I made this poem for a kid at my school, who is currently in the hospital waiting for a heart transplant.

I know you're battling a sickness,

it's not easy to overcome but you've managed.

You're stronger than you'll ever know.

That beautiful soul is made of gold.

I'd walk miles for you.

Give the shirt off my back to you.

Make a smile appear on your face, to brighten up the room.

Lift your head up, you'll make it through.

Never give up, because we're here for you.
