《delivery girl》Ch.4

Rowdy students were chatting away in a classroom.
"Woah, it's already second semester."
"Time flies."
"So hot." Groaned a wider boy sitting on top of a desk.
"Still hot in September." Agreed another boy with a very square jaw.
"Lose weight." Teased a skinny pointy boy with spiked hair.
The chubby boy's expression turned intimidating.
"Hey, G-Hole, there's no breeze. Level three!" He commanded, licking his upper lip.
"Three!" Barked a significantly smaller boy wearing glasses. "Level three!" He flapped a magazine at the three boys from his place on the floor.
The three goons snickered.
"Refreshing, heheh."
"It's a mini fan."
"Hehe."
'You jerks!' Thought the smaller boy as he broke out into a sweat, 'This is humiliating! I wanna die!'
A girl turned around to face the four boys.
"Hey, stop! It's too cold!" She complained.
"Shut up ugly face." The boys immediately began to snap.
"Close your mouth, it stinks."
"Haha."
She clamped her lips shut.
Then a prettier began to shiver inside her blanket cocoon.
"... It's cold." She whimpered.
She got a different reaction than the first girl.
"Oh, are you cold?"
"Hey, you're making her cold."
"Stop the fan!"
The first girl sighed and looked down at her desk and sighed, this was nothing new.
Before the chattering could continue, the teacher's arrival had been announced.
"Quiet! We have a new transfer student." The teacher instructed.
The students did the exact opposite and broke out into conversation.
"A transfer?"
"At our school?"
"A guy or a girl?"
Instead of answering his students questions, the teacher just told the student to come in.
The students were in a state of shock when they saw their new classmate.
"I'm Daniel Park." He introduces himself, standing in front of the class in his second body. "Nice to meet you."
Daniel let his eyes dart across the classroom. 'Uh... they're all staring at me. Don't make eye contact.' He instructed himself nervously.
Nearly the entire class had one collective thought.
'He's fucking gorgeous!'
"Take that empty seat." The teacher sighed, just wanting to begin class.
The girls whispered to each other.
"5.9 ft? 6ft?"
"Geez, he's so cool!"
"Great body!"
The guys in the class remained silent, narrowing their eyes at Daniel.
A boy with dyed blonde hair swept over his eyes and ring covered fingers payed no attention to the new student.
The girl sat across from where Daniel's new seat was supposed to be. She blew a strand of (h/c) hair away from her eyes, lazily trailing them over Daniel's figure before she rested her head in the palm of her hand and looked elsewhere.
'It's the first day! Gotta start out right! I have to get close to whoever's sitting next to me first.' Daniel planned, his heart pounding in his chest.
'Last year was a nightmare.' He remembered his old seat mate who had threatened to kill him last year if Daniel tried to talk to him.
'With a big smile!'
Daniel forced a toothy grin onto his face and directed it at his new seat mate.
"Hello!" He chirped.
But his confidence dropped when he saw just who he was sitting next to.
'It was him!'
"Yeah, hi." Grumbled the guy who had beaten up his second body just last week. What was his name again? Zack?
While Daniel was panicking, Zack frowned and let his eyes look Daniel up and down. 'He's fucking handsome.' He thought with a scowl.

'Things go wrong from day one!' Daniel thought, breaking into a nervous sweat at his classmates whispered about whether he was a model or not.
'Okay, it's not like I only sit next to one person.' Daniel thought, turning to look at who was sitting across from him, and he froze.
Sat across from him was the pretty delivery girl, who had paid for his food. He stared at her, his mind going wild.
'How is the world this small?'
'Don't be weird, she won't recognize you.'
He was broken from his thoughts when a familiar voice spoke to him.
"Hi." She said shortly. "It was Daniel, right?"
Daniel continued to stare at her, not really being able to process that a girl was starting a conversation with him.
He finally shook his head and gave a sheepish laugh.
"Haha, y-yeah. And you?"
A smirk flashed across the girl's face and was gonna as soon as it appeared.
"(Y/N) (L/N)," she said, reaching her hand out so Daniel could shake it. "It's a plea-" before she could finish her sentence and Daniel could shake her hand, a body stood between the two of them.
"Hey." An overly cutesy voice chirped
Daniel frowned and tried to get back to his interrupted conversation with (Y/N), But when he craned his next to look at her again she was playing with a handheld gaming system.
'Ah, I'll talk to her at lunch.' Daniel decided.
Then the girl who had walked in between the two had stepped in front of him again, blocking (Y/N) from his sight.
"Daniel? Hi, I'm Zoe." She purred.
The girls in the class began to murmur.
"I knew she would do that."
"She's on it again."
"She even interrupted a conversation!"
"Zoe Park."
"As soon as she sees someone good looking."
Daniel payed no attention to what his new classmates were saying, instead he was thinking, 'Wow, she's hot!'
"Hey, you've got something on your face!" Zoe giggled.
"Huh? Where?" Daniel asked cluelessly, suddenly nervous that he had been walking around with food on his face all day.
The other girls watched Zoe from the shadows, crowding around (Y/N)'s desk as she pressed the buttons on her game, paying no attention to her surroundings.
'Wait, this bitch.' The girls gasped, 'She wouldn't...'
"Handsome thing! Hehe." Zoe joked cutely.
The girls gritted their teeth.
'That bitch!'
(Y/N) snickered at their reaction, peeking at their dropped jaws and wide eyes.
Meanwhile, Daniel broke out into a blush.
"Hey Zoe." Someone called out, making the said girl turn around.
"Stop flirting and sit, it's annoying." Zack said in a bored manner.
"Oh Zack! Scary! What~" Zoe whined, trying to keep up the cute act, but on the inside the was spitting fire at the boy. 'Jerk!' She internally roared.
Daniel turned subtly turned to look at his seat mate, confused as to why he was talking to Zoe like that, She wasn't doing anything wrong...
The rest of the class silently cheered him on.
Suddenly, Zack got a chill up his spine, like his spidey-senses were tingling. He whipped around in his seat and saw a cute girl with twin braids staring at Daniel.
'M-Mira!' He gasped when he saw the blush on the girl's cheeks. He sat back in his chair and glared at Daniel. 'I hate that transfer dick!'
Daniel refused to look at Zack, trying to use the if-I-can't-see-you-you-can't-see-me technique. 'Something feels off...' He thought nervously.

