《ON SET | FACK》TWENTY SIX

RECAP:
"do you remember the night we went grocery shopping?" finn said softly, wanting jack's tears to stop flowing so heavily. jack nodded slowly.
"and you told sophia all we would be was best friends?"
jack was obviously taken aback, his pouty expression changing to a look of surprise. "how did you hear that? we weren't with you."
"grocery store shelves aren't soundproof," finn tried to joke, but the awestruck boy didn't crack a smile.
"all i remember thinking when i heard that is that, is that it wasn't true." finn let out a shaky breath. "you've always felt like more than a best friend to me. and i thought you knew that. the laser tag, the day we went to canada's wonderland, all the little things. i never meant to confuse you. god, the night we kissed in the bathroom, i wished on an eyelash that i would get to kiss you a million times more. everything i've done was for you."
and for the first time since wyatt had asked him the question that night, jack broke out into a smile.

it's funny how quickly things can change.
just this time last year, finn and jack weren't even talking to each other, not even in contact. they honestly could've cared less about what the other boy was doing.
and now, the soft boy with angel eyes and porcelain skin was all finn could think about.
ever since that night.
after the boys had finally gotten all their feelings out, they felt okay. wyatt ended up taking to others to the pool, and they enjoyed themselves enough. finn texted them to let them know jack and him were going to head to bed.
they cuddled up in their bed together, finn ignoring yet laughing at jack's endless, 'wear socks! it means no homo!' comments. they spent at least three hours talking to each other about anything under the moon, and everything that came to their head. when their friends finally arrived they pretended they were asleep, which resulted in them actually falling asleep.
the past few days had been golden. finn and jack had kissed a total of seven (jack was counting!) times, and even once in front of jaeden. the boys eyes practically bugged out of his head as he watched finn quickly give jack as smooch as he went to leave to get iced coffee with jaeden, while finn decided to stay and play his guitar with chosen.
and now they were here. jack and jaeden walking down the streets of toronto, making their way to the nearest starbucks. as soon as finn was out of sight, jaeden had started bugging jack about finn.

"so? you guys LIKE like each other?" jaeden giggled wanting to scream to the world. "my best friends are in love!"
"jaeden!" jack hushed him, nervously looking at him. "be careful."
"sorry. i'm just so happy for you guys. it sounds so romantic." jaeden started to laugh.
although he was laughing, jack knew he was serious. jaeden had always been a hopeless romantic at heart. jack would never forget the endless times jaeden would sleepover and beg him to watch titanic, or moonrise kingdom, which usually he would end up watching with jack and his mother. one time, jaeden even made him watch call me by your name, which he was eternally grateful for, since he loved the soundtrack. the movie had made both of them cry. jack chuckled at the memory.
"what about you and wyatt?"
"what about me and wyatt?" jaeden asked, almost alarmed. "nothing's changed between us. things are just awkward between us." he remarked glumly.
"wy misses you though." jack almost whispered.
"no way." jaeden replied, opening the starbucks door open for jack, starting to chuckle as the boy almost skipped into the building.
"yes way. you guys are literally head over heels; just admit is and be his boyfriend already!" jack teased, starting to grin as jaedens cheeks flushed a light red tint.
the two took a moment to order their drinks; jack ordering a caramel macchiato and a cake pop, jaeden ordering an iced white chocolate mocha with an everything bagel. jaeden started to giggle at jack's food choice of a cake pop. "that'll barely fill you!" jaeden insisted.
"hey, cake pops are fun as hell, don't knock it. who doesn't like cake on a stick?" jack argued.
"me." jaeden stuck out his tongue, shifting back and forth on his feet while waiting for his food and drink, then suddenly smiling at jack. "hey, you ordered the same thing as finn gets here."
jack smiled sheepishly, nodding. "we've gotten the same thing since we were younger." jack shrugged. "although coffee isn't always a good idea with me."
"jesus, you're right. you're already hyper enough; what the hell are we gonna do with you!"
the two boys simply couldn't stop laughing and cracking jokes as they got their food and headed out the door to head back to the apartment.
"so you and finn just, kiss now? that's a normal thing? are you like, dating?" jaeden questioned, taking a sip of his drink. jack smiled, shaking his head slightly.
"i'm not sure. i mean, kissing is normal for us. we had kissed a couple times before this week."

