《Camille Lupin the Unicorn》Christmas Time

Camille's POV
It's time for the Christmas holidays. Nearly every student is going home for the holidays. I'm going to go spend it with my family. I've missed them. Sure we've written to each other, but we haven't all gotten together in a long time.
So I packed my bags and am ready to leave today. There has been another attack though. Justin was peteified along with Nearly Headless Nick. So new rules were made, teachers were to walk students to their classes and there is now a curfew.
"Alastir says he has a room for you" Dumbledore tells me.
"It's Christmas Dumbledore, I am staying with my family. I'm not a child that needs protecting" I tell him.
"Anymore dreams lately?" he asks me.
"About what happened 50 years ago, I think my dreams are trying to lead me to the person behind the attacks. But I am having trouble decifering them" I state.
"Trelawney could help you, so can I" he reminds me.
"I know, but I want to enjoy my holiday with my family. You can help me when I return" I tell him. "I have some things I need to do, have a good Christmas" I state before leaving his office.
I go to the abandoned bathroom. "Professor, how lovely to see you" Mrytle says.
"How is the potion?" I ask her.
"It'll be ready tonight, she is quiet skillful at potion making" she tells me. "Why are you letting them do this? Why not turn them in?" Mrytle asks me.
"They wouldn't stop even if I told them too. The best thing I can do is ensure they don't hurt themselves in the process. Besides do you really think Dumbledore doesn't know what they are doing?" I ask her. "Anyway, have a good Christmas" I tell her and leave.

I return to my private chambers and grab my luggage. I then leave by the floo network. Flooing home. I look around the den and smile at all the Christmas decorations. I place three presents under the tree.
"Cami?" a voice says behind me. I turn to see my twin brother.
"Remus" I say with a smile and hug him tightly. "I've missed you, are mum and dad home?" I ask him.
"Mum went to th shops and dad is at work. We weren't expecting you until dinner" he states.
"I finished early and wanted to surprise you all" I tell him.
"Well I am surprised" he tells me smiling. "How about we make some afternoon tea for mum" he suggests. I agree and wave mt real wand. My luggage disappears to my room and we head for the kitchen.
"Earl grey or Jasmine?" I ask Remus as I put the pot on.
"Jasmine" he tells me as he starts to make sandwiches. I nod my head and get out the tea set and tray. The kettle boils and I let the Jasmine dissolve before pouring it into the pot.
"Remus, I'm home" mum says as he hear the front door open.
"Welcome home mother, we made afternoon tea" Remus tells her.
"Who's we?" Mum asks as she enters the kitchen.
"Hello mum" I say with a smile. She runs over and hugs me. "Mum, can't breathe " I tell her. She lets go and we enjoy our tea. I then help her make a special dinner.
"Smells amazing Hope, is Camille here yet?" Dad asks as he arrives home.
"Why don't you hug me and find out?" I tell him. He picks me up swinging me around. I smile happily. We all have a nice family dinner and catch up.

(Christmas day)
I woke up early and woke Remus by jumping on his bed. "Act your age Camille" he tells me.
"It's Christmas, mum made chocolate chip pancakes" I tell him. That wakes him up and we go downstairs for breakfast. We then all gather around the tree for presents.
We exchange gifts with each other, before opening the others. Dad then brought out a special gift for mum. "Merry Christmas my dear" he says smiling.
Mum smiles and opens the box to reveal a puppy. "Oh how precious " she says picking up the puppy.
"Do you like her darling?" Dad asks her.
"Oh I love her" mum coos as the puppy licks her nose.
"What will you nae her mum?" I ask as Remus and I pat the pup behind the ears.
"Angel" mum declares smiling as she kisses dad gently.
"These are from Camille and I" Remus says handing mum the necessary things needed to look after a puppy.
"Thank you so much dears" she says smiling. The rest of the holidays flew by. Angel refused to sleep in her bed at night. Demandjng she sleep on mum and dad's bed. Which they allowed.
I caught up with them all. I even received an invite to celebrate Easter. I told them I'd try to make it. They all hugged me goodbye and Angel licked my nose. Mum promised to send me pictures of Angel every week.
I caught the Knight Bus back to Hogwarts. Then went to check on Hermione. I'd received a letter she'd tried using polyjuice potion with ca6 hair. Luckily she is nearly done with furballs and shouls be released soon. She even made the boys bring her her homework, so she wouldn't fall behind in her studies. Otherwise ot sounds like they had a relaxing Christmas. With no more attacks.

Nights of Sambria: And the Wish of Light
“I discovered a secret. One I desperately wish could have stayed hidden. It was locked away, concealed in a fantastical world on the doorstep of 7 billion people who stayed utterly oblivious to it. If they will be spared the terror that is coming, I can’t begin to imagine. Know that a forgotten heritage of a dwindling people whispered, unknowingly sending a call to the ancient mysteries of the world. Something listened. And now events are set in motion that could force the earth on a course of terrible change. I am being hunted and have run out of time. There were no stories about it. No legends. Not even scribbles. Yet, the threat of it is real and that’s why I’m writing this warning with shaking hands. So pay attention those who read this, be careful of what lies waiting cloaked in the darkness. That which made their home the lost places of this world.” She folded the letter with a shuddering breath and stared back in the direction from where the noise reverberated through the halls. It was of stone doors shattering one by one. The chances of getting out safely were all but gone. The letter in her hand was all warning they would have. It dropped into one of the Wells and all that could be done now was hope it was found in time, if at all. -- This was my very first large story. ;) I started writing it years ago. Was fun, was difficult, but in the end, it is a story I hope that will inspire. The prologue is in first person perspective and the rest of the story in 3d. Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known. Remember to leave ratings and reviews. I'm quite interested in hearing your thoughts on the story. ;) Enjoy reading, Omri Hope
