I sit in bewilderment, trying to assess what just happened as Gaara's sand slips into the gourd and he walks away calmly.. But seeming a bit frustrated. I... have absolutely no idea what just happened. At first the writing had sounded like something gross that pervy Sensei would write, then it took a quick turn to threatening. So weird. The weird part is when we made eye contact Gaara seemed like he was thinking. I've never seen him feel anything except bored out of his mind or pissed off.
I gotta know more. Whats in his head? I usually hate mystery but something about him keeps me interested. I dont know though.. Part of me feels like he's just a spoiled little brat. He's the son of the Kazekage, how hard could his life really be?.. But then again, thats what keeps me wondering. I dont know what the deal is with this kid.. Something about him just makes me keep wanting to know more.
So there, thats it. My solution will be to be around him until im satisfied that i know enough.
"Hey, Gaara, we should go get ramen tomorrow night!" I yell excitedly, grinning from ear to ear. Gaara stops, twitches a bit and then is right next to me. I didnt even see him move!
"Must you scream and alert the whole village for something so simplistic?" I turned away from him embarrassed and scratched my neck.
"Uh I I'm sorry! I didn't really think about how your... Different than the people I know. So, ramen?" When I turned back he was gone. But a bit of sand was wrapped around my ankle. It slipped to the ground and spelled out 'I will just so happen to be at Ichiraku ramen at 7 am tomorrow. If you feel so compelled I suppose you could join me' "I'll be there!" I yelled. Oh shoot.. "Sorry..forgot to be quiet."
