For the first time, Taehyung lost in a hunting practice. Yoongi managed to bring their prey.
But Taehyung doesn't care. There are other things that are more important today.
He didn't even answer when Jimin asked why he failed this time. He was just silent.
Until they can go home and he returns to his house— Taehyung refuses to talk to anyone. While his colleagues only guessed that Alpha might be in a bad mood.
After cleaning himself and changing into loose mocca colored pants and a long white top that was just as loose— Taehyung sat back down on the bed. He was just silent. Brooding because his head is still difficult to forget. He wanted to dodge it and took the incident this afternoon as an illusion but when he touched his stomach again, the beat returned.
Does that mean that tomorrow Jeongguk will really pick him up? Is he leaving here? Is there really no other way?
Does he really want to keep Jeongguk's son?
Didn't he really want to kill her and make things easier?
Taehyung fucked. Failed to be a good Alpha for his family.
What will the father think? Will he be hated?
Someone knock on his door made Taehyung wake up. He wiped his face once before getting out of bed.
His mother's smile was the first thing Taehyung saw when he opened the door.
"It's dinner time. Get out and join your friends. They're going to sleep here tonight."
Taehyung just nodded. The main house where Alpha's leader lived was indeed much bigger.
Sometimes several pack members come and occupy empty rooms there. Taehyung usually likes that. But somehow he wasn't happy. Today he longed to be gone and alone.
Once he got to the dining room, sure enough. Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin are already sitting at the dinner table with their father. Taehyung tried to smile.
"You are okay?"
Jaesik's voice jerked Taehyung who had just sat beside his mother.
"Yes, Dad. I'm fine."
"But your face says no. What's wrong Taehyung?"
Taehyung bit his lip. Can't they not ask? He was still confused himself. He wasn't sure he could argue right now.

"Taehyung. Answer when dad asked. Are you sick? Why is your face so pale?"
"—If you refuse to talk daddy will call the doctor over here." Jaesik continued.
Taehyung shook his head. His heart was pounding. Without realizing it, his two hands hugged his own stomach. Should not. No pack members other than their families should know. He doesn't trust anyone. What if they reveal the truth?
"Sorry, but I'm really fine. Shall we start eating first?" Taehyung's voice is low. Not even looking at his father.
"Only if we keep talking after eating."
Taehyung cut his own hand. Should he confess? Or wait for Jeongguk until tomorrow?
"Taehyung?"
"Fine, Dad."
Taehyung finally gave up— Nodding.
A little grateful when everything can be quiet and not even a single friend asks. Let him calm down. At least if he has to confess then let him breathe calmly first.
Once they finished eating, and the waiter finished clearing the table. The six of them were still there.
Taehyung knew that if he could just keep up the attitude Jeongguk ordered, his family wouldn't ask.
But how can he be calm? Anyone in position will be just as frantic.
"Taehyung. You know, if there is the slightest problem you can ask our help. You are still our beloved son and your friends are your brother regardless of what your status is now Taehyung." Jihyun's soft voice made Taehyung crouch.
He could feel his back being stroked. "Hoseok said you didn't speak at all after coming back from the forest. You're even pale, are you hurt?" Luna asked again.
Taehyung looked at his friends. They gave a subtle glare. Does it seem that bad now?
"D-do wolves hate vampires?" Taehyung asked doubtfully. He looked at his father.
"It depends. Whether they're teasing or not." Jaesik's answer made Taehyung sigh heavily.
If you think about it, he was the one who initially challenged Jeongguk. He's the one who got himself into trouble. Taehyung regretted his actions even more.
"What's wrong Taehyung? Haven't we fought them many times? Did you meet one of them and lost this time?" Now it's Hoseok's turn to try to ask questions.

Taehyung tried to smile. "No. I didn't fight today." He said.
"—But I talked to one of them." Taehyung connected.
It's quiet. Nobody spoke and Taehyung bit his lip before getting up. Bringing a look even more confused than the others.
"T- this can prove. Sorry I lied to you all a month ago." Taehyung pulled down his loose shirt collar to his shoulders. Remove the bandage that he put on to cover the sign from Jeongguk.
With that, the two foreign dots on Taehyung's shoulders grabbed attention.
Jimin even got up from his chair to confirm and touch it.
"So that's what you've been covering up all this time? Tell me who dared to bite you ?!"Taehyung was silent again.
"Which clan, Taehyung? Are you okay? Did the bite leave poison?"
Taehyung sat back down. Jimin who was beside him finally remained on the bench next to him."Origin. Jeon Jeongguk."
Taehyung flinched when Jaesik got up from his chair. Walk towards him with a frown.
Taehyung didn't even have time to ask when his arm was pulled. Make him get back up from the chair facing his father.
"Origin doesn't mark its prey unless they're interested, Taehyung." Jaesik's deep voice echoed.
Taehyung bit his lip frantically. Should he be honest? Would it be better to be honest?
"Say— What happened other than him biting you?"
Pinched shoulders. Taehyung was forced to look his father's eyes. Taehyung knew, rather than getting angry— Jaesik looked more worried.
"We did-"
Even though Taehyung's answer wasn't clear— But his low voice was able to make the five people there froze.
Jaesik's hand went down. The Alpha swallowed hard. Feeling his throat dry suddenly.
"Taehyung— What kind of nonsense is that ?!"
Taehyung shook his head. Rush kneeled in front of his father. He ducked. Her voice trembled.
"Forgive Taehyung, Father."
Meanwhile Jihyun kept her mouth shut. Totally do not believe what she heard.
Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin glared half mad. How come. They just heard that Kim Taehyung 'spent the night' with a vampire who they all knew was someone Taehyung didn't like. The boy was always looking for trouble and even killed some wild vampires. Then now the young Alpha is on his knees confessing about his activities with one of the Origin status vampires.
"Sorry." Taehyung said again. He was angry, because he wanted so badly to quit. Want to be quiet again and not confess.
He is embarrassed. Of course.
Jaesik closed his eyes, massaged the bridge of his nose.
"Does anyone know?" He asked softly. This time trying to be more calm.
Taehyung seemed to be shaking his head.
"Good. Don't let anyone find out. I hope I can trust you."
Without even staring, Taehyung's three friends understood that the words were for them. Of course they could not open their mouths. Regardless of how deadly Jaesik's gaze was, they knew Taehyung was a strong child, a future successor to their father they were proud of. Just because he's been in a relationship with a vampire doesn't mean Taehyung has lost everything right?
"We'll be quiet." Yoongi replied.
Meanwhile, Jihyun who saw the son was still kneeling— Could not help but get up from his chair. Hugging Taehyung's body. "Hey, it's okay. We can forget about this problem, hm? Don't think about anything anymore. Get up." Subtle persuasion.
But Taehyung ducked even more. He touched his mother's arm, pulled her hand toward his stomach.
Jihyun was confused. But when she strained she hearing she could feel a beat under her hand. her eyes widened when he caught what her son meant.
"What is wrong?" Jaesik's voice came back.
Jihyun looked at Alphanya. Unconsciously her cheeks were wet. Confused what to say. Only one kept ringing— What will happen to her son later?
"Looks like— Origin left its offspring to our Alpha." Hearing Luna's utterance, Jaesik froze in his place.

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
