《Korean Language 101》Formal/Informal

South Korea, like many other asian countries, gives great importance to social values like respect, modesty and more up to a huge extent.

Before bitterly laughing, read this. Korean language has two parts. Formal and informal.

Formal is used with teachers, bosses, parents, colleagues, strangers, anyone elder than you- months, days or years, even with your spouse you have to speak the formal language.

Being informal with all of the above is considered rude and disrespectful. So watch out. However you can speak informal language with you close friends or those who are younger than you.

If you are an asian, you know. Its not just South Korean culture. Its in many other countries as well.

Now I am not very good at formal korean but... we'll learn together.

What formal korean and informal korean system are called, we'll learn in the next LHTR case.

Till then 가!

Lol sorry XP
