Date: 10/6/17

I am currently walking to my 8th period class, I am late again. I had to stop at my locker to get a notebook. I forgot I had english class for some strange reason I was thinking the day was over 7th period. Maybe because yesterday was a half day and on half days we have shorter periods upto 7th period and no 8th period. Our school is weird. I walk into class and know I will have a detention in a few days or something like that. I am always late to this class. This is because I always wait for Alex to walk out of 7th period before I even start to leave. I have no idea why I left early today. Maybe because I am nervous about Alex. I get really nervous around her and I have no idea why. I have dated one or two girls in the past but it has never been like this. Alex isn't even my girlfriend yet, but, I really want her to be. She is so nice and sweet.

"Justin Johnson" The teacher says as I walk in the door.

"I know, I am late. I left my note book in my locker because I thought it was a half day. I will take the consequences" I say and look down

"Since you owned up to what you did wrong and did not lie, I will let it slide this one last time, plus, James, Katie, and Lawson are not here yet so it would be unfair. Take your seat" she says and I move to my seat. Oh thank god.

"I am here" I hear someone say as they walk into the door. The whole class and the teacher turn around to see a girl. It's not Katie. She must be new.

"Who are you" The teacher asks

"I am Jessica Atding" She says and then looks down. She IS new. I wonder what group she will go into to.

"Well, take your seat, you will sit next to Mr. Johnson" the teacher says and Jessica nods. She starts to move then stops.

"Umm" she starts

"Yes" the teacher asks

"Who is that" she asks and I raise my hand. Jessica puts a smile on her face. I feel like I have seen her before through out the day.

"Who is she" Dan asks me

"What do you mean" I ask as she starts to walk over to me. She will be sitting on my right. James sits behind me and Dan sits to my left.

"She was in my 7th period class" He says and I just shrug. "She would be cool in our group, even though she is new she was raising her hand in last class" he says and I think for a minute

"You can ask" I say and raise my hand "Can I go to the bathroom" I ask and the teacher says yes, I get up and walk out. A few minutes later I go to the group chat

Me: There is a new girl and Dan wants to add her to our group

Alex

James: Maybe

Dan: Give her a chance

Alex

Me: That is fine

Me: Back to class I go

Alex 

I walk back to class and see Jessica is talking to Dan in my seat. James in also in class now on his phone. I walk past him to get my bag and see he is texting Alex and May in a group chat.

When class is over, I walk out with James, Dan, and our new friend Jessica. Dan got her number and added her to the group chat. Alex also added Jermey into the chat. We all walk away and go to our lockers. Jessica's locker is only a few away from mine.

"So" she says

"Yeah" I ask

"Do you know who's car I am going in, because, if I have the choice, I want to go in your car" she says

"Sorry, you will be going with the girls, You can't come in my car because Alex is coming in my car" I ask

"Who is Alex, he seems nice if he gets to go with you" She says

"Actually, Alex is short for Alexandria, Alex is a girl" I say getting my bag and closing my locker

"Is she your girlfriend" she asks

"No" I say

"Oh okay" she says

"Let's go" I say and she closes her locker and we walk to the front of the school. I see Alex at the front door standing next to a boy I have never seen before. Probably her mew friend. "Alex" I yell and she smiles at something the boy says "Alex" I yell when I get a little closer and then she turns around. She starts to walk towards me when Katie stops her. I stand there with Jessica for a second as I try to figure out what Katie is saying. I see Alex look over Katie's shoulder and then shake her head and walk away

"What was that" I ask Alex when I catch up to her. She doesn't say anything and just looks at the others.

"Hey guys" she says when all 8 of us are, Jessica stands some what behind me. "This is Jermey" she says "He is going to go with Dan, James, and David for today so they can get to know him" she says "Okay?" she asks

"Okay" James, Dan, and David say at the same time

"This is Jessica" I say and she walks out from behind me a little. "She is going with the girls so that they can also get to know her" I say "Okay?" I ask

"Okay" Megan, May, and March say

"Change of plans though, we are taking the weekend and going to New York" Megan says

"Can Jermey come?" Alex asks

"If his parents say it is okay" James says

"I already asked" Jermey says "They said it was fine"

"What about Jessica" I ask

"What did her parents say" James asks

"I can call them" she says

"Okay" We all say as she walks away

"We have to stop home and get clothes" Alex says

"True" I say walking over to her and putting my arm around her

"They said yes as long as they can met you guys for 5 minutes before we leave" Jessica says

"That's fine" Alex says

"Okay" Jessica says

**Jessica's house**

"Mom, we are here" Jessica says

"Oh honey you made new friends" her mom says

"Yep, this is Dan" she says and Dan steps forward

"Hello" Dan says

"This is Alex" Jessica says and Alex steps forward

"Hello" Alex says. This goes on until she gets to me, last.

"And, last but not least, this is Justin" Jessica says

"Hello" I say

"Hello you guys" her mom says and then her dad comes into the room

"Hello" he says

"Go get your stuff, our check in time is 6 and its already 3:45" Megan says to Jessica

"Okay" Jessica says

"There is an indoor pool" Megan says

"Okay" Jessica calls back

After a few minutes, Jessica is saying 'Goodbye' to her parents

"Wait" her dad says "Who are you sharing a room with" he asks and then looks like he is about to scream at her.
