Y/N's Pov:
I sat on the edge of the bed and looked down at Cynthia sleeping peacefully. I brushed my finger down her cheek softly, earning a soft purr. I looked out the window and at the beautiful river outside the cabin. Thinking back to the times of our adventures together all over Kanto made me miss them so much when I was dragged into the distortion world. I missed her...I felt Cynthia grab my hand and pull it closer into her chest like a teddy.
"I love you so much" I muttered, kissing the top of her head. I watched as Cynthia's eyes fluttered open.
"Morning Y/N" Cynthia smiled, kissing my hand softly.
"Morning beautiful" I smiled back, passing her a cup of tea. Cynthia sat up slowly, still hugging my arm and taking the mug.
"We should go to Unova Cynth" I said, looking out the window.
"Unova?" Cynthia frowned.
"Yeah. I want to learn more about the legendary Pokémon and the myths from the past" I explained.
"Hmmm. Do you know someone called Caitlin?" Cynthia sipped her tea.
"The sleepy Elite Four member from Unova?" I chuckled.
"Yes. The 'sleepy one'." Cynthia smiled, shaking her head. "She has a villa in Undella Town that I can ask to use, since she's always busy with the Elite four"
"Sounds like a plan" I said, putting my mug down and leaning closer. I kissed Cynthia softly, as she set her tea down on the bedside table. Cynthia smiled and pulled me onto the bed, not breaking the kiss. I smiled and pulled away a little, brushing the hair out of her face.
"Later, ok?" I smirked. Cynthia pouted and wrapped herself around me tightly. I frowned and looked down to see her burying her face in my chest.

"Hey, hey. What's wrong?" I whispered, patting Cynthia's head. Cynthia sobbed softly into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and tried my best to comfort her.
"I...don't want to lose you...again" Cynthia cried. I lifted Cynthia's head up and smiled.
"You won't Cynth. I'm not going anywhere" I said, drying her eyes. Cynthia nodded slowly and hugged tighter, resting her head on my shoulder.
"Sleep. I'll get us there safely" I kissed Cynthia's cheek and picked her up bridal style. "If you want to still go beautiful?" I added.
"I'd go anywhere with you Y/N" Cynthia spoke, slightly muffled.
"I know...Ditto" I patted her head and draped my cloak around Cynthia. I grabbed my belt and stood up, keeping a firm grip on Cynthia as hers tightened around me. I opened the door to the cabin and looked out across the lake.
'A long walk or a long flight' I thought to myself. I smiled, glancing down at a snoring Cynthia. I turned around and walked towards the horizon, to discover new beginnings.
