"So let me get this straight? You made a deal with Gavin and you both sorta won so now you both have to do these so called dares?" Peyton reminisces. "Gavin's dare is to go streaking tomorrow?"

I nod my head biting into a pickle slice.

"Was that to much to ask?" I laugh out loud.

Peyton shakes her head. "It's genius." I watch as she jumps up, a huge grin spreading across her face. "Don't worry I'll get the video for you."

"I think I'm just gonna call it off. I can't go outside without my mother knowing again." I sighed. "The dares sorta a life or death situation for me."

"You're right." Peyton nods her head. "So we trick the bad boy."

"I'm listening." I said.

Later that night I had finally finished taking the rest my days worth of medicine and even took a nice cold shower to cool off. I was still bummed my phone was cracked and that I couldn't see what Zach had responded with.

I crawled under my blankets and slowly fell asleep.

The next morning I got up extra early to remind my mother to get my phone fixed and then waited until my two best friends stopped by after school. "Brought you something a lot better than a whole wheat sandwich." Ash laughs, he hands me a brown paper bag with a McDonald's logo on the side.

"Thanks." I smiled at him, I was a sucker for McDonald's chicken nuggets.

"Have you talked to Gavin?" Peyton mentions.

I shook my head. "Not since Saturday." I tell her. "Any luck today?"

We take a seat on the couch and I start eating my food.

"He never showed up to school." Peyton sighs.

"Really? His cars been gone all day?" I mumbled.

"Can we ever have a conversation that doesn't involve Gavin?" Ash asks. "We get it the guys popular."

"Jealous." Peyton jokes, making Ash roll his eyes at her. "I'm kidding."

"Coach decided he wants to offer the scholarship for Duke to either Gavin or Zach, so yeah today's not my day."

I feel bad, that scholarship is all Ash has ever talked about. With all of the hard work he puts into football he deserves it, I know Gavin could careless about football with all of the time he puts in getting suspended.

Peyton and Ash eventually went home and my mom arrived from work telling me all about how great it was that Gavin and I were getting along. If constantly arguing and having and urge to remove myself from any room he was in meant getting along.

"The best of friends." I sarcastically reply.

"Good because Sarah and I are going out for drinks are you okay with that." She asks me.

"Can I go?" I chuckle lightly. "You go have fun."

I didn't want to keep my mother stuck in this house like I was. I wanted her to have fun even if that meant spending a few hours with him.

She steps closer and gives me a smile. "You be good okay?" I cringe as she hugs me because I hate hugs and kisses as much as I hate having a babysitter. I was almost eighteen.

"Hello Alex." Sarah waves to me from the front door as she waits for my mother. Gavin's standing beside her almost like a giant compared to her size. Wow.

"Hey." I wave eyeing Gavin as he walks in smirking at me like he's up to something.

"I'm still waiting to get paid for this." I hear Gavin say aloud.

"Gavin." Sarah scolds. "Be nice."

"Yeah Gavin, be nice." I chuckled.

"Okay we'll be home later love you!" My mom calls out closing the door behind her. A never escaping sound of silence echoes the room.

"So, I usually go to a girls house to make out with them but since you're a germaphobe, what should we do?" Gavin quirks up his eyebrows at me.

"I wouldn't want to make out with you even if I weren't a germaphobe." I say crossing my arms over my chest.

"Keep telling yourself that love."

"Don't start with the nicknames." I groaned.

"Don't start with the attitude." He says.

"Want to go play some video games?" I asked rolling my eyes at him.

He bites the bottom of his lip at me. "Fine but I'm choosing."

Maybe I could get used to this, nah.

"I ordered my pizza over thirty minutes ago and it hasn't arrived." I hear Gavin shouting over the phone. "I'll be sending you my hospital bill when I start dying of hunger jackass."

I can't help but laugh a little. Gavin was pretty serious when it came to his pizza. He finally hangs up frowning at me.

"Alright there?" I asked sitting at my desk.

"Does it look like I'm alright?"

"You do realize you only ordered that pizza like ten minutes ago?" I said.

Gavin shakes his head. "Yeah now I'll get it for free when it arrives." I stay quiet and watch as he sits at the edge of my bed. "Are parents are probably gonna get home soon anyway."

I nod my head. "You didn't show up for school today?"

Gavin gives me a strange look. "What?"

"Peyton she told me." I said.

I see the corner of his lips rise up. "Someone sounds a little eager to see me naked." He chuckles.

"Actually I was going to call the whole thing off." I admit.

"A deals a deal Wood. Friday night there's a little party going on and you're coming with me."

My jaw instantly drops. Since when did he start running my life? I don't think so. "I'm not some puppy who just follows you around all the time."

"No you aren't, puppies are a lot cuter." He says. "And there's another reason why you need to come."

"Why?" I said annoyed.

"Zach's been asking about you. He's done a lot for me in the past so I told him I'd do him a solid and bring you to the party."

Great he's bating me, I highly doubt thee Zach Miles is that desperate for me. There's plenty of other girls he could have healthy ones too. I wasn't special I wasn't even pleasing to look at.

"You're lying." I said narrowing my eyes at him.

Gavin shrugs his. "Maybe I am, you won't know if you don't come."

I groaned loudly. "I-I can't." I said.

Gavin's starts rolling his eyes at me. "You can't or you won't?"

I stand up from my desk. "No I really can't." I added. "I don't have anything to wear." Maybe that'll work.

"You've got to be kidding me." He says running his hands down his face. "I've never met someone as strange as you are."

"And I've never met someone so obnoxious." I sneered. "I'm not going."

I put on a very oversized denim jacket and pair it with some black ripped jeans. I looked down at my phone that was finally fixed waiting for Gavin to reply back. How did I manage to be convinced by that jerk, I really don't know. Somehow these past few weeks have been the most hectic they've ever been in my entire life. Ever since Gavin arrived.

The time was currently ten-thirty and by now my mother should be fast asleep so I'll have no problem sneaking out.

A few minutes later I get a text and hear the loud roar of Gavin's car starting outside. Great let's hope that didn't wake up my mother.

I quietly exit my room and make my way to the front door and close it behind me. I let out a large breath I didn't know I was holding once I get to Gavin's car. I enter and he doesn't even care to glance over and make sure I wasn't a stranger.

"Ahem." I said waiting for him to drive away. "We don't have all day here."

His green eyes turn to look at me like he's annoyed and about ready to toss me out of the car. "Sorry what'd you say?" Gavin starts blasting his music and puts the windows down.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." I say to myself as we pull out of the driveway. Gavin's fingers drum along to the rock music playing through his speakers and the wind is blowing in my face that I can't see straight. I'll admit this was still a lot better than my room.

Unfortunately my two best friends won't be attending this party so I'll literally have to count on Gavin to take me home after the nights over. Is it strange that I'm arriving with him? Mr popular? What will people think? I hope they don't think I'm with this player.

Gavin parks on the side of the curb beside a house that has cars surrounding the place. I thought this would be a little party?

"Little party huh?" I said glaring over to him.

"Cmon don't be such a downer." Gavin tells me. "This could be the best night of your life."

I look back at the house. "Or the worst night."

I finally get out and follow behind Gavin who walks way to fast for me that I can't even catch up. The house looks quite large so I just hope there's enough space to breath inside.

Again, this could be the worst night of my life.
