They walked for a while, Lux pouting the whole time about Rex and Ahsoka's flirty attitudes to each other. He crossed his arms and tried to focus on something else. But then Ahsoka would laugh and Rex would look at her like she was the most precious thing in the world. Lux wished that Ahsoka would notice his attitude and try talking to him. But she didn't. She was too busy with Rex.

When they arrived back at the camp the trio stopped dead in their tracks. The tents were on fire, bodies were scattered on the ground, and people weeping filled the silence. Ahsoka stood with her mouth open, while Lux rushed over in horror. He ran to one boy in particular, Ahsoka saw him talking with the boy earlier. The boy was lying on the ground, writhing. Lux pulled him up and into his arms. Snapping out of her trance, Ahsoka ran over to the pair with Rex close behind.

"Trey what happened?" Lux asked, flustered.

"We didn't even see it coming..." Trey rasped, eyes fluttering, "They took the children.... for their army"

"Who?" Lux asked, choking on his words.

"The Empire"

Ahsoka felt a shiver cover her entire body. She scooted just a little closer to Rex. He noticed her fear and wrapped an arm around her. The Empire knew they were here. They had to get off Onderon, fast.

Trey went on, "They were led by someone covered in this black armor. He had a red light saber and choked anyone who resist-"

Trey went into a coughing fit and Ahsoka's eyes grew wide. Anakin. Ahsoka clasped a hand over her mouth to stifle a cry of terror. Rex looked to her with worried eyes, his lip curled in anger.

"What was his name?" Lux pressed.

"It was-" Trey muttered, "Vader..."

Ahsoka flinched and buried her face in Rex's chest. Trey's body went limp in Lux's arms and his harsh breathing stopped. Lux squeezed his eyes shut and bit his lip. He could barely stand to look at his friend. He closed Trey's eyes with his fingers and gently laid him back down on the ground.

"Lux-" Ahsoka started, but he cut her off.

"The Empire will pay" Trey sputtered, "So will whoever this Vader is"

"They came here looking for us" Rex pointed, "We need to find a ship and leave as soon as possible"

"So you're the reason why they came here?" Lux snarled, his brows knit.

"Look kid, we need to get out of here so no one else gets hurt" Rex started, "Do you know where we can find a place to buy a ship?"

Lux scoffed, "You brought them here"

Lux stomped towards Rex, trying his best to look intimidating.

"I'm sorry Lux we had no idea" Ahsoka muttered putting a hand on his shoulder.

He shoved it off and turned his gaze to Ahsoka.

"I trusted you!" he cried, "I helped your friend and gave you a place to stay! And this is how you repay me?"

"Lux please!" Ahsoka pleaded, "I'm so sorry!"

Lux scrunched up his face, a tear falling down his rough cheek. He threw one last glare at the pair before dashing to help the survivors. Ahsoka and Rex did the same. Thankfully the medical tent was still standing, though it looked pretty rough. Lux, Rex, and Ahsoka helped to get the injured to the medical tent, calling over nurses and doctors. By the time they were finished the large tent was packed, full with patients.

Lux couldn't stomach what had happened. He hadn't been here when these people needed him most. He hadn't been here when Trey needed him. Trey had been his best friend and had helped set up this camp. Just the thought of being without him made Lux feel sick. He wished Ahsoka and Rex had never crashed here in the first place. Then all of this wouldn't have happened. It was all their fault. All Rex's fault. Even though Lux knew it wasn't true, it helped in a way to blame his mistake on someone else. Especially Rex.

As Ahsoka was walking around looking for any other survivors, she noticed the many bodies that covered the dusty ground. She sucked in a breath and peeled her eyes away from the sight. If only she would have been there to help. Then she could have saved these people. But she wasn't. Ahsoka choked back a sob as she saw some children on the ground as well. She knelt by one to see a blaster shot burning through the child's chest. He was on his stomach, his limbs sprawled out in a sickening way. She scrambled to her feet and quickly made her way back to the medical tent.

