《After Dark》Chapter 19*

William sat with his arms spread across the back of the couch. He looked down as a girl's head bobbed up and down over his lap. With each suckle he felt sensations that caused him to buck his hips. He hoped for some more satisfaction, but no such thing would come to him. At that point, he decided to give up.
"Hey, hey, it's alright." William told the prostitute. With a pop, his erection was removed from her mouth.
The black girl lifted her face from hips lap, her fingertips smoothly wiped over her lips. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, it's no problem." William reached in his pocket and took out a wad of money. After counting it out, he reached it toward her. The girl was confused, usually she had to finish someone off before she got paid. She was reluctant to take the cash. "Go ahead. Take it."
She looked over to the Madame who watched from across the room. She wanted to take the money, but was unsure if she'd actually be able to keep it. "But this is more than I charge."
William looked in the direction that the prostitute stared and saw the Madame. He understood her reluctance, so he leaned closely to her. "Listen, it's alright. I'll make sure it's all yours."
Slowly she removed the money from William's hand and took it. Then she swiftly walked off with the cash. The Madame came over after their little exchange..
"William, I notice you haven't been getting your pay's worth from my girls lately." The Madame mentioned. "Would you like to change it up a bit? Maybe have them do something else?"
"It's not your girls at all." William told her. "I've had something on my mind, that's all. Might as well give them something to feel good about."

While standing there, the Madame smelled the alcohol on William's breath. "I never took you as someone to drink very much."
"There's many things in my life that haven't been the same." He saluted her with two fingers, then leaned back in his seat. Lazily, he took his limp cock and placed it back into his underwear, zipping up his pants. The look of dejection on his face was obvious.
"I hate to see you like this, McGill." Connor told William. "It isn't like you."
"When I don't have her, I always feel empty. I always search for people who remind me of her. What's so different now?" William asked.
"The difference is that this time she's not coming back. You can't spend your rest of your life chasing black girls trying to get the same feeling." Connor told William.
William felt his blood begin to boil, his throat became tight. Suddenly he jumped up from his seat and stood over Connor. "You think that's what it is? I'm trying to replace her?"
"No—" Connor answered, but William was inconsolable.
"You think any of these whores can replace her!?" William shouted. "I love her! These girls have nothing on her!"
"Calm down, William. I didn't mean it in that way." Connor tried to reason with him. "Just sit for a bit."
After catching his breath, William sat back down in his seat. In that moment, Bunny truly didn't have anything to add to the conversation. But just out of anger, and knowing his dislike for Eliza, William targeted him. "You short, motherfucker!"
"William, we have to talk business." Connor told him. "You've slacked off enough lately. If you continue like this, they'll bump you off."
"How do you expect us to talk business in a whore house?" William asked Connor lazily.

Connor looked around, then answered calmly. "You're the one who asked to come here."
William squeezed his nose bridge with his fingers, then waved his arm in anger. "Fuck!"
Upstairs, Jack had his face buried deep in his Pervuian girl's ass. She moaned out as he licked around her asshole. She gripped the sheets and poked her ass up, giving him more access to her. He was entirely taken by her, fascinated by the girl who refused to tell him her name.
Afterward, they both laid together in bed. After chatting for a while, Jack felt entirely captivated. They laid there with his arm around her and she played with the few chest hairs he had.
"They're new." He commented looking down at them. "Like it?"
"I love it!" She exclaimed in her accent, placing her teeth on his chest for a moment. Then she let her finger run down his chest and over his nipple. "Jack, I must ask. Are you in the gangs with the others?"
Jack knew it was against the rules to discuss such things with outsiders. But if he was being entirely honest with him, it was the one interesting thing about him. And so he saw no harm in telling her a little about it.
"Yes, I am." He answered. "It's a little dangerous but it pays well."
"Do you make a lot of money?" She asked him excitedly.
Jack paused for a moment, questioning what his answer should be. Vanity got the best of him, and so he stretched the truth. "Of course, we all do."
"As much as the main one?" She asked him.
"Main one? Oh, William." Jack realized. "Eh, I guess you can say that. Yeah, yeah. You know, I do make as much money as him."
She paused for a moment and thought about it, then looked into his eyes almost as if she needed confirmation. "Really?"
"What? You don't believe me?" He asked nervously. "You know, if you were my girl I'd give you everything."
"Is that so?" She tapped on his chest with her finger. "Well then, tell me more about it."
Jack was a little nervous to discuss it, but he didn't want to let her down. "Well, what do you want to know?"
"Do you guys move alcohol?" She asked.
"I do." Jack answered, as though it was be alone who bootlegs supply.
"How do you do it? I mean, sorry my English, where?" She asked.
"Usually down in the city. Particularly by Cone Island. But sometimes we bring it down the Hudson too. Somethings we go to Jersey." He went on. "In fact, this weekend we're gonna move it from Coney to Connecticut."
"Is that so?" She asked. "I'm sure you have to go out there really late."
"Oh yeah, well into the early morning. You don't want the cops to see." Jack continued. "It's a dangerous job, but we get it done."
"That's so interesting." She smiled. "Tell me even more about it!"
Jack laughed. "Well what do you want to know?"
