《Return Of The Nerd|||| COMPLETED》Chapter 18- Vengeance Is Mine

Adrianna Rodriguez's Point of View:
The party was in full swing and I was currently trying to avoid Jeremy seeing me.
"Hey baby" Sebastian grinned as he walked into the house with Rex and Jacob behind him. Katy and Matt had arrived half an hour earlier and I had already put them to use.
"Hey Seb," I pecked him on the lips quickly much to the dismay of Jacob who quickly averted his eyes. His eyes widened as he stared ahead of him.
I looked into the direction he was staring off into and saw that his eyes were fixated on Sarah, who was oblivious and was talking to Chris, Michael, and Matt. I also noticed that Katy and Rex were nowhere to be seen. I guess I'll just have to question her about that later.
Sebastian looked at where I was looking before a smirk settled on his face. He clearly saw what I was seeing and came to the same conclusion.
"See something you like?" I questioned him.
"Ah yeah," he murmured before clamping his lips together.
"No, I meant...I was...oh never mind..."
I almost started laughing at how nervous he was until I saw the flustered look on his face. In the time that I've known Jacob, he's had a total of two expressions. He's either unbothered by everything or annoyed with everything. There wasn't much difference in those expressions either but I could tell once that he was annoyed because of Rex and Rex is...well he's special.
"Her name is Sarah," I spoke up to get his attention.
He simply nodded his head in recognition of what I said. I had already told Sebastian and the rest that Sarah and Chris were coming but they don't know what they look like because they've obviously never seen them. Jacob was the silent smoldering type but seeing him lost for words right now was something new.
Sarah suddenly looked over in my direction and smiled. She started to walk towards me smirking at the guys who looked her way. I don't think she noticed Jacob standing beside Sebastian.
"Hey," her smile was infectious and I smiled as well.
"Hey Sarah," I pointed to Sebastian "this is my boyfriend, Sebastian"
"Seb this is Sarah"
"Nice to meet you, Sebastian, Anna has told me so much about you," she winked at me.
My face reddened at her words. Leave it to Sarah to say something like that.

Sebastian laughed at my reaction and turned his attention to Jacob who was trying his best to keep his cool.
"All good things I hope," he grinned.
She smiled, "nothing but"
"And who might this hunk be?" she asked as she finally noticed Jacob staring after her.
"Who me?" Jacob asked as he pointed at himself.
"Yes you," Sebastian snickered at him. Jacob glared at him.
"That's Jacob," I offered since Jacob was too stunned to answer.
"Well aren't you just charming," Sarah smirked.
Jacob blinked at her in wonder.
"Stop teasing the poor guy Sarah," I laughed.
She pouted and looked at me, "fine, Michael says we need more ice"
I rolled my eyes. Sebastian and Sarah laughed at my reaction.
"Want to go with me to more ice from the store?" I asked Seb.
"Of course love"
I snapped a hand in front of Jacob to get his attention. He looked at me with a blank expression, there's the Jacob I know and love.
"I got this one," Sarah smiled coyly as she wrapped her hand around his arm.
I watched as Jacob wordlessly allowed her to lead him further into the crowd. Sarah leaned in to say something to him and he smiled. I can't believe it, an actual smile from the brooding one. I might have actually witnessed a miracle firsthand. I looked to Sebastian who looked just as stunned as me.
"Let's go before stranger things start to happen," Sebastian nodded in agreement as we exited the house.
He opened the door to his car and waited for me to sit before he shut the door and walked around the car to open the driver's side. He got in and started the engine. He drove off and steered a course towards the nearest supermarket so we could get the ice. It was silent for a while until I glanced over at Sebastian at the same time that he looked at me. I kept it in for as long as I could but then we both burst out laughing.
"Did you see the stupefied look on his face?" he asked as he drove up towards the parking lot.
"He looked like a lost puppy," I gripped my belly as it churned from the force of my laughter.
Ding!
There was a vibrating sensation coupled with that sound signaling that I had just received a text message. I searched through the pocket of my jeans and pulled out my phone. I pressed the power button and watched as the screen lit up. There were two text messages one was from Michael while the other was from Sarah.

Michael- Get some more chips while you're at it.
I rolled my eyes at that one. His dumb ass should've been the one at the supermarket and not me.
Sarah- The plan is a GO!
"What plan?"
I almost jumped out of my skin at Sebastian's question. I hadn't even realized that he had already parked the car and was waiting on me.
"Oh n-nothing," my voice came out high pitched as I clenched my phone in my hand and out of his sight.
"You sure about that?" he interrogated me.
I laughed nervously fidgeting in my seat, "y-yeah I'm sure"
He sighed but dropped it, "are you ready to go in?"
I thought about it quickly, "actually can you just get it and bring it back please?"
I hurriedly dug through my pocket once again and pulled out a folded hundred dollar bill and held it up to him. He looked at it then me, then it, and back at me again. He breathed in deeply before sighing and removing his seatbelt. He leaned over to peck me on the lips before exiting the car and heading for the store.
I watched him walk away before remembering the chips. Damn you, Michael.
"Bring back some chips too!" I yelled after him.
He nodded and entered the building. I honestly wasn't surprised that he didn't take the money from me. He always insisted on paying for everything for me when we are together, I guess party suppliers are included in that, it doesn't stop me from trying though.
I leaned over the driver's seat to lock all the doors. Even though this was a safe neighborhood I don't need anyone getting any ideas. Safety first. I looked back at my phone, my eyes were glued to the screen, wishing Sarah would take back her text and tell me it was a mistake. Now that I was faced with the reality of what was about to happen I wasn't sure that I could do it.
I mean sure he broke my heart and destroyed the happiness of others but did that didn't mean he deserved what was coming to him. He had some redeeming qualities too I just had to think of them. I racked my brain for something, anything that would prove that he didn't deserve this but I fell short. Overall he really was just a terrible person. He went around cheating with persons who were in relationships, he was a bully to anyone who he didn't consider as popular as him and he was a class A jerk.
What on earth was I thinking? He had no redeeming qualities. He was a foul human being and he deserved what was coming to him. I can't believe I almost felt sorry for him a second there. I need to speak with my doctor about sporadic moments of madness because only insanity could account for my previous thoughts.
I jerked forward my phone falling out of my hand when there was a sudden knock against the window. I looked to my right to find Sebastian holding a bag of chips in his hands. I picked up my phone and unlocked the door, he got in closing the door behind him.
"Did you get the ice?" I asked as he handed the bag of chips to me.
He looked at me, "I already put them in the trunk"
"You were staring at your phone," he mumbled, "want to tell me what's going on?"
I debated with myself on whether or not I should tell him. I was afraid that he would try to talk me out of it but the plan was already underway so I guess I could. There was no convincing me to stop now. I told him everything, why Sarah and Chris came down here and what they were going to do. When I was finished he looked at me shocked.
"Are you serious"
"As serious as a heart attack"
"You can't do that," he sighed.
I could already feel myself get worked up, "and why the hell not?"
"Firstly that would haunt your conscience and secondly you could go to jail for something like that," he whispered.
I just shrugged at that, "I don't care and I won't get caught"
"This is a bad idea, Ria," he sighed. He's been doing a lot of sighing lately.
"He deserves this," I muttered under my breath.
"Even if he does how can you live with doing something that only a person like him would do?"
I went to retort but stopped myself. I thought about it, could I live with this? I couldn't answer that question but as he drove off I was determined to find out if I could.
