I: Welcome to Mystic Academy
I was woken up by the loud construction noise outside the house.. Ours is a simple one-story with a living room, small kitchen, small bathroom and two rooms that are enough for me and my parents..
Ugh.. I hate it when our neighbors do something new with their houses.. They have something to boast about again.. And then the next day, the other neighbor will renovate also and the cycle goooooooooeees on.
It's a good thing that this upcoming school year, I will stay at a boarding school! I've passed a scholarship where all is free except for my personal things! Well, you could say that my family is not financially stable that is why I needed this..
I'm happy yet sad.. Yes, we won't have that much expenses and I helped my parents but I will also be away from them..
"Yeonwoo!!" I heard my mom called my name.. Aaaah! I'm not ready yet! I don't to leave here yet!
I covered myself with my blanket and acted like I'm still asleep
"Yeonwoo, I know you're awake, come on, it's time to get up and get ready.." She said with her ever soothing voice. Ugh. I'll miss her.
I abruptly got up that my hair swayed and covered my whole face that my mom arranged while chuckling.
"I know it will be hard.. But you can do it, right? It's for your future, okay? Just remember that me and your dad will always support and love you. We will always be here for you." She said while combing my hair with her fingers. I almost cried but I managed to stop myself.
"Let's go and get ready" she said as she stood up and left my room. I have no choice but to follow her.

My mom speaks as she hugs me. I got teary eyed but I forced myself not to cry.. The school is 5 hours from here so it will be hard for me to go home if I want to.
He said then did a high-five with me that made me laugh.
I ran to them and hugged them before I go.. I heard my dad sniffle but I just ignored it. I let go of the hug and finally got inside the bus.

I safely got here and I'm currently finding my room when I bumped into someone.
He shouted. I looked at him and almost gawked at what I saw. He's tall, compared to my height. And he's very,very,very handsome. He looks like a Greek God.
He suddenly grinned at me.

We're finally here and so we farewelled.. Now that I think about it, I haven't catch his name.. Oh well, this won't be the last time I'll see him.
I went inside and looked for anyone but it seems like nobody's here. Lucky!
I immediately arranged my things when I felt the need to use the comfort room..
I was about to open the door when it opened itself and I got bumped.
I exclaimed while rubbing my forehead. I looked up and a tall black haired guy has surprised me.
His deep voice has echoed to my mind.. It feels like the time has slowed down as he wipe his wet her.. I slowly looked down *gulps* h-he only wears a towel..

I got back to my senses when I heard him speak again. I shook my head.. UGH. I NEED TO BE USED IN SEEING THINGS LIKE THIS.
He nonchalantly stated and began to walk to his bed..
I need to be used to this.. I'm at an all-boys school. Aish! I should not be distracted with those things or I'll be doomed if they knew that I'm a girl!
I got out of the bathroom and sensed that I'm being watched by someone.. Despite of it, I quietly went to my bed and arranged my things.. But I can't concentrate! So I decided to fake a cough.
He said without pausing. I just nodded as I reply and finally, he stopped glaring at me
Aigoo.. I'm with a monster.. I can just feel that he's rude and unemotional. Aish! What will happen to me tomorrow?!?!

I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
