So I hope you practiced case 1 well. Only then would you be able to understand case 2.

Learn how to read (case 2):

Consonant (C)

Vowel (V)

=

C

V

Examples:

ㄷ(C)

ㅗ(V)

=

C

V

도 means too.

We learnt 너 in the last lesson. If we write 너+도, it becomes 너도= you too.

주다 is a verb that means "to give"

Let's break it apart lol

ㅈ(C)

ㅜ(V)

=

C

V

And

ㄷ(C) + ㅏ(V) =다 (CV)

Therefore, 주 + 다= 주다

Actually, 다 means "all" but when it is a part of a word (there is not any space between them), in that case, -다 is a particle used to form verbs.

Lemme explain with examples.

다 바나나 = all bananas

다 = all & 바나나 = banana

But if it is

주다 (there is no space in between), it means we are talking about a verb.

주다 = 'TO' give

That's it for today ;)
