Charlie is making me go to Aleera's birthday party. I don't really want to go, I would rather be with Edward. But I also know that I need to gain her trust again. I am currently at the Cullen's house talking with Edward.

"Tell him you don't want to go!" Edward says anger in his voice.

"I can't, he already told me that I have to go, because she is my cousin and it is her birthday." I state back to him. "Look I'm not happy about it. I don't want to be there with all of her friends. I mean the only person that will talk to me is her cousin Jacob." I say with sadness in my voice. I know Aleera's boyfriend doesn't like me, and her best friend Jared has always hated me.

"I don't want you to go. I could talk to your dad. Make up a lie or something." He says sitting down next to me.

"It won't work. Charlie said no matter what I am going." I say to him with anger. "I better get going." as I stand to leave.

We arrive at Billy Blacks house, Charlie helps me out of the car as Jacob comes from around the back of the House. "Hey Charlie...Bella, glad you could make it." Jacob says smiling from ear to ear at me.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world. Right Bells?" Charlie says as I nod my head. "Jake can you help Bella to the Back yard please." Charlie asks as he moves to grab her gift out of the car.

"Sure thing." Jacob says as he puts an arm around my waist helping me walk to the back yard.

"Hey Jake? What can you tell me about Aleera's boyfriend Paul I think his name is?" I ask while sitting down on a log by a fire.

"You mean you have never met him?" Jake asks as I nod my head. "Well his the La Push hot head, he was also La Pushes man whore. Only dated a girl till she put out that all changed when Aleera came home. Now it's all about Aleera." Jake says while rubbing the back of his neck.

"What do you mean his the La Push hot head?" I question looking into the fire. I need to get as much information about him to use against her.

"I mean that he fights a lot. Anything could set him off. The only person that has ever... and I mean ever been able to calm him down has been Aleera and that goes back to when they were babies. Everyone has always said that their souls were bonded together, that is why when Aleera is around he is calm. Because they are each other's halves ." Jake says glaring into the fire. 'That is who my uncle Jason wanted to keep her from.' I mentally note.

"You don't like him do you?" I ask as Jake shakes his head no at me. I was about to ask another question when I saw Aleera and Paul walking across the back year. They say hellos and Aleera walks over to me.

"Hello Bella, how are you?" She says with a sweet smile. 'God I hate you! you have everything that should be mine!' I mentally yell at her.

"I'm ok! I was hoping we could talk?" I say looking over to where Paul and Jared are standing. He is cute. I will give her that.

"I'll give you two some space." Jacob says as he walks away.

"What do you want to talk about?" She says with no emotion in my voice. Arms crossed over her chest.

"How do you know that Edward is a vampire?" I ask with fear in my voice as I play with my hands.

"That was easy. You talk in your sleep a lot about him. All I had to do was ask questions" She says as she sets on the log next to me.

"Oh!! I know you aren't happy with my choice in boyfriends, but I don't want to lose you at the same time. Edward said that you won't consider us family as long as I am with him. Is that true?" I ask, frowning at her.

"Yes it's true I don't like him... Well it's more like I hate him." She state emotionless. "You have acted as if I am not your family since we came here. And it is all because of him. So as long as you are with him, it will remain that way. I will never be ok with you being with him solely for what he is and what he truly wants from you. You have put mine and Charlie's lives in danger for your own selfish reasons. He is a monster." She state glaring at me. 'Have I really acted that way? I need to fix this my mom said she is running low on money and need Aleera to send her more' I think to myself

"He's not a monster. He doesn't hunt people." I say sadness in her voice. 'ok he did in the past, but that was different. Right!' I think.

"Ever? He has never tasted human blood? Taken a human life." She questions, my silence says it all. "Like I said he is a monster! And you don't care that you are putting Charlies and my life at risk." She says as Paul walks up to us. 'I mean your life no I don't your not ever my real family' I mentally yell at her.

"Aleera, babe time to eat." Paul says pulling her up from the log away from me..

I walked away from Bella and Aleera, so they could talk. I know things have been weird between Aleera and Bella, due to Bella's boyfriend. I overheard Aleera talking to my dad one day. When I hear Jared and Paul talking so I listen in.

"What the fuck is she doing here?" He asks pulling Kim closer. 'What the hell is his problem now with Bella' I think looking back at Aleera and Bella.

"I wish I knew but she is up to something." Paul states looking at Aleera. 'What would Bella be up to?' I ask myself.

"Jared is everything ok?" Kim asks him as he glares at Bella. "Why are you glaring at the girl talking with Aleera? Who is she?" Kim asks looking from Bella to Jared.

"That's Bella, Aleera's cousin. She's a blood sucking leech lover. She has also treated Aleera like shit since they moved back. I don't like her! You should stay away from her as well." He say with venom laced in my voice. 'Wait what? Bella has been treating her like shit? And what does he mean blood sucking leech lover?' I have so many questions to ask Aleera now.

"She can't be that bad? Can she?" She asks.

"The only reason Aleera is even talking to her is because her uncle Charlie is here, and she doesn't want to upset him." Jared states still glaring at Bella. I look over to Bella as Paul is pulling Aleera away for food.

"I have to go get her! The mutts will hurt her." I say to my family. Emmett and Jasper block the door from me. "They already told her about us!" I yell trying to get out of the house.

"Edward, she will be fine. I've seen it." Alice says placing a hand on my shoulder.

"We can't let you start a war, because she went to her cousins birthday party." Rosalie says glaring at me. My phone starts to ring.

"Thank god, it's Bella." I say picking up my phone. "Bella are you alright? Did they hurt you?" I question fear in my voice. Rosalie rolls her eyes at me.

"I'm fine Edward. A little sad because you were right. She won't see me as family as long as I'm with you. She called you a monster and said that I am being selfish for wanting you to stay over all the time." She says almost as if she is crying.

"Bella it's ok, just come over. So I can make sure you are ok." I say almost everyone rolls their eyes at me. 'I know I am being over protective right now.' I think to myself.

"Ok I will be there in 15 minutes." she says hanging up the phone.
