Volume Two: The Prince’s Justice
It was during the war’s most desperate throes that the Heavenly Son was born. As the brisk winds of winter billowed against the Heavenly Argonian army’s camp set on the snow-capped summit of Mt. Leuaionorus, so too did the foreign powers encroach upon the mountain’s base trying to freeze our forefathers with their siege. When all hope appeared bleak, a celestial osprey with vibrant teal feathers and emerald eyes descended from the heavens to perch on the Heavenly Founder’s tent.
When the Heavenly Founder was informed of this auspicious sign, he cautiously approached the celestial osprey. The osprey made no move to flee and even seemed to beckon him forward with the sway of his beak. The Heavenly Founder reached the divine bird and laying his hand on its crown, he was shocked to hear a voice.
“Divine Argus, Greatest Amongst Men and Rightful Ruler Under Heaven, you alone have strength enough to approach me and spirit enough to hear my blessings. I am an emissary of the Water Goddess, Pourer of the Constellations, sent to portend the beginning of your Royal lineage. Tonight, a Prince will be born to you, who will serve this land when you have finished. Have faith! With him by your side, the war will be won!”
The Heavenly Father was stunned by the miracle, but in his humility he protested. “There must be some mistake. The Goddess could not have chosen me to rule under the heavens. I am but a simple chief from a small tribe on the verge of extinction. My wife is not even pregnant. How can a son be born to me under such circumstances? There must be someone else.”
The celestial osprey gave no response. With a puff of his feathers, he lurched from the tent and back into the heavens. When his men asked what had happened, the Heavenly Founder could not find the words.

That day the Heavenly Mother’s stomach began to swell with inexplicable speed. While his fellow soldiers were downtrodden at the bloating, thinking it a sign of her starvation and coming death, the Heavenly Founder recalled the osprey’s prediction and remained calm. Still as his wife’s belly grew larger and larger, he could not help but feel anxious.
Early the next morning, the camp awoke in shock as the sun overhead was obstructed. The fortunetellers announced that the eclipse foretold a new era. When the Heavenly Founder rose, he found his wife in anguish. Calling found her to be in the midst of childbirth. For hours they toiled, until finally, the Heavenly Son was born.
Above them, the eclipse ended and the world was washed in the heat of sunlight. The frost of the season melted away in an instant and all returned to warm spring. Two rainbows stretched across the sky above the mountaintop. When the Heavenly Father presented the Heavenly Son to his people, the rainbows coalesced into a blinding light. When all looked up to where they had been, they found a new star that shined bright through both day and night.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Author's Note. This is book 7! Please feel free to hop on and enjoy! If you find you like my writing style, I hope you'll check out the first 6 books, all available to read on Kindle Unlimited, link below!) Alex was dying, and all the millions his father had left him meant nothing. The life he had been so eager to embrace, to do the memory of his father proud, would soon come to an end. Cancer. That ugly, terrible word. He had tried to be strong for his mother, even when the treatments left him violently ill, his body wracked with pain, his friends and even his girlfriend leaving him almost as fast as his once impressive physique wasted to nothing under the ravages of his illness. And just when he thought all hope was dead, a couple discrete referals placed by high-powered friends of his family got him an exclusive spot at the most sophisticated cryonic facility in the world. He didn't know if there was such a thing as an afterlife, but part of the package included uploading a copy of his cortex into a digital universe filled countless worlds to explore, where he could embrace whatever class or profession he could dream of. All of which sounded hell of a lot better than the miserable death waiting for him in the real world. In the end, he signed the paperwork, putting his pathetic flickering life in the hands of potential quacks and charlatans. After all, with death just days away, what did he have to lose? Even if he could never be successfully revived, he could at least adventure his heart out. (Authors Note: Books 1-6 are now live on Amazon and here is a link if you wanted to check it out! And I will continue to post chapters to Book 6 here first, until that tale is told! I hope you enjoy! And if you wanted to help support my work by checking out book 1 on Amazon, I would be extremely grateful!)