Rex stayed in the medical tent, not daring to go outside. Just seeing the damage done reminded him of the war. All the brothers he lost, killed by clankers or in explosions while fighting the separatists. He shook off the growing pain in his heart and shifted his weight. Many patients groaned while others cried out in pain. The smell in the tent was nauseating, but it was better than seeing the bodies. He could just picture them as his brothers. Fives, Hardcase, Tup, Jesse, Kix, Cody. Rex squeezed his eyes shut and ran a hand over his head. They were all...gone.

Ahsoka walked in the tent, her eyes misty. Rex opened his arms and she ran into them, welcoming the warmth of his skin. Rex stroked her lekku, a comforting gesture. Neither had to say anything to express what they were feeling at the moment. The pain they felt in their very hearts. Lux stumbled into the tent, helping a man with an injured leg. He glanced over at Rex and Ahsoka quickly before leading the man to a cot. After that he walked over to them, his head hung low.

"So you wanna buy a ship?" he muttered.

Rex nodded solemnly, "Yeah"

"Follow me," Lux said with a sigh.

They walked out of the tent and followed a small dirt path that led to a small city. The trip was silent. No one said anything, they didn't want to. Rex could see the small buildings from the camp, but up close they were a lot bigger. They arrived at an entrance, which was more or less just a door. Lux opened it and waved Ahsoka and Rex in the doorway. They followed and came upon a bustling marketplace. Everyone's mood seemed to change, except Lux's. He was still angry, sad, and guilty. All he wanted to do at the moment was sit down against a wall, curl up into a ball, and cry while feeling sorry for himself. But as much as he didn't want to, he had to help Rex and Ahsoka.

There were little stands and carts set up everywhere. Each had someone shouting a bargain or yelling their product. Ahsoka's eyes darted everywhere, not knowing how so many people could fit on the sides of the street.

"This way" Lux muttered.

They followed him past many stands and tents, to yet another section of shops. These people were more shady. Some possessed weapons, others with animal skins and nasty looks. Ahsoka swallowed hard, not wanting to stray too far from Lux. They finally arrived at a stand with a large, green, skrilling. He sneered as Lux walked up to him, Lux being tiny compared to the brute.

"Hey Garm" Lux blurted out.

"Lux" Garm said in a hoarse, slithery, voice, "What do ya want?"

Lux nodded to Rex and Ahsoka, motioning for them to speak. Ahsoka stepped forward, pushing down her growing fear.

"Me and my friend are actually the ones who are in need of a ship" she said, getting right to the point.

Garm smirked, "And why is that?"

"Ours crashed here" Rex explained, "So do you have one for us or not?"

"Slow down there clone" the skrilling scoffed, rolling his eyes, "I've got a ship. But the real question is, do you have the money?"

Rex looked surprised at his remark, but shut his mouth quickly. Rex wondered if Garm had been in the war. Or maybe he had seen a clone before. How else would he have recognized that he was a clone.

"How much?" Ahsoka asked, crossing her arms.

"Twenty-thousand credits" the man said, cocking his head.

"That's ridiculous!" Rex sputtered.

"A price for such a ship. Which is, and I'm just guessing here, vital to your survival?" Garm snorted, rolling his eyes.

"Come on Ahsoka we can find a better deal somewhere else" Rex growled tugging at her arm.

Garm jeered, "You won't find anyone else selling a ship here. Only me"

Rex looked enraged and opened his mouth, but closed it when Ahsoka put a hand on his shoulder. She gave him a look as if to say "Don't mess this up"

"Are you sure there isn't any way you could just alter the price a little bit?" Lux asked, "Please"

Garm sighed, contemplating his decisions. Lux had been his customer for some time now. He could lose him, which would basically turn his business upside down.

"Fine fifteen-thousand. But that's final!" he growled, waving a chubby finger, "Only for you Lux"

"How are we supposed to get this money?" Ahsoka asked Lux.

Lux bit his lip, avoiding Ahsoka's eyes. She wasn't going to like what he was about to tell her.

"Labor" he said, his voice breaking the slightest bit.