The new school focuses on the Practical Music Department, Phys Ed Department, Baking Department, Vocal & Dance Department, Architecture & Interior Design Department, Beauty Department and the Fashion and finally, the Clothing & Design Department.
He remembers seeing a student from another school nervously passing by a crowd of students from Jae Won High this morning.
The bell rang, letting the students know that lunch time had began and that they were allowed to leave class.
The cafeteria was buzzing, everyone in the lunch line had their jaw practically to the floor.
"Daniel, what kind of side dishes do you like?" Zoe Asked, So focused on the him that she let her own food drip out of her tray.
'Wahhhhh!' The students thought, 'He's so freaking hot!'
Daniel closed his eyes and released a relieved sigh. 'I only have to get my own food, and not serve others'.
Zoe was practically frothing at the mouth, making sure no other girl would come close enough to distract Daniel, 'Floozies! Look away!'
The three bullies from this morning watched Daniel look for somewhere to sit, and listened to the whispers about him.
"Crazy handsome."
"Does he have a girlfriend?'
'They say he's in the fashion department.'
'Transfer?'
Their facial expressions darkened.
Meanwhile, Daniel was looking for a table to sit at. More specifically, a face sitting at a table where he could also sit.
'I really wanted to sit with (Y/N) at lunch to talk.'
He looked around the cafeteria, humming occasionally as Zoe kept on talking, pretending to listen, but (Y/N) was nowhere to be found.
He sighed, 'I guess I can talk to her when we get back to class'.
He finally decided on a random empty table and sat down, Zoe following suit and began chowing down.
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to eat in peace.
"Hey newbie!" Someone called when he still had his chopsticks hanging from his lips.
"We need to talk after lunch." The chubby boy who needed the fanning from this morning, with his two buddies standing behind him.
Daniel had to choke back a terrified whimper. 'Huh?!'
After lunch, Daniel found himself in a sketchy area behind the school, as he was instructed by the three bigger boys.
'What's this? I know this situation.' Daniel thought cautiously.
He remembered being jumped by classmates in places like this in his old body. 'I got beat in a place like this all the time.'
He finally approached the three boys who told him to meet them there.
"So your name's Daniel?" The ringleader asked with his face all scrunched up into a scowl.
"Um." Daniel mumbled, trying ignore how scary the three boys in front of him were.
'Scary! I spent all my money on this uniform.' He thought nervously.
Then, a carton of cigarettes was held in his direction.
"Where you from?" Asked the guy offering cigarettes to him.
"You're freaking tall." Laughed the skinny, pointy boy leaning against the brick wall.
"Ah~ Sweet." Sighed the one with the square jaw as he puffed out cigarette smoke.
"You... Hehe... Made trouble and that's why you're here, right?"
"Look at your shoulders, you work out?"
Daniel choked at his spit, his eyes wide with shock at the sudden change in the three goons's behaviors.
"You must be a ladykiller. Hook me up sometime, big guy." The leader kind of joked, shaking the cigarettes at Daniel.
'What should I do?' Daniel wondered. 'If I say I can't smoke, they'll think I'm a wuss.' "Ah.." Daniel began, making things up as he went along.
"I quit smoking." Daniel explained, earning impressed reactions from the three goons in front of him.
"...And I don't know any girls." He finished, a confident, intimidating look on his face.
The three guys gasped.
'This dick!' They thought.
'He's pretty imposing!'
"Then I'm out." Daniel finished, his inner alarms blaring 'GET OUT OF THERE!'
He turned around and made his way back to his classroom.
'This punk.' The goons thought, 'Must be a fighter.'
"Humph!" They grumbled as they watched Daniel walk away.
"That prick definitely works out..."
"He's got some nerve."
Daniel had to hold in a sigh of relief when he had finally made it out of the death trap. But before he reached the door-
"Daniel!"
He flinched, 'They're not done with me yet!' He thought, and turned around.
He didn't bother to hide his relief when he saw (Y/N) walking towards him with a lazy smile.
Daniel waited for her to catch up, even if she was walking a bit slower than usual because she was shoving something into her backpack as she walked towards him.
'Oh, thank god.' He thought. 'It's just (Y/N).'
One she finally made it to his side, she swung her backpack over her shoulder.
"Hey." She said.
"Hi." He replied.
"So uhh... I overheard some of what you said earlier..." She began, doing her best not to look Daniel in the face.
Daniel froze, 'I promise none of it was true! I'm a good kid!' He internally promised.
"I just wanted to say congrats for quitting smoking." She said with a close-eyed smile, reaching up to clap him on the shoulder.
"It's a hard thing to do. I would know. I'm trying to quit myself right now."
'I have never smoked in my life, nor have I ever tried to quit. And a girl just shared a piece of personal information with me.'
His brain short circuited.
"Ah, t-thanks!" Daniel laughed, trying to make things up on the spot for the second time that day. "It's a hard thing to do, but it's possible!"
The shorter girl took her hand off his shoulder and nods, her messy head of (h/c) hair bobbing with the movement.
She opened her mouth to speak again, but before she got any words out, the bell rang again.
Her posture dropped and she sighed,
"Ah, sorry man. We're gonna be late to class now because of me." She apologized, awkwardly scratching the back of her neck.
Daniel should have been upset that a girl he had just met not only eavesdropped on his conversation, but also made him late for class. But... 'I can't get mad at that face!'
"It's okay! I'll just say I got lost. It is my first day after all." Daniel said with a shaky smile.
(Y/N) returned his smile. "Hah, I like your style." She laughed and readjusted the straps of her backpack on her shoulders. "Well, follow me. I know a shortcut, so we won't be too late."