jaedens eyes got big.
"you're kidding! what the hell! when?" he yelped all at once, resulting in jack raising a finger to the boys lips to shush him, starting to snicker.
"san diego comic con, and when we were filming our scenes in IT chapter two. we kissed when we reunited this summer too." he replied slyly, trying not to be all smiles as jaeden's jaw practically dropped to the ground.
"spill the details!"
"there is none!" jack insisted. "san diego comic con, we kissed in the hotel when everyone else was sleeping. we barely knew what it meant, it just felt nice. we kissed in a limo when we finished filming early for chapter 2, and we kissed in the bathroom once here. and well—" jack shut himself up before he said anymore. "that's all you need to know, you freak!"
jaeden just smiled broadly and kicked a rock on the sidewalk. "geez jack, you and finn are crazy." he retorted, looking at jack and giving him a playful grin.
the hubbub slowly died down as the two listened to the buzz of the city for a moment, working on eating their breakfast as jack looked over at his friend. "look jae, i'm serious about the wyatt thing." jack said, biting into his cake pop. "you guys have never been in a fight this long. i think it would be good if you had a talk with him. i know it might be awkward, especially knowing that he knows you like him, but it's not worth your friendship being over."
jack didn't even realize how much jaeden truly admired him. the smaller was always there for him, no matter what problems seemed to be going on in his life. jaeden knew he might not be jack's best friend (he had finn, after all,) but jaeden was pretty sure jack was his best friend anyways.
"i think i will." jaeden smiled gently, turning to face jack. "thanks bubs."
"no problem." jack beamed back at him. "now, let's get home quick. we're filming a tv series starting TOMORROW. we have friends to be making up with, scripts to be studying, starbucks to be drinking!"
the two races into the apartment complex as fast as they could, excited for what was to come.
everything felt right with the world, for once.
as jaeden and jack returned to the apartment and reunited with their friends, it dawned upon him how sad he would be when it was all over. when he wouldn't see his friends everyday for filming, people that had grown to be his family. he couldn't even think about not seeing his boy everyday, (his boy being finn, of course.) jack smiled as finn came to greet him and kissed the crown of his head gently, immediately stealing a sip of his drink.
"our favourite!" he laughed, giving jack another kiss, this time on the forehead.
their other friends immediately ran over to them, urging jack and jaeden to watch some funny video they had made with wyatt while the pair was gone. jack watched as jaeden lightly whispered something in wyatt's ear, resulting in a nod from the tall, slim boy as jaeden grabbed his wrist and led him to their bedroom. he couldn't help beam as he watched them. he was proud; he hadn't realized how much growing up the seven had done.
but as he in the kitchen, watching some skit his losers had practiced to post on youtube, finn lightly grabbing his hand and intertwining their fingers, a rush of happiness flushed over his entire body.
he thought acting was the one thing he was destined for; the one thing that was his. and in a way, it was. he had always found acting somewhat lonely, however. having to mask your emotions and pretend you're somebody else.
the losers were the thing he was destined for. this friend group. he never had to hide things, or pretend he was someone else. every time he thought about the fact that these people were his family, his heart nearly exploded.
the short skit drew to a close, and everyone shouted out words of encouragement.
"i loved it!" jack cheered, resulting in bows from sophia and jeremy. "and, i love you guys."
"ew, so sappy grazer!" sophia ran over to him, pinching his cheeks.
"but we love you too." chosen nudged sophia out of the way, kissing jack's cheek lightly.
chosen and sophia fought to give jack their affection, pushing each other out of the way, but eventually finn just wrapped his arms around jack and the others soon followed, crowding around him for a group hug.
as they broke the hug up, jack noticed wyatt and jaeden had made their way over in the middle of the chaos. wyatt was smiling, his and jaedens hands lightly touching each other as they stood side by side.
as jack made eye contact with jaeden, the corners of his mouth turned up into a toothy grin, scrunching up his face.
jack winked at the boy, his heart beating a million miles per hour. and not just from the coffee; but from his favourite people. his losers club.

Disclaimer: I'll leave this on here for anyone to read. The last time I uploaded a chapter was nearly a year ago, and to all the readers who still kept their trust in me after I came back from my umpteenth hiatus, I am sorry. I will not carry on writing this; I started off without the correct foundations of a novel, nor commitment to fully finish it and I do not want to lie to you all once again. Maybe one day, I may decide to re-write the novel, with a new basis or at least a comprehensive starting point with many of the narrative errors cleared up; but, till then, this is goodbye. And, once again, thank you for the motivation you gave me. Even now, I see many emails come through with people commenting. Goodbye. A child blessed by the Astral. An unprecedented destiny. Watch his path, as he marches up the stairway of Heaven. A March of a Sovereign. [Adventure, Wuxia, Martial Arts, Fantasy] This is a Qihuan novel; it has eastern and western fantasy elements. More often than not in Xianxia or Xuanhuan there is a severe lack of character development, being a western writer I'm changing that. My characters, from my totally unbiased view, feel fleshed out and actually have emotions. This is my first attempt at a novel, I'm writing as a means to better convey my thoughts. I will, hopefully, steadily improve chapter-by-chapter. I'm very open to feedback and constructive criticism. As one can see this is a cultivation novel, so you know how this goes. I've decided to jump-start the whole rags-to-riches scenario. He is strong from the start and is given the utility to do so. *The cover art is not my own, all rights reserved to the owner. I will take it down if necessary. *The style of the recent chapters is comparatively different than Chapter 1.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.
