"Can I ask you something" James asks Alex and then looks up at me. He knows the plan and I hope he sticks to it. He is the only person in our group who knows I like Alex. I have liked her since the day I saw her. I shrug trying to play it off and then walk to the table.

"Hey" I say to Megan. She just looks up from her homework amd smiles. I look over at Alex and James. They are being stoped by Austin and Liam. They hate us more then anything or anyone here at school.

"What" I hear her say and then I see her fall to the ground

"That's for beating my brother for team caption 2 years age" Austin says. The rest of the cafeteria is silent, but James isn't going to be able to hold them both off. They try to start fights with us by hitting Alex. She is the baby of the group. Everyone sees her as a baby sister, except me, I see her as so much more.

"Let's go" I say to Dan "Stay here David" I say and they both nod. We start to walk really fast up to the 4 of them when we are stoped by a teacher.

"Stop" The teacher who I have never seen before says. I walk around the teacher. When I get up to Austin, I look down at him. He knows I get mad when he hits Alex, but I cannot hit him back because I could lose my collage scholorships. Him though? He has nothing going for him in life except his loser girlfriend and Liam. The three of them are so stupid and the rumor is that Austin and Liam are being held back. Austin, Liam, Katie, and I are seniors. After all they have put the girls through, I hope they all get held back forever.

"Leave her alone Austin she never did anything to you" I say and look down at Alex who is being helped up by Dan. Dan is the only one who can stay calm when things like this happen. I stay calm but I also get mad. He is the one who always tries to see there point of views and why they are doing it.

"No, she is a bitch and a whore, she should be on the ground, thats where she belongs" Liam says in Austin's defense.

"Stop" Someone says from behind me. I turn around and see Dan sytanding with Alex behind him. "I have had enough of your bullshit. You need to get a life Liam, stop following around Austin because he is not good for you. We used to be friends, you used to be nice, I have no idea what happened to you but you need to stop. As for your bitch ass!" Dan says and points to Austin "Stay the hell away from Alex, she did nothing to you, I think if your brother knew what you were and are doing to her he would kill you. He might have been mad at her when it happened, but if there is one thing I know about any team, once you're on the team, you are family. They got along every game I saw them play. They were both forwards most of the time, they would congradulate each other when the other made a goal, so chill the hell out and get over it because last time I checked, you aren't your brother." Dan says and I look at him in shock along with the whole 11th and 12th grade. He is known to be the queit one in the group.

"I" Austin starts but is cut off by Liam

"Shut up Austin, he is one hunderate percent right, she has done nothing to you and Jimmy would kill you if he knew what you are doing to one of his past teammates. You know he is right" Liam says and now I am even more shocked.

"You're under arrest" A police man says from behind Austin "Hands behind your back" The police man says and I look at him in shock. "You are under arrest for aggravated assault to a minor" The police man says to Austin "You have the right to reamin silent, anything you say can and will be used agenst you in a court of law" He says and now I am almost laughing. Austin looks like he is going to cry, then, he does start crying.

"Please no, I will never do it again" Austin says and then is taken away. All I know now is that we are going to be hated even more. Everyone hates us and Austin was the only one who 'Stood up for the rest of the school' agenst the rest of us.

"Bye" James says and then I turn around and look at Alex. She has a big red mark on her left cheek. I look up at Liam and he is looking at her in shock also. Liam is usually the nicer of the two of them and I am shocked that he even said something to Austin.

"Justin" Liam says and then I look over at Dan. He is standing in front of Alex. She looks like she is going to pass out.

"Liam" I say then I turn back around.

"I am really sorry about what happened with Austin. I never knew he was hitting Alex. She seems like a nice girl and she is a damn good soccer player. I am really sorry for his actions towards her" Liam says

"It's okay Liam, but I don't have time to talk about this right now. I need to take her to the nurse" I say and turn around to Alex. We start walking towards the nurse when I see a police officer coming up to me. Dan and Alex are with me. James went back to the table. I can't help but feel this is my fault. If James and I hadn't come up with that plan to see if she liked me back, she never would have left and never would have gotten punched in the face by Austin. I assume he is going to ask me what happened.

"Justin Johnson?" The police officer asks

"Yes" I say

"You're under arrest for the aggravated threat towards Austin Tiller" the cop says
