《Home | The Originals》Chapter 28: Kidnapped (Again)

I was leaving my shop and locking the doors. It was a bit chilly out here tonight and I had nothing to do. I found one of those things that I can wrap around body and it will hold Angel up to my chest. I think it was called a baby carrier or something. Once I was done locking the door I turned around but came to a stop when I saw this redhead standing in front of me. "Who are you and what do you want?" I asked her.
"My name is Genevieve. And I'm here to help you with your mystery." She told me.
This Genevieve started to chant a spell and I became on high alert. I went to speed away but I ran into another witch who was also chanting. My vision started to get blurry but I wasn't about to go down without a fight.
I sped up to the random witch and snapped his neck and sped towards Genevieve, but before I could reach her I fell to the floor unconscious. Before I was completely gone I chanted a spell and teleported my baby towards the one person I trust her with.
~3rd person~
Genevieve caught Phoenix before she could fall to the ground. A group of witches came out the shadows and began to carry Phoenix with them.
~~~
Elijah was walking through the woods in search for his sister Rebekah when he came across a few dead werewolves and a black jacket. He picked it up to inspect it when he heard someone walking towards him.
"Missing something?" Sabine who is now revealed as Celeste said. Elijah immediately stood up and got into a defensive stance as he throws away the jacket.
"You won't hurt me. I'm the only one alive who can break the curse on Hayley's family. And Genevieve knows where your sister is. She also got the lovely Phoenix." Celeste said. Said witch came to stand next to Celeste. "Bastiana has Klaus tucked away someplace safe." Bastiana came to stand on the other side of Celeste. "He's suffering horribly, I might add, and all because you chose to save the little wolf instead of your own blood." Celeste mocked.
Elijah took a step forward but Celeste held her hand out at him. Elijah yells as one of his bones broke. He fell to the ground. "What a horrific ending..." Celeste said then she closed her hand and Elijah yells out even more as another bone in his body breaks. "To your pathetic diseased family." Céleste held her hand out again and Elijah groans out in pain. "I guess "always" isn't forever after all."
~~~
"Marcel!" Elijah yelled as he storms into the Abattoir. "Where is my brother?" He asked.
Marcel was standing with a group of night walkers as they try to figure out where Klaus was taken. "I got guys out looking for him right now." Marcel said.
Elijah stopped walking and stood in front of the group. He grabbed one vampire and threw him against a wall and then another up towards the balcony wall.
"Elijah!" Hayley reprimanded him as she watch Elijah toss those vampires like it was nothing. Hayley has came out of her room holding onto Angel as she had magically appeared next to her.
"Klaus threw one of his classic temper tantrums, snapped my neck, tried to take on a coven of witches by himself. He got dropped. I don't know where he is or how to find him." Marcel told Elijah.
"They also have Rebekah and Phoenix." Elijah said. "Every one of you will help me to find them." He pointed to every vampire that was here with them. Elijah looked back at Marcel. "I'm going to kill them all."

Wolf's Tail Reboot

My stomach was slashed open in a flash, and I bled out. I was ready for death; I had been since I was first collared. I was even happy to sleep an eternal rest. I just didn't realize that death was my opportunity to really live. -------------------------- Author's Note: I don't plan on having any explicit sexual content, but the tag is on so that I won't feel restrained in my writings. Also, the updates will be sporadic at best since I can only write when I'm free which is, unfortunately, rare.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions.It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment.
