Today was the 3rd of august and her debut would be on her birthday, the 29th of October.

'it seems i don't have much time left. But Evelina and Chase already met so I guess I need not to worry too much'

Even though Evelina and Chase had already met and Angelina would not do the stupid harassment she did in the past anymore. But she knows Evelina would not stop until Angelina met a terrible end. So Angelina still has to prepare.

It's basically a dog eat dog situation

And only one will remain victorious

And Angelina intends it to be her. Even if she will die again in the process, she will drag Evelina down to hell with her.

"Oh okay" the simple and naive Marie didn't think about it any further.

The things Angelina needed to do was, get money, form connections with powerful or useful nobles, expand her influence by buying property or shops and most importantly....slowly torturing Evelina!

Today Evelina and Angelina's older brother, the heir of the Skyler household, Alex Van Skyler would be returning.

The mansion was full of bustling. The servants were cleaning the mansion and the entrance.

Evelina was very excited. Angelina pretended to be happy, but on the inside she merely wanted to roll her eyes.

The duchess seemed to be at peace. She loved it when her children got along.

Evelina was excited, because her brother also hated Angelina. The original Angelina and Alex didn't really spend time with each other since Angelina was sent away at a young age.

So Alex had almost no knowledge of Angelina's personality. Evelina took this to her advantage and wrote letter telling bad things about Angelina.

Her brother was furious and immediately hated Angelina.

The three ladies gathered outside the mansion to wait for his arrival.

They could see a carridge coming towards them from afar.

The carridge stopped and a handsome young man stepped out of the carriage. He had blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Brother!" As soon as he got out, Evelina rushed towards him and hugged him.

"How are you doing my sister?" He asked in a gentle tone.

"I'm well"

Then he glanced at Angelina.

"Lex this is you youngest sister, Angelina. You haven't seen each other in years. I bet your suprised of how much she's grown haha" the Duchess call Alex by his nickname.

"It nice to finally meet you again, brother" Angelina politely greeted Alex

"Hmph" he coldly turned away

"Lex!" The duchess was shocked. Was Alex always this rude!?

'pfft...your just a dog. No different from you sister' Angelina mocked him in her heart, but a sweet smile was plastered on her face.

She wouldn't let a perfect chance like this go to waste!

She tugged at the Duchess's dress and said with a pityful expression "it's alright mother...brother is probably just tired from the trip.."

"Lina..." The duchess felt angry that her daughter was treated in such a way. Her daughter finally returned! And yet was treated so badly by her brother!

"Don't think about it too much lina..your brother truly loves you in the inside.."

"I understand mother" Angelina smiled, but that smile couldn't hide her sadness in her eyes. Of course this was on purpose.

".... I'll tell your brother to apologise. He's no longer a child now! He shouldn't be so rude to his own sister!"

"Don't be mad at brother, mother..." Evelina spoke

The duchess sighed "let's just head in..."

They ate together in the dining room. They mostly asked about Alex's experience.

After the meal, the duchess went back to her study to deal with her paperwork, while Angelina and Evelina was left with their elder brother.

"Sister, why don't the three of us take a stroll in the garden. I heard that the flowers were in full bloom!" Evelina spoke to Angelina with a hopeful look

"You don't need to talk to her Eve! Why would you still hang around her! She's too cruel and evil!" Alex pulled Evelina back by her wrist.

"Brother...."

Angelina was confused for a second and immediately caught on. Evelina must've spoke behind her back to Alex!

'tsk...old trick...!'

Alex was always annoying in her eyes. When she was Lilith, he would always bother her and mock her. And that he hates her again, she no longer wanted to bother pretending.

She rolled her eyes at them and walked away.

"You!"

"...."

They both were confused. Alex was furious, and Evelina was puzzled why Angelina acted the way she did. Evelina wanted Angelina to be upset and trow a tantrum and deepen Alex's hatred.

"Stop right there!" Alex grabbed her by Angelina's wrist.

"What...?" She said in an annoyed tone

"You!.... don't think I'll let you off for what you keep doing to my sister!"

"Hmm? What did I do?"

"Shouldn't you know!?"

"Hmph..I guess it was so unimportant that I have forgotten.. " she rolled her eyes at him

"How dare you say that!"

Angelina let out a big sigh and glared at him, signalling him to let her go.

He froze and was stunned. It felt like his whole body became paralyzed. He felt chills down his spine and even cletching his teeth to prevent his body from shaking.

"Y...you..."

"I what?" Angelina was starting to be really annoyed. If she could she would kick him away, but she can't.

Evelina was rather shocked and angry at Angelina's behavior.

'she... she's so rude! What a rude and dumb b*tch!' Evelina thought to herself

Alex tried to calm himself and was about to speak again, when he blinked for a moment and found himself on the floor with Evelina beside him.

Angelina actually used the traveling soul. She made him fall so far that he hit the wall.

"Brother, are you alright!? Why did you suddenly push yourself!?" Evelina was freaked out. Alex suddenly let go of Angelina's hand and pushed himself down.

"Oh my...are you alright brother..?" Angelina covered her mouth with her palm and pretended to look shocked. Her act was rather obvious, which she did on purpose. She wanted to annoy and anger them. She was done playing nice.

"You! Sister! How could you push our brother!..."

"What me? But I clearly didn't do anything" she said looking wronged but she had a hint of a smile

"You..."

Before Evelina could say anything, Angelina left.

The brother and sister were left alone confused and angry.

Angelina was walking to her bedroom when she heard footsteps from behind. She could already guess who it was. She sighed.

Evelina ran to her looking furious.

"Sister! How could you! Our brother is injured now!"

"Tsk...Evelina " Angelina glared at her as if she was looking at a disgusting bug.

Evelina took 2 steps back in fear. She tried to keep her composure though. But suddenly she was pushed against the wall.

Angelina's hands were placed on both sides of Evelina, cornering her.

Angelina smirked "Evelina Van Skyler... I don't like you, frankly I hate you...."

Evelina was shocked but she did not dare move

"And you don't like me too. So why don't we stop this little play and I'm just going to say it..."

"We both hate each other." Angelina finally said what she's been burying in her heart

Angelina moved one of her hands and squeezed Evelina's jaw.

"You fool. You stupid little dirty pig. I'm done playing nice with you. I'm very tired of forcing myself to smile at you."

"I'm done, Evelina. I won't be pretending anymore." Angelina increased the strength of her hand that was squeezing Evelina's jaw and let out a big cold smile " let me make this clear.... "
