull out your notebook and show him the notes. "I'm very impressed in myself." You say. He laughs and says "Good job I like the drawing next to the name" You totally forgot about that part. The stupid feeling in your stomach kept coming back when he was around. You felt like your stomach was doing chart wheels. Kenma had the same feeling yet he knew what it was. He really liked y/n she saw him for him and not some weird quiet kid.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