Zoe has a soft smile on her face, 'Hehe, he's sleeping well.'
Daniel was resting his head on a stack of books, snoozing away.
'He's even cute when he sleeps...' Zoe Thought dreamily.
In Daniel's small apartment, his original body shot up in his bed.
'Oh shit!'
'I must have fallen asleep at school since that body couldn't sleep for long! Cuz I tossed and turned all night worrying about going to school with that body...'
Daniel aggressively cocooned himself in his blankets,
'I gotta get back to that body! I'm not sure if I can sleep when I've slept all day!'
Back at school, Zoe was sneaking towards Daniel, 'I wanna wake him up and talk to him again.'
At home, Daniel was smushing his face into his pillow.
'I'm screwed! I can't sleep! Oh come on, fuck fuck fuck...'
He began whispering profanities to himself.
"Fuck... fuck..."
Zoe pounced at Daniel, shoving him to shake him from his sleep.
He jolted up in his seat, making a bang,
"Fuck!" He yelled, continuing his string of bad words that he started in his original body back at home.
Zoe was still crouching in front of Daniel, her face looked like the life had left her body.
'OMG!' He thought, looking down at her.
"What the?" A classmate murmured.
"Are they fighting?"
The whispering caught the rest of the students' attention, and seeing Zoe's shocked expression made them join in as well.
"Is the skank getting told off?"
"Haha."
"Hilarious."
"Embarrassing, hehe."
Daniel looked down at Zoe, confused, 'Did She wake me up?'
Zoe was still staring up at him.
'Did he just swear at me?' She questioned,
'This is nuts!'
'Damn.'
'Damn chic, Danny.' Her disturbed stare quickly became heart eyes.
Daniel felt something hit the back of his head. He got nervous at first,
'Oh no! The harassment begins now! I guess this start isn't going to be as fresh as I had hoped...'
He turned around in his chair and bent over to pick up the note, when he got back up he looked around the classroom to try and see who threw it.
He let out a breathy laugh and shook his head when (Y/N) mischievously winked and stuck her tongue out at him.
'Huh, I didn't notice the tongue piercing before...' he thought, before repositioning himself so he was properly seating in his seat.
He smoothed out the ball of paper and read the note written inside.
"Watch ur language Σ( ̄ロ ̄lll)"

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online
8 65Necromancer's Knight: a Light in Death
It was dark, pitch black. Where am I? Where was I last? I died. Am I still dead? A light so dim, yet so blindingly bright to me appeared in a vertical line. The line grew wider and wider, all until the stone slab above my coffin was completely removed. I removed it, I lifted it, without even willing it. And my body continued to move until it was outside of the crypt. It was night, but there was a full moon. And a little girl in front of me. She clutched a black book to her chest as if it were the last thing she had left in this world. I've heard stories of this, I imagined the possibility, but I never thought it would happen to me. Tears streaked down her cheeks. She choked the words out. "Please, save my papa!"
