he's in bed the next morning,

and he runs,

his hand down my back,

like nothing's ever happened,

and i inch away,

after he suddenly becomes awake,

as i ask where he was,

and why he wasn't home,

and he said,

it was a family emergency,

and he couldn't just leave,

and apolgized,

because i would've been suspicious otherwise.
