"Are you serious," the man asked and leaned forward staring at my name tag. Hard.

"Well... yeah."

He shook his head and blew out a breath. "Why the fuck would your parents do that to you? Makes me wanna smack 'em."

I shrugged. "My mama ran this bakery before she died and thought it would be cute. So... you just got out of jail?" I didn't want to point out the fact he was going right back. Clearly, he wasn't the brightest bulb in the box- you know all brawn and no brain. I put the money in the bag while he pointed the gun at me with a flirtatious smile playing on his full lips. It was pretty weird to bond with a bakery robber in the middle of a robbery with a gun pointed in your face.

"Box that pound cake up for me, will ya, sweetheart?"

"Yeah, sure." We heard sirens approaching.

He smiled. "I'd love for you to come visit me in the pen." Was he serious? He was serious giving me a heated stare with those light green eyes.

I shrugged a shoulder. "Uh, sure. Why not."

The man darted a quick look over his shoulder. Then grabbed the nape of my neck and gave me the best kiss of my life. "Damn. That was so good." He was just as affected as I was and attempted to move in for another kiss, but the sirens grew even closer. "I'll see you around, Cupcakes."

"It's Muffins," I retort but of course he couldn't hear me. I waved as he dashed out of the door. I watched impassively as he was wrestled down to the ground by six cops. The cops struggled endlessly until they finally tasered him. They cuffed and hauled his big twitching ass into a police vehicle.
